I kind of knew what color I wanted, but she showed me several examples to confirm. She then proceeded to help me pick brushes, paint, and wax. The best part was she gave me a full demonstration of how to actually use the paint and wax. It really helped me understand the process since I have never used this type of paint before. I put on the first coat tonight. I can tell it is probably going to need two coats. Since it is a book case, I don't think I will brush the 'top' of the shelves (or bottom- however you look at it). I might roll those since they are not visible. I love the Chateaux. It is a beautiful khaki green. It is going to be beautiful when I am done. I loved the amazing customer service. I had ordered 17 gallons of paint ($650+) and she gave me an eye roll after saying she probably didn't have that much of what I wanted on hand. I had called my contractor to confirm what I was ordering and had her talk to him on my phone. I'm standing at the counter and she's on my phone, again with the attitude, head shaking, and eye rolls while talking to my contractor. (Hello I can see you). Not sure why she had the attitude but she clearly hates her job. Probably shouldn't be in sales or customer service. I will say the other lady there was polite while I heard her helping customers. The bathroom was disgusting also. I won't be back to this location, which is a bummer since this is the closest one to my house. But I'd rather commute to another store.

I understand that prices can change, but it is the store's responsibility to make sure the prices displayed for customers are accurate and up to date. Having to find out at checkout that the price is different is frustrating and misleading. Unfortunately, because this has happened more than once during my visits, I feel this is an ongoing problem rather than a one-time mistake. I hope management takes the time to correct the pricing and make sure customers are given accurate information before they get to the register. Very disappointing experience.

It was the perfect date night-an activity and a souvenir, and priced at $5 per person (plus supplies) I felt like it was a good deal. We arrived a few minutes early and saw other attendees lurking about, a little unsure on what to do. Eventually, we found our way to the back where there were tables setup and our instructor, ready to get hands dirty. The class itself was fun-Lucas showed us different plant options as well as items to put at the bottom of our containers to provide drainage. I would have loved to have had more time with him to learn more about the specific plants, what goes well together and how to best care for them when we got home. But there were at least 20 people there, all with questions, so we did our best and had a great time! While we were there, we also perused the other products-specifically the produce-so we could eat some fresh fruit while we planted. The selection was fresh, and we took home raspberries, nectarines and apples-as well as a bottle of raspberry jam. I didn't see a TON of larger plants or things for the yard-most of what I saw was on the smaller side. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I'm sure we will be back as we grow our collection of indoor plants.
