It has the most high quality merch of any tienda in roswelldominic was super helpful kind and informative. he really knows his stuff and they have a choice selection of books id ask for a recommendation if your an enthusiast. such a wonderful experience it was the night before ufo fest 2026 we dropped in. the coolest postcards and artwork on everything. You can feel the attention to detail. we went into every store and this was the best highest quality beautiful artwork merch and best vibes. To us, this was the nicest store in Roswell...so nice we came here twice actually! As soon as you walk into Hangar 209 you are greeted warmly by one of the employees. I believe they even offered us free coffee and they are dog friendly so we were also greeted by some adorable pups! I love that and I especially love any space that makes our dog feel welcome. The vibe and aesthetic are relaxed and luxurious and it's immediately apparent that they're selling very good quality merchandise. I spent a lot of time looking at their custom shirts and sweaters and my husband spent a lot of time looking at their beef jerky. They have a local line called abduction jerky that had an amazing variety of flavors. On our first visit we were still checking out the downtown area so we grabbed some snacks and drinks and headed out but after touring the town a bit more and realizing what a gem this store actually is, we headed back before we ended our day so that we could pick up some more items. How often do you find a shop with ONLY 5 star reviews? This place is a gem. It really feels like they have something for everyone. Came in expecting a coffee house and some gifts. Turns out we were all wrong. Coffee was free. Staff were super friendly. T-shirts and merchandise had a cool art deco future retro feel. She made sure to let us know of any pricing and deals that were going on. There was also coffee to try! My partner and I had went to another store up the road and it was night and day experience - Hangar 209 was better 100%. Great customer service, selection, and overall vibe. Price is good/fair for what you're paying for but for sure not a "budget" option. Quality is great though - shirts I got were comfort colors. The only retail store I visited in Roscoe, and it didn't disappoint! I picked up two shirts, two pairs of socks, and a bunch of stickers. Before stopping in, I checked out their website and thought they had the best selection--and I was right. The customer service was outstanding, and the lady who helped me shared so much interesting history, which I really appreciated. One recommendation I would make is to highlight the history of the New Mexico flag more prominently. The lady who helped me told me about the Zia symbol and its beautiful meaning, which inspired me to buy six or seven of the stickers with an alien face in the middle. I gave them as gifts to my friends, and we all put them on our water bottles. When I explained the meaning behind the design, my friends thought it was so special, too. The prices were great, and the designs on the shirts were so unique and cool. Next time I'm passing through, I'd love to grab some custom socks made by the same people who create those awesome t-shirts. That would be amazing. Perfect little modern shop for everything you thought you'd see going through Roswell! While I was disappointed in the town being... just a town lol; I was very happy to walk into this little shop! Upon stepping inside, it was immediately apparent this shop was different from the rest of the gift shops in downtown Roswell. Hipster. Industrial. Whole different vibe. Obviously made this century, unlike a lot of the town-- ha! A lot of the curios felt more upscale too, from the t-shirts and apparel with new-age designs, to the artesian coffee blends/jerky, to the handcrafted lamps. How is it that this store has such a great selection of Alien themed-apparel, accessories, and information?! Could they be... .... Aliens?!?!? These guys have an extraterrestrial ability to provide some of the coolest alien stuff in the galaxy. They offer t-shirts, stickers, books, coffee, and for some reason- jerky. I can imagine that beef jerky would travel well across the depths of outer space- it's already dehydrated and would do well in the cold vacuum of space. The clerk was friendly and welcoming. They seem to have some sort of conspiracy lean on this store with some seemingly self-published 'zines that advocate for you Sheeple to wake up and tells you what's REALLY going on around here. Worth a visit! By far the best Roswell alien apparel in town. They have their own designs and they are great! We bought shirts for ourselves and nephews. The owner was helpful and kind. I ran into this shop as I was making my way through Roswell, NM. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and offered free local coffee. All the pandemic guidelines were followed, and I was offered assistance by both employees on site. I ended up buying a few shirts and some of their beef jerky for some of my friends back home. They have a great selection of shirts that have their own Roswell spin on them. The mango habanero beef jerky was some of the best I have had. I ended up picking up more bags on the way back home. They also have an online shop, and I was told that the shirts would be on the site in a month or so, since they are just starting to expand their online presence. This is a locally owned shop that now only has souvenirs, but also some pieces created by the local artists. I will definitely be stopping by next time I am in the area; not only to support a local business, but to support a community that is starting to make its much needed comeback. read more
