I've been a member at Teqneeq for the past six months…read more I've trained and worked in professional fitness studios and health clubs for more than two decades, across multiple countries, and Teqneeq is by far the best gym I've ever been a part of. 24/7 access, facial-recognition entry, exceptional equipment, an extremely clean and quiet facility, a professional community, and a wonderful staff. What stands out most to me, though, is the environment. The culture and etiquette reflect what this facility is designed to be: a serious training and wellness environment where privacy, discretion, cleanliness, and actually improving your physical and mental well-being come first. I also want to address two points I've seen mentioned in some of the negative reviews: the technology etiquette and the owner, Dom. The technology etiquette is, in my opinion, one of Teqneeq's greatest strengths. I train high-net-worth individuals who value their privacy and don't want to be recorded while they're exercising. They want to focus on their training without worrying about cameras or becoming the background of someone else's social media content. Technology absolutely has a place in training, but if your gym experience revolves around setting up a tripod and filming your workouts, Teqneeq probably isn't the right facility for you. Personally, I appreciate that boundary. As for Dom, he has been nothing but professional and courteous since I joined. It's clear to me that he cares deeply about maintaining a facility members can enjoy and about protecting the standards that make Teqneeq different. Considering the quality of the facility, equipment, access, and overall experience, I also think the value is exceptional. Is Teqneeq a gym for everyone? Probably not, and I don't think it's trying to be. It's a gym for professionals and individuals who value privacy, discretion, cleanliness, and a serious training environment. Come in, train hard, connect with good people, clean up after yourself, respect the space and the people around you, and you'll be hard-pressed to find a better gym.

The location…read moreis fantastic, right across from 4S Commons Town Center, so it's super convenient to grab groceries, coffee or tea before or after a workout. It makes fitting the gym into my routine so much easier. From the beginning, the staff has been friendly, welcoming and helpful. Brandon especially made the whole process easy by taking the time to explain the membership options clearly and answer all of our questions. We really appreciated how patient and knowledgeable he was. I've already tried the yoga and aqua fitness classes and loved both of them. The atmosphere is really positive and motivating. The only challenge is that the gym can get pretty busy at certain times, so some of the equipment is often occupied. I'm still figuring out the best times to come in for a smoother workout experience. Very excited to try the newly opened Glute Room next, and maybe Pilates too. Really looking forward to continuing my fitness journey here!

The…read morefront desk staff and the gentleman at the smoothie/snack area are very nice but that's about it 1. NO a/c or proper ventilation; recently it has been borderline dangerous to even attempt a full workout here with how hot and musty it is. The building genuinely stinks and it's extremely hot with stagnant air that will make you feel sick 2. No new machines/ outdated machines/ machines taking ages to fix; the fact that they have 4 rooms (2 which were freshly remodeled) for things like zoomba, treadmills, Pilates and glutes with an upper floor solely for treadmills is outrageous considering their weight lifting machines are constantly breaking and taking weeks to fix. 3. No parking due to how many people will come at one time to partake in the Pilates, zoomba, glute, and treadmill class 4. Over priced with no amenities. The pool is nasty, locker rooms are gross, sauna is full of creepy old dudes. 5. Horrible hours of operation on weekends. All of these would not be a problem if they didn't charge 40 dollars or more for passes. Not to mention the lack of cleanliness from other gym goers who don't wipe down machines or use two at once and waste other people's time. Still a decent gym with good people but not worth it compared to things like the new gym that opened in RB that's open 24/7.

Whether you're an athlete or an ordinary person who wants to be fit, Carl is the ultimate personal…read moretrainer! Recently, I was at the beach with two of my girlfriends enjoying the sunset. We were sitting in those little beach chairs, approx. 2 inches off the sand. They had already taken a walk down the beach and when getting out of their chairs I noticed they had to roll over onto their knees and hold onto the chair in order to stand up. That's the way I used to have to get out of a low sitting chair but these women are at least 10 years younger than I am. A little later when we were getting ready to go home, I heard one of my friends say, "Damn, girl! You just stood right up!!" and I realized she was talking to me. I have been working with Carl on my strength and personal fitness for more than five years and have progressively experienced the ease at which I do many, many everyday activities; like walking up steps with bags of groceries, picking up items off the ground, getting serving bowls off a high shelf while standing on a step-stool, rearranging outside planter pots in the patio, moving 40 pound bags of cat sand, and - standing up from a low seated position without even noticing!!! Several years ago, I realized that I needed to address what happens to a person's strength and basic abilities as they age. I knew that in order to even just maintain what I had, I needed to start working at it. I am ever so grateful to Carl for working with ordinary people like me and keeping us all on the road of health and well-being. I am also aware of the amazing athletes he works with, who I'm sure are as grateful as I am for his intuition and significant expertise. He has managed to not only keep me strong but has (as I'd described earlier) coached me into being so much stronger than ever before. I believe wholeheartedly that he understands what I need; what I can do; and what I will be working toward. Included are photos of me doing a few typical routines. As my physician's records show, I have been able to increase my muscle mass, reduce body fat, stabilize my weight, significantly improve flexibility, and maintain excellent bone density ...just to name a few effects. Yes, I've been consistent and persistent. None of it is "easy." It's actually rather funny how just when the routine begins to feel easy - Carl changes it!! Which is of course, perfect! Whether you're an athlete or someone who simply wants to maintain your optimal health, talk with Carl. If you're serious - he will help you.

Carl also offers a simple approach to nutrition. I sent him my typical daily diet (the real way I eat, ice cream and all) and he suggested a few easy and doable ways to improve it (I still get ice cream!) He will hold you accountable and consistently push your performance. He will expand your view of yourself and what you are capable of. I definitely recommend him!

I've seen the changes of location and each one has been a step up from the previous! A good sign that the owner, Cat is doing something right. I love her passion, drive, and positivity! She really cares about her clients and their successes and that's why her business has flourished throughout the years. She has an amazing backstory of how she started her business. Follow your dreams! Truly inspiring woman. Location is just off the 15 Freeway so it's easy access with tons of parking. There's also restaurants and a nail salon if you want to pamper yourself nearby. The studio is on the second floor up a flight of stairs. The interior is open, bright, and inviting. The motivating wall quotes (my favs!) are displayed throughout their studio and even the bathroom stalls! Looooove it! The spin room is spacious and the perfect size to fit in spin bikes, weights, mats, and other equipment (see pics and videos). Everything is well-maintained, sanitized, and clean. The bathroom has showers and cubbies. An added bonus for those that need to go to work after. The workouts may sound like your average strength training,TRX, and spin class but there's something special about the people. Instructors are just as passionate and you can tell they are a supportive community with similar goals. I always feel welcome when I'm here. You won't get much of that at a standard gym. This seems more intimate and they even remember your name and cheer you on in class. How cool is that? Workouts vary, but I have tried the following: Spin Sculpt Fusion - My favs! TRX, Spin, and Strength Spin Core Bootcamp - Cat's class is hardcore !! They also have HIIT and Spin and online classes via OnDemand! I take them through ClassPass and just recently bought a package since I enjoy a variety of workouts, but anything that involves spin will be my go to! They have great deals on packages that never expire. Locals also get their first class for FREE. Definitely give them a shot if you are in the area. You'll get hooked! I have only positive things to say about Studio Sweat and highly recommend them to all my family and friends.
