What would we do without Harbor Freight? Good quality tools cheaper than brand names. Tons of…read moreinventory and always sending coupons. You never buy anything at HF at regular retail. Just wait for it to go on sale. This location in Sandy is typical for all HFs. Large selection, brightly lit, and friendly employees. Pro tip: Use the app to search for products as it tells you which aisle it is located in. I always look at HF for tools and supplies before I look at Walmart or Home Depot/Lowes. Oh, and I always buy their batteries, especially their alkaline batteries. They last just as long as the name brand ones but are SO cheap! And if you are patient and always check their coupons, you can get them for 30% to 50% off of THEIR price! Total bargain! 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

They pretty much have ALL of the small stuff that I need (fasteners, fertilizer, mulch, sprinkler heads, plumbing supplies, hummingbird feeders, etc.) and if I need something larger (toilets, shelving, etc.) I may go to one of the big box stores. But that hasn't happened yet! The staff there know where EVERYTHING is, and will walk you to where the item(s) are located on a given aisle. They have sales events too, as I recently purchased 25 bags of Scott's red cedar mulch from them for $3.99 bag (2 cu ft.) Can't beat that. They even have a great assortment of BBQ supplies as well. I am a member of their Ace Rewards savings program and that has saved me a few bucks here and there (and especially the 20% savings per bag because I was a member!) Can't beat a local hardware store minutes away! Five Stars.

I had such a great experience at Ace Hardware thanks to Jose F!…read more Jose was truly amazing--honestly the best customer service I've experienced in years. I called the store with a problem and wasn't even sure there was a solution. He encouraged me to come in and confidently assured me he would help figure something out. And he absolutely delivered. He was incredibly friendly, patient, and accommodating, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. It's so refreshing to walk into a store and be helped by someone who genuinely cares and takes pride in helping customers. I left feeling extremely grateful. Huge thank you to Jose for making what could have been a stressful situation so easy!

Well, after a span of over a decade, I figure it probably is time for me to update my review of…read morethis IFA. As the weather is warming, I have been making my rounds to several stores in search of the things I need for spring gardening. This week, it was a trip to IFA to grab some fertilizer for lawn. I don't do a lot of fertilizing here, but since my former lawn care days, I help out a lot of other folks and if you're into fertilizing (which, you know, has its pros and cons) then IFA's 4-step system is a pretty slick way to get enviable grass. This store is one of the smaller ones in the area but for sure they've moved things around and made more space as it's an entirely different setup than it used to be in that original review. I thought ten years ago that they may struggle to make a go in Draper as more and more rural, agricultural land becomes housing, but they're still there kicking making the most of their square footage. It's a very compressed garden area (but lots of the bulk materials are stored out front) with just a few small aisles dedicated to the thing you love them for: tack and saddle goods, beekeeping supplies, birdfeeders and seed, kitchen materials, and many more. They don't have a huge clothing section, but there's still plenty of warm and durable work clothes there if that's what you're after. I'm very pleased to report that the chicks are in for 2021. They're adorable. But I caution you that unless you really mean it (and are buying the heat lamp, and feeder, and have a coop plan) just pass on them because having chickens is a big deal, and not an impulse buy. But yes, DO go and look at them. If given my choice, I'd probably go to the IFA in American Fork once a week, but this mini version in Draper is also a nice substitute when you need some seeds, or weed killer, or that fertilizer. Or a saddle. Or boots. Or BBQ equipment. Or...
