I've come to appreciate the Home Depot chain, and this link in that chain has got…read moremost of the things you'll need to work on your apartment, house, etc. Tip: The aisles are logically well organized, but where to find whatever is driving your visit here that day is far from obvious. For this reason, you shouldn't be shy about asking any of the employees you'll run across inside the store for help finding something. As far as prices go, they're middle-of-the-road here, but you'll sometimes find some really great sales, and occasionally you'll run across some clearance items scattered throughout with price tags that can take your breath away :-)

    Rented equipment from the largest tool supply within home depot's. Called in tonight, they hung up…read moreon us 3 times. Called in to let them know we were bringing the tool we rented back a day late. Called in to give them the update. Before I could say anything like how much will it be, the employee picked up the phone asked that I hold, didn't wait to hear yes or no. Nothing just put me on permanent hold. Sat on hold for 25 minutes then the employee comes back on the phone tells me sorry for the long wait they helped everyone that was standing there at the counter first. I told him you couldn't get back on the phone and say it will be another minute, no just silence for 25 mins. I explained good customer service would be you get back on the phone and say it will be another minute.l can you please hold. No just put me on hold again, that way you don't have to do 2 things at once. I asked for a manager, Angela came to the tool rental dept. I explained that on our way there we called three times trying to see what was the amount we owed. We were hung up on 3 times. 4th time they answered then disrespectfully kept us on hold. The manager did nothing to rectify the problem. The customer service tonight does not deserve even a 1 on a scale of 1 to 10. If your two employees who were running the dept. are not trained to handle customers in front of them and customers calling in then this comes from lack of training on the managers part. The last item was they do not accept cash when paying for the rental. I had reserved the tool on my credit card but then the tool was paid for by a man on the job whibgave me cash to pay for the rental, 9f which turned out to be more than what I had on my card. So I had leave and now take more time and gas out of my day tomorrow to go back up to the tool dept. And pay for the rental. I do not rent tools very often so I was not aware of this. If they would have given me a few minutes of their time when I was driving to the store and explained this, the ending to the night would have been veryvdifferent. What can improve? Customer Service, Training by the Manager of which she should be aware of tasks that her young employees need if they are having them work for Home Depot.
