Yelp! My mother in law needs some mulch! So, My husband is a professional member with Home Depot, so it's a no brainer, off we go to the Home Depot. We get there at 7:10 pm on this Sunday evening and they close at 8 pm. We got time! Well I thought we did? So we ask 2 managers passing by, they say nice go down there where they are working on the other side. Well on the other side was Haley and Brian working. It's obvious, she is ready to go home. She is frustrated and sighing a lot. Even asked, what time is it? I replied 7:20 pm. She was even more irritated that I answered her. So, she went on to leave my husband to load 12, 20lb bags of mulch. Then over cones Brian, he sees my husband loading the mulch alone, so he steps in. He stops what he was doing, helps my husband load the mulch with a smile, then return to his task. Thanks Brian, good service and help should always be commended. And, frustrated employees, ready to go home and not willing to help should always be exposed. Y'all already know, I can detach. But, Bae loves Home Depot.

Aloe plants for $1.50

Picked up a few items today. Been looking for some Aloe plants and found a few. Stopped to look for some herb plants but they didn't have anything I wanted.

My husband and I are fixer uppers and do all our own handwork. Home Depot is great in helping with this task. Unfortunately, they don't always have the parts in stock you need but they do try to help. For this trip I was returning a hose for my kitchen sink spray arm. It did not have all the parts and did not fit. Luckily they are great with returning things that don't fit your project. I recommend Home Depot for easy projects that you know are common. If it is a detailed issue or project you may need help with- I recommend going to a speciality store for that project - for instance washer and refrigeration had the piece we needed for the spray arm.

I've always had great experiences at this location (super helpful staff, especially in the paint center). Today was busy ( it's Saturday so that's expected), but they had plenty of staff working and the check out lines moved quickly (signs out to promote proper social distancing). I came for some of their 5 gallon buckets (can't beat the $3.48 price on those!). They had a great selection of hand sanitizers and antibacterial soaps when you first come in. My real reason for reviewing today though is the BATHROOMS! Low expectations since it's a hardware store but they were SUPER CLEAN! And felt pretty upscale for public bathrooms. Just thought that they should be recognized for this.

This is how they secured granite behind the sink area.

My 8 year old refrigerator was icing up and there was a "factory update" involving a new fan and many related parts. They also diagnosed the problem with my Sub-Zero Beverage Center, ordered parts, removed it and took it back to their shop for repairs. It will take about a week for repairs and re-install. The Technicians arrived on time, worked efficiently, fixed my built-in refrigerator, cleaned up and left - what more can you ask for?

We've used these guy's twice. Let me say if you need Sub Zero service, you call these guys. We used…read moreour Home warranty people to send out service for our Sub Zero. They sent a company out, we paid the $70 service call fee and they paid them 1200.00 (not) to fix the Fridge, they were there and gone in 45 min. We called Prestigious Appliance to come out,....long story short. He replaced the very parts the noodle heads before him said they had replaced, all original parts, still in tact.He had to remove all the shelves, drawers etc...to remove inside back panel, to get to some of the parts....which I never saw the man before do. So, that right there told me, the other guy ripped off the Warranty Co. Now, WE did end up paying $1200.00 out of pocket....but we had some expensive parts replaced, one of which was a compressor.....But, add it up here. .....the fridge stops working and unless you can get someone to your house within the hour to repair it, you're either going to lose the groceries inside, or transfer them to the refrigerator in the garage. Either way it's a big hassle. Then wait 2 weeks for them to come and not repair it. We then have to do this a second time....transport groceries to the garage..go back and forth to the garage whenever you need something out of the refrigerator, the freezer isn't large enough so you end up losing some groceries. So, there's waste of money as well. I don't know about you, but I'd rather spend the money to have it repaired, correctly the first time, than to go through all of that. It is not like you're having to do without a microwave. And spending 1200.00 isn't the same as the $12,000.00 for the Fridge. So, don't go through the aggravation we did for a month before we took control from the warranty company. Simply call Prestigious Appliance to begin with. They are the most knowledgeable guys you'll meet.

What was awful, in my opinion, was their full page of "fine print" full of exceptions to your purchase. In summary, it is not clear to me, what AllSouth Appliance is responsible for, evidently not even "unseen damage" on their newly delivered appliance. Also they claim they are not liable for ANYTHING, at all inside a sealed box they may leave at your home. Oh wait! I was under the impression I would hand over our hard earned $3,000++ in cash or credit card in return for one or more brand new, undamaged, fully operational new appliance! Really, your sealed box could contain yesterday's trash but I am responsible for what's in it, not AllSouth? That's a new one on me! Most companies have warranty companies but I expected a working, pristine, undamaged appliance on day one! The salesperson says she doesn't require customers to sign it, but there is an electronic record it was sent, so I declined their offer and found other companies who sell appliances without that kind of fine print.
