Great place come here all the time. Lots of taps always a few darks, sours, the unique stuff not just 25 ipa's like everywhere else.

Quaint little location and any brewery that has crafted ale I will be dropping in. Anything just to cool off. We were traveling by and I could not help myself to go inside. Really relaxed atmosphere and the locals are lovely. We found ourselves enjoying our brew before our next stop. Stellar Service! They offer a wide selection and with reasonable prices. We love it!

Love this cute place. Local brewery lots to choose from bottle and on tap. Games to play while sitting and hanging out. Bring food in and make a night of it

Good burgers and fries with a brewhouse nextdoor. What more can you ask for? Sit on the patio between the two and have a Local Cow burger and fries and a couple craft beers from the Hoppy Brewer ... HOOAH! I had a cheeseburger with bacon and sauteed onions. It came with fries which were paltry and uninspiring. My friends had a burger and Mount Hood Wedge and we got some beers from the adjacent Hoppy Brewer. The Hoppy Brewer had some nice drafts, but the Porter from the fridge at less than $5 a pint was awesome and $5 well spent. They were knowledgable and helpful, delivering quality brews at reasonable prices. The brews from the Hoppy Brewer sealed the deal, otherwise this would have been a 5 or 6 bomb experience. Beer garden! Nice combo! It's a place where you can buy ingredients to make your own beer, or where you can purchase some unusual beers you might not find in a grocery store. They don't serve food but they don't mind if you order from Local Cow next door. They will even deliver it right over to you. You can also just bring your own food into the garden area. They don't mind. And then on a sunny day, you can head yourself outside and sit for a spell while you drink your hoppy brew. And you can bring your dog!

Tasting starts......now!

You can order food from Local Cow, and they'll bring it over to you at Hoppy Brewer, so we ordered some fries.

This last weekend was my 4th stay at Edgefield and let me tell you all my favorite things plus a…read morefew extra tips! - The vibe is perfect for anyone who is tired of the standard hotel. So much art to look at, curiosities tucked in every corner, space to roam and explore! - Get the passport to make your stay even more rewarding and fun! I love the scavenger hunts and the stamps force you to do things you might not normally do on your own accord. - The full pitch and putt course is a relaxing and a fun way to spend a few hours. It was only $25 per person and took us 3 hours. - I signed up for the Makers Tour and highly recommend it! Lots of tastings and great historical facts along the way. - The soaking pools at night were perfect to relax muscles right before bed plus no kids after 8pm. - This hotel doesn't revolve around children. The movies that were showing were rated R and most of the pubs and pool hall are 21+. Kids are welcome - but I've never seen that many kids around which I like, personally. - It's very Dog Friendly!! - The live music is incredible. I've been here for big concerts on the lawn plus mini concerts down the winery hall. They were all amazing. - It can get noisy between 7-11pm especially in weekends! The building is old - not sure about insulation and things! Bring some earplugs, a positive attitude and maybe enjoy an extra drink! Or go during the week for a quieter experience. - The food is a bit pricey but if you are doing the passport it makes a little more sense. Some of my favorites are the Cajun Tots, Portland Dip, any Burger, and the Bagel and Lox Breakfast is Incredible!!!

The Highlights * The Saltwater Outdoor Pool: This was the absolute highlight of our stay. The water is kept at a perfect 38°C (100°F), making it incredibly relaxing. I highly recommend visiting after 8:00 PM when the pool becomes an 21+ area. * Thoughtful Details: The robes provided were high quality and very comfortable. Pro-tip: Be sure to bring flip-flops for the walk to and from the pool area. * Art & Dining: The murals throughout the hotel are fascinating to look at. We also had great experiences at the on-site bars and the Black Rabbit Restaurant, where both the food and the service were excellent. The Room & Stay Quality We specifically booked a room with a private bathroom and shower. However, most rooms at this location utilize communal facilities. Unfortunately, our room was located very close to the shared bathrooms and lavatories. Due to a complete lack of etiquette from other guests using those facilities, it was extremely noisy throughout the night. Because of the poor sleep quality and the noise levels, we likely won't be staying here again. It's a beautiful property, but the layout and noise issues made it difficult to fully enjoy our birthday celebration.
