First a big THANK YOU to our Home Depot here in Tooele! This is such a busy time of year and they have been wonderful at keeping employees and customers safe. The lines at the front of the store can look daunting but they move fast. We have been able to get in, in a sooner than expected amount of time and every employee I have talked to has been extremely helpful. My husband and I always seem to need to make another Home Depot run and with how efficiently this store has been run we aren't afraid to go. We also love the Veteran's discount! Such a great thank you from them for the people who have served. We are grateful everything has been in stock and people have been kept safe. Thank you for all of you hard work! This location has earned its bad reviews. I love Home Depot, but this location sucks. HD is famous for their excellent customer service, and this store is a glaring exception. Employees are usually standing around talking, ignoring customers, and hard to find within the aisles. When I have needed help, employees have seemed put off by me and rude. One employee just kept cutting me off and wouldn't even let me finish asking my question, so I never got an answer. The thing that annoys me most about this store is that every time I come in, multiple aisles are blocked by scaffolds or ladders that employees have just abandoned. The last time I went in was a Sunday morning 1 hour after opening, and three aisles I started to go down were blocked by store equipment that no one was using. read more

Good products like the other stores in this chain but their employees need better training. I waited to pickup an order for 30 minutes only to find out they lost the cart of stuff they pulled for me and just assumed someone else already brought it to me. When i finally got tired of waiting and went in to find out what the problem was, the girl at the register acted like i was lying. This is only one instance of the horrid customer service here, i have many many more. My advice: do not order ANYTHING online from this location, they'll screw it up somehow. I am a Home Depot fan and almost a daily customer. But This particular location is bad. A few months ago, I needed some electrical components and when I asked for help, the employee mocked me for not hiring an electrician and got a couple other customers to agree with him and they all joined in for a good laugh.. at me. When I reported this to the so called management, they didn't seem to care. Never been more disgusted at a complete ignorance of customer service or basic human courtesy for that matter. I have never seen so many people sitting down without any ambition to help customers with help. Kids just sitting on their phones at the checkout sitting down and not paying attention while you are needing help. At this same time there was 5 other employees sitting down in the middle of the isle laughing and having a good time. Not professional at all. You are there for a job and to work. Bought a dishwasher August 29, 2020 to be delivered September 12, 2020. Came damaged and called customer service when the plumber came to hook it up. It's now October 5, 2020, still no dishwasher. The broken one has been sitting in my living room for a month now. After calling customer service multiple times (one being extremely rude) they now claim it isn't their problem and that there's nothing they can do. I've had an open hazard in my kitchen for a month now with small children in my home. Will not be buying from Home Depot again. read more

I've had one of the truly worst experiences ever with purchasing appliances. We ordered a refrigerator, washer, and dryer on May 16th that had to be delivered. Delivery date was scheduled for June 5th that was all fine. On June 4th I get a call telling me that our appliances were not going to be delivered with no reason. I had to go to the store and insist that they find out what was going on since I had no other communication. We found out that they were on back order (again I was never informed of this prior to the day before delivery) they rescheduled it for the 15th of June. So this past week prior to the scheduled delivery I called on Wednesday and again today (6/14) to confirm that the delivery was still on I was assured that we would be getting a call prior to 8pm EST to schedule the 4 hour delivery window. That time came and went without a call. Now I get to call in the morning to find out if we will have the appliances that we have had to live without for an entire month. It's ridiculous that this is still going on and absolute nonchalance from the Home Depot employees. read more

They have what we need, the staff is very friendly, but sometimes not so knowledgeable, but they have gotten alot better. I have no complaints about this store, except since im a 5'2 girl, some of the male staff treat me like im an delicate idiot. This Home Depot is the worst I was at the store picking up my order the guy asked if I had a flat bed trailer and with out rails on the side I said it did have rails he said that I'm scared and have to hand load it so he left and I cut the strap and started hand loading all my wood and then he was flipping out on me wouldn't even help my load any of my 2 x 4s I wouldn't recommend going to this Home Depot read more

Today, my husband and our family went to Home Depot Tooele to get a few things to finish our home projects, and the rudest lady waited on us. She wouldn't even look at us or talk to us. She was not friendly at all. Then, to make matter worse, she kept sticking her tongue out of her mouth every 5 seconds. It was making me sick!! So, after all of that, my husband is a veteran and he went to ask for his military discount, and she was so quick to pull out a picture of the forms of ID they accept now for military discounts. Funny, it was not a problem a week ago? Now, it was a problem. So another lady came over and kindly gave us his military discount. If this is how Home Depot treats their Veterans, then we won't be back!!! read more

Suboptimal store, terrible customer service. The staff is disconnected, unconcerned and has no interest in helping. It would not be so bad if the items you needed were easily accessible and you could get them yourself but the items you need are often up on the 50 ft shelf. When you attempt to find an employee to get said item, as it is a violation to use the ladder for forklift yourself, there is no employee to be found. Thus wander around trying to find one. Once you do find one, The blank stare that you receive is beyond frustrating and then when they do pick up their phone or intercom to call another employee to assist, you still wait for 20 minutes and no one shows up. So you go to customer service to ask for assistance again, and you get another blank stare. Same process starts over. When a employee finally shows up, employee stares at you, stares at the item on the top of the 50 ft shelf, moves that ladder that you already brought over, and leaves. Does not say she/he will be back, just leaves. I get that these employees are paid by the hour so they do not care if it takes them 5 min or 50 min help you, but my time is valuable. As I am not being paid to stand around and wait in this store, I am less than pleased. This is not a rare occurrence , this is the culture that this stores management has supported and apparently, encourages. AVOID this store.
