Product stock from website

Hate it when the website shows a product in stock the number and the location then when you drive there, there are none to be found. When you ask why you get a bunch of bs stories. And when you add a review to the website it doesn't upload... Just keep your website current! I'll be shopping at Ace next time

I went to Home Depot because I needed a part. Actually I needed a few parts and then my project would be that much closer to being complete. Digging four trenches for drain tiles was the project and I needed several downspout adapters. This was going to be a quick trip, I knew what isle they are located in, and I was going to be quick, real quick. Grab what I need and head to the self checkout and pay with the fastest means possible not a bag full of pennies, nor a check, I was paying via credit, or US debit, a card. I know how to use self checkout, I don't require assistance using the self checkout and I can get through that process quickly, just like this trip was going to be. I knew if I made this stop a quick one I could finish the project tonight, not tomorrow, but today. I was so excited. Daylight fading, let's do this! Here we go as I approached the Depot for my Home, I pulled into my selected parking area and proceeded to walk towards the doors that slid apart as I approached revealing millions of products from light bulbs garden hoses of varying colors to Toro lawn mowers. Toro, the official lawn mower of The Masters (Masters.com) and Augusta National Golf Club (Augusta.com). I walked briskly to the isle that held the parts I needed and as I stood there in front of the display it immediately became evident that I had work to do. The display that held the downspout adapters unfortunately is archaic at best. I couldn't reach them, I needed my arm to be 5 feet longer to reach deep into the dark abyss of a display to grab what I needed. Ugh. This was not going as planned. As I tried to reach for what I needed I said "Go go gadget arm" but still I wasn't able to reach what I needed. Again I said with more conviction "Go go gadget arm!" Nothing. I needed assistance but I didn't want to look for help that seemed like such a time killer and I wasn't able to grab a claw to move some of the adapters closer. Who knows what isle the claws are in, there are thousands of isles and off the top of my head I cannot remember seeing the claw isle. Whoever designed this display, it sucks. I just wanted to go. Go I did, somewhere else.

I'm sure a majority of adults have stepped into a Home Depot at some point in their lives. This is your typical store. It's been there for a fairly long time, sharing a large strip mall with Walmart and PetSmart. On this trip I was shopping for paint and paint supplies. The employe helping me in the paint department and offered great advice on what brushes/rollers would work best for the paint I was purchasing. Overall I was satisfied with my experience and I will be back the next time I need something for the home.

Cashiers were fast to check us out in line. They have ample parking and everything we wanted was in stock besides one item.

This is an excellent Home Depot. They are slightly understaffed, but the employees they have are quite helpful.

The shishito peppers were so sweet and tangy in the bacon jelly and cheese and oozed with goodness! The steak and chicken were such a great combo to share between my husband and I with both being such different profiles of taste and actually complimented one another. The steak itself was absolutely perfect and the bread under soaked up all those juices so you didn't have to lick the plate after (great ingenuity when dining out :)) The desserts were fantastic but the star of the show was def the raspberry blondie. It was everything I imagined and more. The perfect sweet and tart mixed in a bowl with spoons ... thank you for not plating this - I felt like I was at home about to sit on the couch and indulge in something I created. Perfect experience, perfect presentation and to top it off their restaurant is surrounded by their farm. Tomatoes, jalapeños, peaches, peppers, micro greens, greens, herbs..... with everything going on today in this world and every thing being recalled this is a place I can stand behind doing it the right way! Service the phenomenal, food was perfection and atmosphere was next to none.... Thank you so much for such an amazing dinner out!

Richard S, Your…read moreresponse confirms the central fact of my review: I purchased $1 worth of merchandise (2 rubber washers) with a debit card, and your employee added $2 in "labor" solely to bring the transaction up to your $3 minimum, even though no additional labor or service was performed. Instead of addressing that, you are attempting to make my reaction the issue. I walked into your store to make a purchase. I did not walk in yelling at anyone. I became angry only after I questioned the charge, called the store and was hung up on, and then returned and was treated dismissively. You are focusing entirely on my eventual reaction while conveniently omitting what caused it. Saying that I "could have walked out" also misses the point. You charged my debit card $2 for "labor" that was never performed. Your own response acknowledges why the $2 was added. I am not asking you to agree with my interpretation of the applicable debit-card rules. I am perfectly willing to let the appropriate consumer-protection authorities and payment-card network determine whether this practice complies with their requirements. And taking a shot at me for misspelling the store's name rather than addressing the substance of the complaint only reinforces the attitude I described in my original review. This was never about $2. It was about how the $2 was charged and how a customer was treated after questioning it. I stand by my review.

This location was originally the location for one of the corporate hardware chains that pulled out several years ago. It is now run independently by a family team. It's one of those locations where you wouldn't be surprised to see a Fatfender pickup or two parked in front. Sure, you may pay a couple of extra cents for some items, still a fair value for the convenience, but not enough to drive you to the anonymous experience at a big box. It's exactly what a local hardware store should be: organized, stocked with quality tools, and staffed by people who actually know how to fix things. I came in for a specific project and instead of just pointing me to an aisle, the staff took the time to talk through the repair with me, saving me a second trip and a lot of frustration. It's clear they care about the community and their craft. Whether you need a screen repaired, a key cut, or just some honest advice, skip the drive to the giant retailers and support this local gem. Home Depot is okay everything I need it easy to find when will taken care of at the checkout…read morecounter. They have sanitizer you can use when you come in, they are very helpful, and they stand far away, and you feel safe. This Home Depot is the closest to my home, which makes it the most convenient. There are also a Menards and Lowes about the same distance away. As with all of the large 'big box' stores the sock is about the same and at similar price points. The choice of which store brand to go to depends on several considerations. They are: what exactly I am looking for - the stores carry different brand names or different variations of stock - more sizes or colors, etc., and finally which store has the best customer service. The single largest issue at all of these stores is aisle space, cluttering, blocking, mobile access stairs and free-standing selling displays. For example, today I had to turn around and go down a different aisle twice, in the middle of the day, no huge crowds just displays and stocking blockages. The stores are convenient and the prices generally mirror the quality of the products.
