I have been visiting this Home Depot regularly since purchasing my home in Tulsa. This is the worst Home Depot in Tulsa, and potentially the United States. The employees avoid interacting with customers and most of useful items are locked up. If you try to get an employee to come unlock it - be prepared to wait a lengthy time. Love this location! When I've gone there hasn't been an overwhelming amount of traffic but if there were they had enough workers to compensate. I'm always able to find exactly what I need, the store is well organized and the staff is very helpful and kind! This will be my preferred location moving forward! Your delivery driver drove a truck into my yard while delivering mulch for my neighbor. He drove right over one of the sprinkler heads in my lawn, breaking it. Now your corporate office refuses to do anything about it. I can replace the head myself but I'd like you guys to provide the materials, probably about $40 in parts. Are you so cheap and pathetic of a company that you won't provide the materials? I mean, you literally sell these materials in your stores. What is your freaking problem? I came to Home Depot to get supplies for repotting some plants (better places than Amazon ) and discovered that they do kids woodcraft workshops from 9am until noon on the first Saturday of every month. I am far from a child, but they encouraged me to join in anyway and I ended up with a pretty cool looking pinball machine. They have everything set up for you to complete it there, or you can take the kits home and do it on your own. Every month, they feature a different project. read more

Was here in the garden section and I thought water had spilled on my hand from previous rain, man I was wrong it was a mouse that peed on my hand and jumped from the metal garden bed I was holding. After I spoke to two different associates about a mouse in their items and that it peed on my hand they shrugged their shoulders as if it's a normal occurrence. Something has changed in the management of this Home Depot. My last 3 visits have raised major concerns, most importantly, of which, is staffing. The store seems seriously understaffed. Today, at the lunchtime rush, they had only 3 cashiers and no self check. My cashier seemed none too enthusiastic about actually doing her job. I hate traveling so far as Owasso, but the two stores are night and day in terms of management. Lowes' at any location is a better alternative. read more

Came a month ago and bought privacy fence panels. Waited for 45 min and no one ever came out to load them. Went back into the store and the service desk lady said the guy went to lunch. She said to wait 30 min. I did. Went back in and she said the guy was helping someone else. I asked for my money back. She acted like it was an inconvenience. Went back today to buy a zero turn lawn mower. Waited 15 min. for a sales person. He went to get the keys to the lawnmower. Waited on him for 30 min. He came back and said he couldn't find the key to the mower but that I could BUY a universal key. I said no thank you and left. Was just at the Home Depot at Elgin Downtown and found a toolbox that was on sale with the price tag on it for $648 went up to the cash register and it rang up $1000, a manager named Edwards on 8/23/2024 at 12pm was very rude to me and embarrassed me and ripped the price tag off of the tool box and said that was the sale price on a certain day and was not the price for today. I have never had a manager treat me so rude and he acted like he enjoyed being that rude. First of all I'd like to say that most the staff here are super friendly. There are a couple people in the paint department who are amazing. However - the management here is terrible. We're in the middle of a pandemic and it is now the law to wear a mask in public places. This store REFUSES to enforce this mandate - making it unsafe for their employees and customers. I love this location! It is very convenient and there's plenty of parking. They have a variety of products in all their departments (appliances, building materials, decor, doors & windows, electrical, flooring, heating & cooling, kitchen, bath , lawn & garden, lighting & fans, outdoor living, paint, plumbing, storage and tools & hardware), and it's usually well stocked. It has been kind of busy most of the times I've come in so I can't say much about customer service but everything is pretty organized so it's easy to find what you're looking for. read more

This location is quite convenient to everything in downtown Tulsa. There is plenty of parking, and it is never super busy. I sometimes have a hard time understanding their vision for staffing. There have been a few visits now where the only place to check out is the self service. It NEVER works, and the person running it is not proactive about supporting customers when it inevitably fails. I personally appreciate going through traditional lines and interacting with an actual human being. On the bright side, they always have a great selection of house plants and succulents! read more

This Home Depot is the closet to our renovation project and we have become familiar with their staff over the past last couple of months. We have dogs. One is over 120#s. She is very social and loves people. Bringing her to Home Depot is something we enjoy doing because she gets lots of loves on our visits. There is one employee that is scared of her and always has to make rude comments about how a dog of her size should have to stay home as to not scare people. I could counter that a person that is scared of dogs to the point of verbally asserting themselves without solicitation should seek employment somewhere other than a pet-friendly retailer, but we both know that would be moot. The return counter/pro desk employees are knowledgeable, friendly and on-task. The ladies that work at the paint counter are funny and engaging. They know their stuff. There a several men in their late 50's + that blatantly ignore me. They chose to continue on with their personal conversations and look right through me. I'd assume that it was because I'm a woman, but I am also a short woman. Maybe they have issues with the vertically challenged. It might also be the dog. More likely than not, they just don't care to help anyone (they've also ignored my husband). read more

It would be kind to the shoppers who bring in their dogs if you would not stop and stare at, and talk about the dog. It would also be considerate if you did not insinuate that a dog is racist because it is barking at you... First of all, how amazing is it to have a Home Depot right downtown? Tulsa is so lucky! If you need hardware near downtown OKC, you're out of luck. I had about five minutes to find what I needed, and I had no idea where it was! Luckily, Joe found me and walked me all around the store, showing me several different options that were available in the different sections. I never would have found the items I ended up buying without his help. No waiting for a human checker, and she was super friendly. And again, the location was absolutely wonderful. They have everything you need for home projects and repair. They have large appliances, I bought a refrigerator on clearance. They deliver it and took my old one away. They have lawn and garden supplies as well as flowers, herbs, and shrubs in spring and summer. It has an odd entry off 11th St as well as Elgin, be careful in bad weather. read more

I ordered a air/heat window unit for my apartment in September. After three scheduled delivery dates were canceled the DAY BEFORE because of "back order", the day of stated delivery day, the unit never came and customer service said they couldn't get the delivery truck to answer their phone to explain. Several days later I received an email stating it would be delivered in March. That's SIX MONTHS after the first scheduled delivery date. Absolutely terrible! Customer service was awful. I couldn't find any help in the bolt department and when I did find someone he said "thats not my department and walked away! !!" Then while checking out the price of an item rang up incorrectly and the only explanation was that it wasn't the checkers problem and she couldn't do anything. She wouldn't even do a price check. Then I have been accused of stealing! I've never stolen anything in my life. And I was a very good customer at that store until today. I will never go back. We ordered and paid for countertops in December. Someone was sent to measure for them on January 24th. We were told that it would be 4 weeks until installation. At 3.5 weeks, we learned that the countertops had NEVER been ordered and that it would be another 5-6 weeks before they could install them! They insist that they called about a $140 balance (the counters were over $3000) but we NEVER received a message. They have had over $3000 of our money for 2 months. We asked for a refund and were told that we would have to wait 21 days for a check because it was over $1000. REALLY??? Are they going to pay us interest on the money that they won't give back? I doubt it! RUN AWAY......DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS STORE!!!! read more
