I'm not sure why their membership history couldn't be verified. Derek was not helpful, and the overall lack of customer service, combined with the dirty amenities, was extremely disappointing. As a member, I shouldn't feel like I'm being met with confrontation when simply trying to use the club.

I think if you workout a lot, this class may be more of a rest day. The instructor was really fit but I wish she did more of the class with us because the moves are a little awkward sometimes, but again doable. What I did like about the class was its emphasis on balance. That is huge because as someone who hikes and plays sports, I'm always trying to find things to improve my balance so I don't fall. I did like this class for that. Glad I gave it a try! And I will add it into my routine.

I really enjoyed the instructors and the studio environment, but the way "no-show" fees are applied…read moreis not reasonable. I was charged multiple $20 "no-show" fees despite being physically present at the studio--just a few minutes late and not allowed into class. I stayed to try to attend the next class immediately after, so calling that a "no-show" does not accurately reflect the situation. A late arrival that is denied entry is not the same as not showing up at all, yet it is treated the same for billing purposes. That approach feels overly rigid and not customer-focused. Although the charges were eventually refunded after escalation, the process to resolve it was unnecessarily difficult. The instructors and front desk team were consistently positive and professional, which makes it even more disappointing that this issue appeared to be handled at the franchise owner/management level. The instructors are great, but the way this policy is enforced can be misleading and significantly detracts from the overall experience. 29 Apr 2026 Thank you for the response. To clarify, I did reach out directly to Nicole multiple times, as well as to the studio, to resolve this before posting. Despite that, the same "no-show" charges continued to be applied, including an additional charge after I updated my payment method, which directly contradicted the agreed plan. I was physically present at the studio each time, just a few minutes late, and stayed to attend the next class immediately after. Classifying that as a "no-show" more than once and continuing to apply charges after the issue was raised, was the main concern. The charges were only refunded after I escalated the matter beyond the studio level. In addition, the refund was processed to a card that was no longer active without any communication with me, which required me to follow up with my bank to resolve. I appreciate that the refunds were ultimately processed, but the overall handling of this situation required far more effort than it should have. Going forward, I hope the studio applies the "no-show" policy in a way that more accurately reflects actual attendance, so members who are present are not treated the same as those who do not show up at all.

I usually feel great after a workout at their studios, but unfortunately, that wasn't my experience at this location. It was hard to hear her, and she sounded very muffled. For most of the class, no one seemed to know what her instructions were, and it was pretty apparent. I'll come back and see how it goes again.

Unfortunately, I have not attended any of their classes, but I have made use of pretty much every piece of equipment they will allow me to have. I say this because the trainers here have a closet full of goodies that they use for their clients. What they do have out is already pretty outstanding, especially because it's part of Torrey Gardens. Key fob needed to get in, open 24 hours. Equipment uses air pressure for resistance. This is totally new to me, but I have used it and have found very positive results. There's no barbell or a bar to hang from to do pull ups from, but there's plenty of workarounds. The dumbbells are easily the best thing about this place, as they go real heavy (up to 100lbs!). Their cable machines are good, and they have a great assortment of leg machines. They have good kettlebells, good cardio machines to include one rower and hand crankers. They also have two foam rollers, which are essential! The trainers are always busy with their clients, and they know what they are doing! If you live here, you need to utilize what you are paying for included into your rent! I will definitely continue to workout here as long as I'm living in Torrey Gardens!

They have showers if you are in a hurry in need to be somewhere they are clean! The only complaint I have is the wipes for the equipment are always out... oh and there are quite a few guys here who don't like to wear deodorant so when that happens it's hard to stay cause the smell is rough. One of the things I like about the cardio equipment here is it is timed for 30 minutes so usually people are not on it for an hour. It really frees it up for other people to use so your not waiting. One of the best apartment gyms for sure. I have not tried the personal trainers but they do offer them. They also have classes like yoga if your interested.

I understand the vibe they are going for with the dark studio, pulsating lights, and loud, heavy bass, but I didn't find it to be a great workout experience. While the instructor had great energy, he had to shout to be heard over the music, and there were absolutely no form corrections. It felt very much like do as you please. The workout included a lot of treadmill cardio, which isn't my preference. Ultimately, the intense visual and auditory stimulation was just too overwhelming for a workout session. It's a specific style that the studio is going for but it's just not my cup of tea.
