We've been to this…read moremarket a handful of times when visiting Cloudcroft, New Mexico, and have always been very pleased with the stores welcoming environment, it is very cozy and well stocked, lots of things to look at for the whole family. The shop has many cute souvenirs and home goods. I've noticed their fair prices, compared to other stores we have visited. My reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the lack of a welcoming attitude from the owner, I hate to judge someone's attitude on one visit (from this years trip) but this has happened before. Overall, I highly recommend Mountain Magic Market!

They do carry some name brand items like Kuhl, Patagonia, and other mountainous clothing. They did have a clearance area in the back, very small, in the size of a closet. Everything is very tight in this store. Prices are ok compared to other stores and online sites. Staff was good to us. There was a lot of folks in here on this Friday, so they were busy with everyone, trying to be as helpful as they could. It's worth a stop you are passing through.

I ended up with a small Cloudcroft patch and some postcards to commemorate my visit to this visit to the clouds. The clerk was friendly and offered a bunch of stuff on sale, and other New Mexican themed souvenirs and jewelry. Their stuff included rings, pottery, necklaces, and dream catchers. The shop in the downtown area which looks like something out of some wild west street. Parking is easy, there's plenty of spots and is in a pedestrian area which is fun to just window shop.

Tho the price on carved stones and cut geodes weren't what I'd call cheap. Fun place, worth a quick stop at least, even if it's just to say "hi" to Copper, which the staff says a lot of locals do.
