I am not a handy person and do not really do home improvement or DIY stuff. To say I am intimidated and overwhelmed with all the stuff here is an understatement. I was first sent here to get a new faucet for my kitchen sink and new lock for the front door by my handywoman who was doing the minor home repairs for me. I spent 2-3 hours in here being confused by all the choices. Thank goodness for google and WiFi and reviews. I finally bought something. Subsequently I came back here several times to get screwdrivers, checking out bathroom light fixtures and other stuff. Still not my favorite activity. Then I needed to get a new refrigerator. Again I probably looked like a fish out of water here. As I have limited space for the fridge, my choices are somewhat limited. Thankfully a staff (Evelyn) came over to assist me. She was knowledgeable and made recommendations based on my requirement. And yay! I made a purchase. It was out of stock then and would only be delivered about 2 months later. That was fine with me. She was also very patient with me when I discovered my new credit card was declined and I had to call the bank to get it verified (bank's way to combat fraud as this was a huge purchase on a new card). It was a great experience overall. The delivery experience itself was not that great but since it was subcontracted out to another company, it was not Home Depot fault. It has been over 6 months with my new fridge and it is working great! No complaints about it and I love my fridge and faucet and things I have bought here. All are working well.

Out of all the Home Depot's in the Lower Mainland, this is the location I usually come to, why you ask, well for one it is close to where I live. I actually am in the middle of this one and the one near Terminal and Clark and I just find this one easier to get to, and easier on parking. When you come here there is always a ton of parking, and we are not talking about going far where you have to haul all your heavy items in a cart a far way to get out and leave. You are free to roam around, and if you are one who likes to do things around the house, you may roam a long time, as it is 'Home Deopt', and that means big in size, and with this location, everytime I have come here it is never busy, so you can gaze aimlessly at items you can dream you had at your home to work in, or a reno project your working on. The help here has always been pretty good in guiding you to the direction of what your mind is looking for. The staff, the ones I have me, know the layout of the store quite well, you could be in lighting, and if you were to ask for a hook to hang your pictures, they would know which isle to go to get this small hook. Also if there ever is a sale on things, like when I come here for my mom for cheap bags of planting soil, they will have stock, as the hoarders go to that other location I mentioned to you above. Ease of parking, stuff in stock, that's why I come here.

Alex in the flooring department is lovely. Helped me choose a carpet and underlay within 20 minutes. I paid a $60 deposit and then a few days later someone came to measure the area. I received an email with the exact costs and then came into the store to pay the rest. Furniture is moved for us and carpet/underlay will be removed and is included in the price. Very good service on the store front. Will update review when carpet is installed.

Like this one b/c it's a stand alone compared to that circus in Rmd where everyone's turning into one big lot w/ Future Shop, Office Depot & Mcdonalds lol. Lots of parking. Came here to get some real offensive attack on possible mice nest in my garage; as receipt shows, I wasn't hesitant into spending whatever it takes lol. The worker there really knew his stuff--kudos to him for knowing this b/c it sure scared the heck out of me; yes, i'm not fond of rats/mice, who are? not even mickey mouse i dread...anyways, i digress... Guy recommended NOT to buy the typical mouse trap w/ the vice that clamps on their neck; one, the bigger it is (both the trap AND mice, the more of a mess, meaning possibly cleaning up the guts, blood, etc. two, germs being airborne, three, not knowing if there's a 'kill' unless you go there to check, & four, you have to physically remove or throw entire trap away. Enough of that. Recommended to get the sticky glue which doesn't kill them but their feet (hopefully) will get glued & won't move--a humane approach. So far, in past month or so, haven't seen a mice so far. Which leads me to the next purchase: sonic plug-ins, which emit an annoying sound to deter them from settling in & hopefully for them to get the heck out of dodge. Just plug one per room but heck, i plugged in THREE to get them all out lol so far so good!!!

At this the cashier said (in a slightly rude tone) that I could not bring items from inside the store and pay in the garden center.

DO NOT EVER DEAL WITH THEM IN ANY WAY!!!!!!! Would give 0 if possible…read more We bought 2 Reverie adjustable bed bases. They were floor models - one was over 4 years old! That's not a floor model, it's just plain a used bed and not within reason. If we had been told that, we would not have wasted money on it. There were a significant number of damaged and missing parts. One base was broken in the corner. The remotes did not work properly and the bed would not go to same setting each time even though programmed into the remote when designed. The 'flat' settine set head of bed tilted extra 3 inches to floor. I contacted customer service with a detailed list of everything. Their response was that was what we should expect for a floor model - damaged, missing parts and not working. Nothing was missing according to the warehouse employee. So much for honesty. The final solution was customer service emailing me a copy of the missing manuals. DO NOT EVER DEAL WITH THEM IN ANY WAY!!!!!!!

How did NO ONE catch this error? The rep at the store owned up to the mistake but then said we had to pay for the missing box spring. Not only that, but the delivery drivers refused to take away our old mattresses after we were specifically told they were going to. What a joke. The sales person was incompetent and very clearly willing to lie to make a sale.

The lot is quite lumpy and hilly, but there are at least a dozen spots. The temporary store is probably 1/3 the size of the original store, so they've gotten rid of all the non pharmacy stuff. However, there is still a small section with electronics, and they still do passport photos. Hopefully they finish the new store soon, though it'll probably be at least a year.

That's right, this is probably now the only London Drugs in the lower mainland that does not have a computer department. Come to think of it, this LD doesn't even have an insurance department to get your Autoplan. I hear that eventually down the road, they will be moving this location, to where, who knows, but it is still a place I frequently come to, as it is close. They have a huge free parking lot behind the place, and if you want to park a little closer, there is enough spots on the street. There's many businesses, and food options around this London Drugs too, so in essence, your really not just walking this store when you come to this neighborhood.
