Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon around 5pm. Place was not busy. Limited parking in the attached lot (so good wasn't busy). Had 1 pint & a wrap - total was about $20 with tip. Bartender was friendly. No descriptions of their beers, so hard to pick what you wanted. They do samples. Flights are an option. They have cider & wine as well. Bill was an excellent guide, and I had to take two of them home with me to LA (honey-ginger-rye and maple bourbon porter!) We were here for Sandy's Camo con, so it was a quick stop. Free popcorn was a nice addition. They have a few high top tables with TVs so you can watch the game. Cozy couch and games as well. Service with a smile as usual in Sandy. read more

We were in our way home from the Bigfoot museum and I said one more winery. When it's just me and my wife that's what we do. But with the kids even though 4 of 5 are adults, but have to limit my urges. We stopped here and it reminded me of a winery back home. They had both wine and beer on tap. I sampled 3 wines and a beer. I liked the Zinfandel, Mt. Hood IPA and the Coconut Cider. All very good. I had a glass of beer and we had a charcuterie board which was delicious. Our waitress was great. She stopped back often to check on us. She explained that they have been at this location for several years. The restrooms were in the area where they make the wine and beer. I love getting a look at others production area. Nice place to visit and relax. They have some games, nice stage in the back and a fun area to sit and enjoy wine or beer. read more

Boring Brewing isn't located in Boring, Oregon, and their brews are definitely not boring, either. We stopped in for a rest & drink in between hiking locales. Nice place with a covered, heated patio, and plenty of seating inside. The lady working was so friendly & answered our questions. I enjoyed one of their ciders and the Hubs had their brown ale. They had quite a few beers & ciders that sounded good to us, so we'll stop by again the next time we're out hiking in the area. read more

Went to the new Boring Rose Brewery and it was a wonderful experience. The staff is very friendly, the building is beautiful, and they have the perfect location. I had the Latrobe Lager and it was so good that I took some home. My friend had white wine, which they have on tap. Jamie was very helpful in answering some plant questions. We were out near Boring, OR and decided to try out Boring Brewing on this beautiful Sunday afternoon. The brewery and joint winery are housed in a simple warehouse with inviting interior. There was plenty of indoor seating, but was a little confusing at first. There was only one person manning both wine bar and beer bar. We don't know much about Boring Brewing but it looks like it's a family-owned business. It's clean and friendly, and the bar tender was polite and nice to talk to. There's a nice big grassy outside sitting area in the back with a covered stage/seating area, bag boards, and more outside seating. The crowd of folks here ranges from 30-something-parents-with-children to the middle aged, and its very quiet but fun and family-oriented. Just for the location, quality of service and the amenities, I give this a 5/5 place. We ordered the hummus plate, which was filled with fresh crunchy veggies and delicious hummus. I would definitely recommend for a snack, and worth the price at $6-7. 5/5 for this. Now, the beer. We ordered a flight to get acquainted with their beer. We ordered the Big Yawn IPA, Boring Brown, Haimhausen, Lavender Ultra Pale Ale, and the Old Alzy. To be honest, my boyfriend and I are a little bit of beer snobs. The beer is fine - middle of the road. I was excited for the Lavender Ale, but it tasted like perfume. The Alzy has great aroma, but it's 3.5% ABV and tasted a little watered down. Overall, the Big Yawn IPA was the best out of the flight. We'd rate the beer 3/5 - with lots of potential. We enjoyed our time here and definitely recommend coming out and supporting this business. Bring your friends, family, kids, and in-laws - there's lots to do and it's in a nice facility and beautiful location. We're excited to see what this brewery has in store for their future. read more

Stopped in for a beer. My fiancé just got a new ID because her old one expired. She gave the bartender the paper ID and the expired Id which was punched. "Bartender said you know you can't use this right? It's the law". She doesn't know the law and should go through the OLCC class again. We drove from Portland just for this place. We heard they had good beer and wanted to check it out. The outside is simple and it's tiny inside! (They are getting ready to move). We had a taster tray and tried most of his beers. They were good. My fav was the Big Yawn IPA. We sat for a good half hour and talked to the owner. He is such a nice guy and really cares about his business and his customers. I am excited to go back out and see what they do in their new space. read more

Stopped by the brand new location just off HW 26. It's still in finishing stages inside, but the back patio and beer garden are fantastic. We stopped by during a 35 mile ride on our bikes. As soon as we arrived, Bill (I think) popped out to let us know it was okay for us to take our bikes with us. After securing the bikes, we ordered the hoppy blonde and RyePA. Both were delicious beers, and Bill brought us some pretzels to snack on as we enjoyed the gorgeous weather outside. I went back for a second Rye, and he offered to fill our water bottles with fresh water for our ride back. Excellent beers, amazing patio, and located right along a bike path and on the way back from hood. Will definitely be stopping by after our outdoor adventures! read more

I visited this brewery in July of 2018. Let me tell you, the staff was really nice and the owner was so friendly. I love the design of their shirts and growlers. We bought several and use them often! The owner was nice enough to let me sample a few of their beers. Had a nice conversation with the owner as my girlfriend bought one of everything. Their hospitality exceeded the many other breweries we visited during our travels. 10/10 I will definitely return if I'm ever in the area again! read more

Stopped by here the other day after biking to Boring on the Springwater Trail. Bike parking out front. This place is just across the street from the park where the springwater trail ends. It is a nice little taproom and brewery. Their beers were solid. Selection was fairly modest, but had a couple guest taps plus some they brewed themselves. They had a few areas for outside seating, as well as a modest bar and some tables in a room to the side. No food (except for some chips/salsa available for a couple bucks). All in all, it's a nice option to enjoy a pint mid-way along your ride. read more

Went in here with an awesome Groupon (2 taster trays, 2 pints and 2 growlers). With 10 beers on tap, and 10 tasters we were able to try each of the beers on tap. We were disappointed that a lot of the beers tasted flat, and honestly most of them tasted the same. We also found it strange to have two beers on tap that were less than 3%. When it come to choose a pint for our deal, we had a hard time deciding on one we like enough to have a full pint of. We needed a snack so we ordered the cheese fondue. It was okay, but the "kitchen" (aka microwave) was by our table so it was a little weird to see them microwave our cheese in a paper bowl and bring to us with pre-cut bread. And to pay $9 for that was a bit much. The brewer did come by and chat with us and was a very nice guy! He's the reason for the 2 starts. read more

We visited the Boring Brewery when it first opened and initially weren't that impressed, but I'm glad we gave it a second chance as this Brewery is practically in our backyard and we need some fun places on the East side of town. Anyways, we stopped in for some Mother's Day refreshments and Amy was our server. She was spectacular. She was the only one working and was attentive as can be. She even made suggestions on our appetizers and we appreciated her friendliness and the way she was able to improvise the menu to fit our dietary needs. We sampled the sausage/fondue mix and had a flight of wine and beer. Both were tasty and prices were super reasonable. The outdoor seating is a nice plus and as the weather improves, this will be a great place to visit with friends and there may even be live music Amy hinted. GREAT BEER - Met the owners Bill & Kelly who seem to be working had to not only make great beer but to great a welcoming spot to relax and perhaps meet some locals or fellow travelers. Tried all the beers they had on tap and had a hard time deciding which I like better. Had purchased a Groupon months back that was itching to get used so stopped in at the address off Highway 26 that was listed on the Groupon only to be told that Boring Brewery was no longer there and would not honor the deal. So .. left to head for Mt Hood. Upon entering Sandy I see a sign for Boring Brewery - stoped in and discover Boring Brewery is in business in a much better place. Really wanted to like the beer but oddly both husband and I agree that 4/5 of our sample tray beers tasted exactly the same...the only different tasting one was the rye. Allowing one additional star for the nice outside space but won't be back. read more
