Finished product tile.. Now to clean up and paint the walls..

Since this store first opened they have come around full circle. Every project we have hired them to do for us has been spotless. There was a little miscommunication with the luxury flooring as far as them having it sitting when it was suppose to be delivered but that was all worked out and they got us moved up with their installers. We had GS Flooring which is their sub contractor for flooring they use. We had our bathrooms done years ago and now finally got the rest of our first floor completed and it absolutely looks fabulous!! The crew with GS Flooring was so fantastic!! Cannot honestly say enough about them! The guys worked hard and were completely done in 2 days with no messing around. We got the Lifesource Flooring which is Home Depot's exclusive brand. Looks fabulous! I'll post some after pics after everything is all cleaned up and back in place.

The Bolingbrook Home Depot is just south of Boughton & Weber, they've got all your gardening, lumber and DIY supplies

APPETITE FOR CONSTRUCTION Buy lubricant for your Guns N' hand pruners for your Roses at the friendly Bolingbrook Home Depot. A new house means lots of DIY projects, which means endless trips to buy hardware, lumber, mulch, and just about anything else. This Home Depot is off of Weber Rd, about 2 blocks south of Boughton. The shopping floor is cavernous but there's enough staff scattered around to help in case you get lost. They have a good selection of charcoal, natural gas, and propane grills from high-end names like Weber as well as more affordable options like the six burner Nexgrill ($350) we settled on. It was simple to assemble and has already given us several great cookouts! We'd definitely recommend the Nexgrill brand. We've also purchased a hanging light fixture ($225), a Ryobi 6-in-1 power tool kit ($200), a couple of floral outdoor pillows ($50), an air compressor ($35) and misc. painting supplies ($50). In the next few weeks, we'll probably buy a Ryobi lawn mower ($260) and a trimmer/leaf blower set ($100) too. When we bought the grill, Joey helped us out at the register and was kind enough to knock $25 off of the purchase price due to the box being damaged. After checkout he radioed for loading assistance but no one showed after 5-6 minutes, so he came out and did it himself. Thanks for picking up your coworkers' slack, Joey, you da real MVP! * TL;DR * Time will tell if we split our business between Home Depot and the nearby Loews or come here exclusively from now on (it'll probably be an 80/20 thing). Their garden section is stocked with a nice variety of perennials and annuals, prices are competitive and they run deals on tools throughout the year. So far so good. You know we'll be back.

I am remodeling my house and have to come here several times a week, sometimes even several times a day. I've been to just about every department at this store. Recently I came to buy some flooring and needed help finding out if they had more of the floor that I was buying in stock. I found a gentleman and he scanned the barcode and said there were 30 boxes, but the shelf only had 18. He said that the lady in charge of the flooring department could help me find them. I searched for that person and couldn't find them. The store seemed deserted. When she finally appeared after 10 minutes of me wandering, she said that sometimes the system has the wrong number. So since I couldn't buy enough of them, I had to drive to another location. The other Home Depot (Naperville) had like 5 people working in flooring and I was able to get the help I needed.

It is safe to say that I visit this Home Depot at least twice a week. I am remodeling my house little by little and come here and use every single department. Even though other construction stores are in the area I often go to Home Depot because of the wide selection. One small tip is that in the very back they often times I have lumber spray-painted with purple meaning that it is marked down 75%. You can oftentimes pick out really good pieces for really cheap. Also be on the lookout for tools that go on sale. Especially the set of tools from Dewalt and other brands. I know that some Home Depot locations do not have contractor parking but this one does. It is also convenient that you can email receipts to yourself so you can keep track of remodeling costs on your computer.

I always have a great experience here and the staff is always very helpful. This past visit I was in the lumber department getting cuts for a large project my father is going to build for me and the staff there was great. I gave them a list of the cuts I needed and the types of wood and molding and they spent an hour plus walking down the aisles with me, helping me get what I needed and cutting things to the right length. Dan was particularly helpful! And watching the wood cutting machines is great fun.

No problems here. I was able to get right in and right out. They had what I needed in stock and check out was fast.

Nobody complained once. This is not a garden center. It is an experience. The grounds are laid out in a way that feels less like retail and more like exploration, with magical little pockets of gardens tucked throughout that pull you deeper in at every turn. Twenty six gardens maintained across the property, each one more beautiful and considered than the last. We were mesmerized, all of us, adults and kids alike, just wandering and discovering in the drizzle like we had nowhere else to be. The plant selection is exceptional with a strong emphasis on natives, which is exactly what we have been hunting for as we plan out our garden for next year. Prices are reasonable and feel fair for the quality of what they carry. But the real story here is the staff. Joanne has worked at The Growing Place for over 35 years and helps maintain those 26 gardens herself. When our daughter bought a rose bush recently Joanne spent genuine unhurried time with her, walking her through exactly how to care for it. That kind of knowledge sharing and patient generosity is rare and it is clearly baked into the culture of this place. Four generations of family ownership spanning nearly 90 years will do that. You can feel the legacy in every corner of those grounds. They also run community events and educational classes for aspiring gardeners of every level. This is a place that genuinely wants you to grow, literally and figuratively. Our new forever garden center. No question.

This is a family owned business with a very knowledgeable staff. They also have a nice gift shop selling garden and home accents and containers. Thru out the year they offer classes and tours as well as seasonal events. The Garlic & Cider event was smaller than we expected with only a handful of vendors. We did end up buying a few succulents plus they gave us a FREE mint plant. With 2 locations, Aurora and Naperville..they have grown into a garden oasis for everyone!

I hadn't been here since last year and came by today, and I was so excited to see the plant section fully stocked with some great houseplants. And the prices on some of the items are more reasonable than they've been in the past, so I was happy to see it. (Though some are still exceptionally high -- a 4" Thai constellation monstera is $99, versus $39 at Home Depot for the exact same size, which I also went to this morning). I snagged a 5-inch "swiss cheese" for $17, which isn't too bad (and is actually cheaper than the comparable one at Home Depot this morning -- go figure). I love that they have a bunch of small 2" plants too, many for under $4 -- great to try out something new without making a huge investment, or to combine together for an indoor planter box. They have lots of cute planters, garden decor, and other seasonal goods, too. Definitely worth stopping by regularly to see what they have.

Hands-down best place to purchase summer annuals in the Hinsdale / Willowbrook / Burr Ridge area…read more This family-owned establishment (now 3rd generation) is the real-deal. My family has purchased annuals from them for decades. Many of their plants (certainly not all, but many) are grown in-house by their master gardener who has been with them since the 1980s. The plants are always in top-notch condition which you will not find at most other places in this area. These people know about plants -- and more importantly will take the time to help you! They are often crazy-busy in May and June, so if you think you will need help best to get there very early as they are opening so they can help you (by mid-day in high season they are typically swamped). Excellent selection of bedding annuals and perennials, and a fantastic selection of veggie plants -- tomatoes, peppers, cukes, eggplants, melons, etc. Also a large selection of smaller flowering shrub-type plants like hydrangea, butterfly bush, etc. This is not a nursery (it is a greenhouse - six or seven of them actually!), so they do not have big trees or large evergreen type shrubs so if you are looking for those you'll have to shop somewhere else. But if you are looking for annuals, perennials, veggies, roses, or flowering shrubs, this is THE place to go!

I've visited this place four different times, and every single time I've been impressed by the…read morevariety of inventory. It's honestly a hidden gem. I love walking through the store and discovering all the unique items they carry, you can get lost in the sauce for sure. That said, the experience with the staff has consistently been disappointing. Across all four visits, the employees have ranged from cold to outright unfriendly and rude. We usually visit with our kids, and it often feels like our mere presence is an inconvenience. Asking for help or advice seems to irritate them even more, which makes the shopping experience unnecessarily uncomfortable. My wife and I have been debating going back now that spring is here because the inventory truly is fantastic, but we're honestly bracing ourselves for the same salty attitudes we've come to expect. Pricing is also a bit above market value, leaning toward overpriced, though that's becoming more common everywhere these days.
