Enabling the mass surveillance tracking of private citizens by feeding ALPR data - a poorly secured technology proven to track more than just license plates - into nationwide surveillance databases is an unacceptable invasion of customer privacy and a blatant means of sidestepping our 4th Amendment rights. I'm taking my business to local hardware stores that don't track their customers and support mass surveillance at the behest of the government. My review extends to the greater scope of Lowe's as a corporate entity and the issue I take with their decision making from my perspective as one of their customers. I encourage others to thoroughly look into this matter to form their own opinions and determine if they too would like to continue their patronage.
