Also can get pro level power tools here--that's why there are so many professionals going here daily to get tools, parts, accessories, and materials for their jobs. Picked up a few items from this store last week... LED bulb replacement for my ceiling fan light (adjustable white), fly traps of various kinds (from liquid bait to sticky traps, eager to get rid of these pesky critters), heavy duty swiffer dusters specifically for pet dander (cuz, ya know, the cuteness overload of my bunnies comes with a price). Just a bunch of random stuff I needed, conveniently available in one place, the Home Depot near the great mall in Milpitas. Finding what I needed wasn't difficult, as I'm familiar with the general area for different products. I did ask an employee for help to confirm the size and type of bulb I was looking for, and he not only confirmed, he offered to help me carry my desired merchandise to the front register, as he saw me carefully balancing a stack of items in my arms. I truly appreciate the effort. Self checkout was a breeze as usual, minimal interaction with staff needed, and I was in and out in no time. read more

I like seeing things in person, so we stopped by this Home Depot to take a look at their 30" ones. The ones that interested me are above. I'm leaning towards the Moorside, but in the 30". I like having a drawer. Since it's at the bottom versus the top, there isn't a giant hole in the center for the plumbing and sink. I didn't mind the design of the Everdean ones, but the finish and fixtures kinda looked cheap. The Brindley is a great deal. In the running as well due to the price. I'm not into the barn door design, but hey, it's less than $200 and for a rental, I can deal. We were also here to grab a tile for the top of a foot bench, rest, stool, etc. I have no idea what it is called. The hubs is building a stand up shower, so I asked for a corner foot rest type thing to make shaving easier. He decided to build a triangle like bench into the shower. We are doing wood tile for the stand up shower, so he wanted a white-ish tile on top for the foot thingy. I really hate to pan this Home Depot in my own town. I really want to like it, and inside the Home Depot itself, the people and the selection are great. I get orders delivered from this Home Depot all the time to my house. The problem is the fact that it shares almost all of its usable parking with the Great Mall. Half the parking that's dedicated to this Home Depot is filled with equipment they rent, large items they sell, or other things that take up parking spaces. So, more than 90% of the time, if you go here to get something, you have to park in the shared mall parking. Which, because the Great Mall is so busy, you can expect will be horrible and take a huge amount of your time to find a space. If you go to pick up stuff from this place, order it online so you can park in the 3-5 dedicated pickup parking spaces marked for Home Depot. Then you can park, go in, and get out. For casually going to look for things you need to buy from a Home Depot, this place is horrible. So, basically, 5 stars for selection, cleanliness, and the people who work here. I've never had a bad experience with any of that, and I've lived near this Home Depot for 28 years. BUT, 1 star for parking and all the frustration that goes with everything you have to do before you walk into this Home Depot. I was going to give it 2 stars, but I'll knock it up to a 3 because all the pluses really do outweigh a lot of the negative of the parking. read more

Walked through the store twice looking for a container, walked by several employees no one ever said hello to me or asked if I needed help I kept seeing them acknowledging other customers even when checking out the person next to me was walked to the register and helped them check out their one product as I was carrying 3 huge storage containers, now I don't know if I looked poor or something else but worse experience so far for this store. read more

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Be warned when buying appliances from them. Ordered a new fridge and schedueld for delivery Sat 3-7p. Had to take the day off work to wait for the delivery. At 5:28p, receive a text that my order is 2 stops away. At 6pm - received a call that my delivery is cancelled. Agent told me that my fridge was never in stock! I'm in shock at this point as i'm "supposed" to be 2 stops away from receiving my fridge and shouldn't they know if my fridge was not on their truck?! Called customer service and was told they can reschedule me for Monday 12-4p. Monday morning, at 7:54a, I receive a call to reschedule my delivery. I told the agent that my delivery was already rescheduled to today, Monday 12-4. Agent noted thats a mistake. We don't have any records of that and our schedule is already booked solid. Agent then rebooked me for Thurs - timing TBD. Such a complete waste of time. I would have been better off renting a truck and picking up the fridge myself. read more

I had 2 things on my shopping list when I went to the Home Depot at the Great Mall. I learned one item had to be ordered on line. The 2nd item was eye bolts to hang some clothes lines in my yard. I found a two pack of them, marked $1.38 (photo). When I checked out they rang up at $1.47 (photo of receipt). This represents a modest 6.5% increase. I had some of the most AMAZING customer service yesterday! It didn't start out as well as it ended up going though. I'll get to that at the end of this review as I want to make sure that mentioning AIDEN and BOB outside working the Christmas Tree area were AMAZING and a half! They went so far above and beyond that I'm here writing this review! They noticed a bunch of browning areas on my tree that I hadn't and their entire willingness to help my family out far surpassed anyones that I've ever had in retail! They made sure to ask how much I wanted trimmed off my fresh cut tree.. Gave me my little trunk piece (I collect those each Christmas) and carried the tree to my van. They were so nice.. And I will buy my tree from this location every year as I have for the last 8 years or so! People like Aiden and Bob aren't the norm anymore and because of that, I had try let everyone know. They deserve recognition for their superior customer service! Thank you guys for making our little family tradition of selecting a Christmas tree such a great one!! They even got a photo for us! Thank you a million times for going above and beyond!! I had called and spoke to someone in CS inquiring about their price matching policy which I saw online but wanted 5th verify. The women on the phone knew nothing about it and told me that they don't price match. She proceeded to ask someone else who verified that they DO NOT. I knew that didn't sound right and a little irritated, I decided to go in and see in person for myself. I immediately asked for a manager and happened to already be talking to a supervisor.. This store is the only reason the Great Mall is still open. I get yelled at at Home Depot a lot. They are rude and dismissive. The commercials on TV from the 90's don't apply and have never applied. I have in fact never seen anyone treated as in the commercials, unless you're at the appliance department considering an entire kitchen reno. Eventually, they're going to have a Home Depot vending machine. If you think that's a gigantic joke, you wait until you see some of those things you can 3D print at home. read more

I showed him my plumbing fixture and asked for his help. He just outright told me they don't have the replacement fixture & he doesn't know how to remove it too. I ordered a 30 gallon stand up Dewalt air compressor online from the Home Depot website and had them ship it to this location. When we came to pick it up there was a lot of confusion as to where we could park to load it in the back of the truck. Finally I convinced and employee to let me park near the loading zone. After picking up the compressor we took it back to work and fired it up unfortunately it literally fell apart within 30 seconds of it starting up!!! Then stopped working completely!! Having a lost complete confidence in this air compressor and not wanting to return it for another we took it back to the Home Depot where there was no questions asked and they refunded our money without any hassles read more

This is absolutely ridiculous. I bought a dryer and it doesn't function. They give me a replacement, still doesn't work and was told to clean my vents. So I did, the dryer still doesn't work. Technician comes and says dryer wasn't cleaned. So I personally clean the dryer vents. Dryer still doesn't work. I contact Home Depot text services and they just disconnect. Wtf This is beyond frustrating, wish I never got a new dryer. read more

Okay, so I'm not sure if they've recently hired only awesome people at this Home Depot, but we certainly encountered our share during our recent visit!! Shout out to the Asian woman, Cathy, at the front (self-checkout) area. She was SO friendly, so kind, and so patient. A special shoutout to the two Asian women working the returns desk too! They were both so helpful. Another HUGE bonus for us was the fact that the majority of the staff at this location were wearing masks (minus the one younger staff lady who ironically was hacking up a storm and coughing like there was no tomorrow). We appreciate, in this day and age, customer service that is conscientious. We are an immunocompromised family, so outings are always masked for us, and to come to a Home Depot and see 90% of the employees wearing masks in May of 2025...? BIG BIG THANKS! The prices here are great, the customer service was outstanding, and we will definitely be back. read more

THE STAFF HERE ARE HORRIBLE! I came here to look for a fence to install on my patio. I wasn't sure which aisle it was located. The first gentleman I asked told me what I needed the fence for with an attitude. SERIOUSLY? You don't need a reason. After that, he told me it's located at the 2nd last aisle. He could just had given me the aisle number. When I was ready to do self check out, the lady told me the lane is not working so I had to jump in the next one. She wasn't really friendly either. Absolutely horrible customer service. Went in with my buddy to get an exterior door for his new house and we found one that he likes. The one on the shelf is dusty and have excessive adhessive on the window side. We saw one on the top shelve that looks more brand new, but we need someone to get it down. No associate at the desk area, we spread out and look for 5 minute. Finally found a merchandiser and i only wanted him to get me someone with the certification to get the door down for me. He ignored me once and then went to find that person on my second ask. Once that person is found, the forklifter said the door was in good condition, but I still disagree and I dont think there's much harm in grabbing the newer one on the top. This is a door that will last decades on the new house, i want the best of the best. But my friend was ok with it since it already took too long to find someone that could help. Upon hearing that, the forklifter immediately walked away without asking if we need help getting the door to the cart. Like buddy, this is your job, you're getting paid to get parts off the shelf. At least have the decency to help us get the door to our cart. I don't expect too much from home depot associates, but this guy is truly going up ans beyond to break my expectation read more

I placed an order for curbside pickup today and I didn't realize they had a cut off time for curbside pickups. Cut off time for curbside pickup is at 6pm and my order was ready by 7pm, due to me having a fractured toe I was unable to get off and pick up in store. I gave them a call and a worker by the name of Jayden answered. He was understandable about my situation and was kind enough to offer me a curbside pickup even after the cut off time! At 6:55pm/7:10pm on 8/22/2023, Home Depot in Milpitas. I was shopping for garden bricks in this location and pushing my cart with only 4 different pieces of brick to a cashier to check out for me. The cashier refused to look for each of the unit prices from the price list on the monitor and instead asking customers to walk back to garden center to screen photo the unit prices to solve her problem! Is this how this corporate management teaches their cashier not to solve customer issues or give hassle their customers? She is the only cashier (white/ Latina, 5'7" tall, long blonde hair, mid/late 20s, chubby) standing in the register lane at that time and when I said to her "shouldn't be your job duty to look for the unit prices?" then she simple ignored my cart/bricks by pushing it aside and scanned the customers' orders behind me. I then asked to speak with a manager, she called but no manager come out to solve the issue and I was standing waiting for 20 minutes for nothing. This store does not provide any customer service or good manner. The staff don't even greet customers or ask if you need any help. Why would this Hone Depot hire people to ask customers to solve problems for them and being irresponsible when there is a customer service complaint? Customers spend money and corporate hire cashier, store managers, staffs there doing nothing but to pocket paychecks and command customers to do their jobs? Customers should buy stuff online so they don't need to suffer with this type of bad customer service or attitude from the local staff! read more

Unbelievably rude and ignorant staff, never faced that before in any other locations. Waited for help to load heavy staff for 20 minutes, nobody showed up. The guy in appliances section just pretend he doesn't see me, while I stood alone for a while. Then he started to shout and be aggressive, to explaining his point of view, what customers must do and what they do not. Ours jaws dropped - never experienced this kind of service anywhere in any shop around. That indicates the only one thing - Lowe's lost their quality of service. read more

Came to by one simple item a small item at that and Home Depot is such a large hardware store it's easy to get confused, looked at signage for directions but again such a large hardware store. I did asked an associate for help and he gave me such attitude for asking for help for such a minor item which was a closet ring for the wooden stick to hold clothes, sends me down an aisle and literally nuts and bolts and door latches. Asked another associate that was more helpful and finally found what I was looking for, just feels like customer service in not that stores forte (Milpitas great mall) as no associate wanted to walk me to the aisle and point out to me the items. I did notice that they have signes for a downloadable app the will show you exactly were items are but then if your not a regular shopper why do you need the app when you can ask associate (you would think) miss the mom and pop hardware stores from back in the days. read more

The person that dropped it off didn't wait for me to come out and rang the door bell and left quickly. So I could not open the box in front of him so that we could see if there is any damages. Very disappointed and i even came in person to handle the situation. So it ended with wilson saying in order for the exchange to drop it off I have to pay 79$ to drop off the other fridge and 79$ to pick it up the damage one. When I need appliances, my go to is Lowes. But I wanted to see the GE stove and microwave/hood before I bought and Home D had it on the floor. From past experience, HD is great IF you are a knowledgeable DIYer. While the employees are nice, if you need advice/info, you will be disappointed. Do your own research about the appliance you want, verify the model # they order to make sure it meets your requirements. In my case, the item ordered was not correct so I had to return the next day to fix it. The appliance person had me help her find YouTube videos to explain how an OTR micro vents...sometimes you just gotta laugh when things get absurd. And then you gotta leave and come back again when the next shift arrives. Delivery was delayed a week due to the correction. So watch your Youtube vids at home, do your own research, take notes and just accept that you will be making multiple trips to Home Depot no matter what.... read more

This review is for the kids workshop that they offer. I took my kids (6 & 12 yo) for the first time today. I was invited by a friend.... I was a little hesitant at first because I wasn't sure if my little one would be interested, but I am so happy I decided bring them. The work shop is held in the back of the store from 9am to noon. You pick up a kit and start working individually, at your own pace. The have staff members there is assistance is needed. Tables were set up but as it got more crowded people had to sit on the floor to do their projects, some people took there kits home. Everything you need is provided like a hammer and paint, etc. Today we built a Christmas countdown calendar, which was perfect for holiday. It was easy enough to do with my 6 yo and interesting enough for my 12 yo who seemed to also enjoy the project. It took us about an hour to complete our projects. Such a fun thing to do with the family and the best thing about it is that it is FREE! read more

I know, I know, I'm writing a review for Home Depot. What is there to write about right? Amazingly, there is a lot to write about. The parking here is terrible because it shares a parking lot with the Great Mall, one of the busiest malls on the weekends. I would completely avoid this Home Depot at all costs if going on a weekend, otherwise be prepared to compete for parking. Everything else is the same really, it's huge and pretty much has everything you need. I didn't run into any problems with customer service. The employees here are really good about pointing you in the right direction. I used self check out, and it was fast and easy! I probably wouldn't come back to this location in the near future, but most likely to another location! read more

This review is based upon a bait and switch operation and extremely poor customer service by which Home Depot disregarded my store receipt and thus overlooked a 78 year old Black woman's request for appropriate business service. - I purchased blinds on sale for $328.20. I received an email of my order with a price of $895. HD told me that the sale ended prior to the submission of the order and HD would not honor my receipt. HD suggested that very similar blinds were on sale. So a supervisor resubmitted my original order with a new company. However, the price was $643.38. I signed the order and left the store. However when the blinds were installed they were cordless - my original order included cords to raise and lower the blinds. When I informed HD that the person submitting my order did not not tell me that the blinds were changed from corded to cordless, I was told that I signed the new order and HD would not correct this situation for me. I would need to pay for new blinds. read more
