Once again, this location has demonstrated they just don't care about customer service. I picked up a few things and headed to checkout. I still needed a key made from their minute-key kiosk, but it only accepts EXACT change. I only had cash on me, large bill. When I got to checkout, I was "greeted" by Mary. I asked if there was a live cashier clerk because I needed to break change. With great exaggeration, she pointed at the empty self checkout kiosks saying she's sure there's plenty of open registers. But that wasn't my question, and didn't appreciate her trying to be a smart a-- about it. I clarified, I needed to break change to use the key kiosk. She then condescendingly claimed the self-checkout registers have the option of HOW change is given. That isn't even a thing..., and when I tried to explain this to Mary, she threw her hand up in the air and told the associate next to her, "I JUST CAN'T. YOU DEAL WITH *THIS*!" And walked away. How incredibly rude... The other associate was very kind and helped check me out at the register. When asked what Mary's problem was, he said, "She's just in a mood...". This is never an acceptable answer. Why in the world would the manager place someone with such horrible people skills to help at checkout...that requires interaction with customers? Search her name in the reviews, and you'll see that another yelper had a very similar experience. I did speak with a manager on the floor, Owen, but who knows if anything will be done. Hanh, the old Asian dude that works in the plumbing/sink department is awesome !!! After going to Ace Hardware and being told they did not have the garden hose to PVC fitting that I needed to repair my lawn sprinkler, I went to Home Depot and talked to Tejas in isle 6 after searching for the fitting that the website said there were 60 of this part. He knew his part of the store because he immediately came back to me where I was waiting for him, sitting on my walker, with one. I asked him if he would please bring me another one and he immediately went and got me another one. I thanked him for his good customer service, then I said, "will you please direct me to the glue." He did me one better and brought the can over to me along with a bag to carry these items to the cash register. I got to the cash register where Jonathon was waiting for me. He rang these items for me, put my money into the machine for me and gave me my change and my items in another plastic bag. I thanked him for doing all of that for me, since I was sitting on my walker at that time. I asked both of these employees names because I like to give credit where credit is due. I was working on a project at home, and needed to stop by the hardware department. I was hesitant, since my last prior experiences were unpleasant in the "Gardening department". I decided to avoid the Gardening department ( I thought , but couldn't resist what was new ). I was so happy & excited I re-visited the department. I was so excited with my selection. I stopped by this Home Depot this morning to look at their Halloween decorations and also to get a recessed outlet plug. But my main interest here this morning was to look at their Halloween animatronics. It's basically right in the front when you enter the store so you'll have to step on the try me button because it's contagious. I really like the soul catcher animatronics and deciding if I should buy it. After I finish checking out their Halloween stuff, I went and got the recessed outlet. The pool was sick looking. RN that I am, my mind equates it to a nasty UTI. My friend Anna is perpetually handy and knew what to do. We had to bleach the walls. I called one rental service before calling Home Depot and was quoted $99/day to for the pump. Before calling this HD in Stanton, I called the closer HD multiple times and nobody answered. I received prompt assistance with one call at this location. It's Just under $62 to rent here. That was an easy choice. HD also Carries the bleach we needed. I bought 4 cases of the stuff. I wish I could tell you the brand. It came two jugs per case. The pump fits in the hole at the base of the pool. It was simple to drain in about 13 hours. Easy working with HD. read more

Home Depot sucks that's all there is to it. Products they sell or junk I recommend you go to the manufacturer to buy the same item at Home Depot supposedly sells. They make you think it's the same but it's not do a little googling and you'll figure it out on your own . They don't stock half of anything you need . The pipe fittings they sell are complete garbage. The cabinets they sell, are garbage. The list goes on everything is subpar. I was heading to Home Depot to get some supplies to repair some fiberglass screens on a few of our windows. I did my research ahead of time on their website and knew what aisle to go to pick up the supplies. I bought a kit and a roll of fiberglass screen to supplement with replacing the other window screens. In addition, I saw a sale on Ortho Home Defense spray and grabbed a bottle. Needed to rent an appliance dolly for a recent move. Rental department staff were nice, helpful, and got me in and out quick and painless.

This is specifically for the guy in the rental department from two days ago. I inquired about a cement mixer to rent and he was rude as can be. He was sitting in a chair watching a younger gentleman repair something, and maybe he just needed to go home, take a nap; maybe have someone cuddle him, and kiss his forehead, but he was a pure a- hole. I'm surprised he has a job treating customers that way. I've been helped by others at this store who all deserve five stars, because they were super nice, friendly, and pleasant to be around. My mom and I stopped by today during the Labor Day event looking to replace our broken refrigerator and washer. We found well-rated appliances at a great deal. Some of them dont even know where their products are located. If you really know what to grab in which aisle, you should be fine. Bad experience with Gonzo and Jon the assistant manager. Was told a items was not only on clearance but also 20% off that. When I came back to purchase the items I was then told oh the 20% don't apply. So I asked to speak to the manager and long story short he made me wait for a 20 minutes then would not hour what his employee stated. Tried to convince me he didn't say that then when I confronted Gonzo about what he has stated he claimed not to have made the statement. Also Gonzo tried to get loud and be aggressive towards me and the manager Jon allowed his action for a few minutes before telling me I was the aggressor. All in all horrible experience with these guys. They just seem to have a power trip.
