The most hilarious place to visit in a 200 mile radius~!!!! I love it here. The people and the exhibit are weird. It's a place to sell junk and trinkets. It's not a museum or research center. Just an old fashioned weirdo trying to make a living based off of people's fantasies. This should be coined Roswell's finest~! Access/Roads/Parking: A Private lot. Plenty spaces near the main intersection. The liquor store look a like is puny so pay attentions. Distance: F Far from life. LA is almost 1000 miles away. Costs: A Free. The funky exhibit is per donation basis. Conclusion: Just visit if you are around. Don't make it a point to visit Roswell because of this spot though. Well we went there at opening and it wasn't exactly open. However, like 15 mins or so it opened which was nice. There were two women working there. They offer free photos with aliens which was super neat. It is card only. No cash. They also sell merchandise all alien theme. And the younger woman working the front desk was very sweet and offered us advice on locations. This is near the downtown street. These are photos from the downtown which was all alien theme. We stopped in because it was convenient to parking off Main and Second. They offer some sort of tour but I was shopping for souvenirs for some friends. I did, however, see a family paying for the tour in the back of the store while I was there. The selection includes T shirts, funny mugs, shot glasses, stickers, lighters, fake alien IDs etc. I cannot speak for the content of the tour, but the items were cheap souvenirs that were cheaply made. Don't get me wrong, I got a couple of good items for a very reasonable cost, but had to expand my search to other places because the selection was fairly small. I was also looking for cheaper items, so that wasn't a slam on them- someone has to balance out the overpriced places. Like many touristy places in New Mexico, there is no air conditioning so it was stifling and uncomfortable. Service was a bit awkward, I felt like I was being stared down the entire time I was shopping and then there was very little talking while I was checking out, though she did thank me after I paid. Maybe the creepy vibe is intentional and good for business because of the tour? I'm not sure. Could have been an off day due to the heat. To be completely fair, this was a 3 1/2 star experience, not just 3 stars. Since I see the other reviews are higher and mention the tour is only $2, I would be up for stopping back in and checking out the tour when we pass through next year. Maybe a more comprehensive visit will be more impressive and I can update the rating at that time. read more

The people who I assume were the owners working the counter were so hilarious and friendly. Couldn't stop chatting us up and I'm not real good at wrapping things up with chatty people. The space walk was definitely worth the $2, you can tell someone really put in a lot of effort and creativity in depicting some of the history behind UFO's in the area. It's not a very long tour so take your time, they let you take all the photos you want. The merchandise in the rest of the store was reasonably priced. They don't take a charge card for anything under $5. They had a cool guestbook you can sign where you can see that people have visited this place from virtually all over the world. You will see where I signed: aliens are the shiznit! I picked up an Area 51 security badge, think I'll get to use it before government agents gun me down? hmmm, probably not but it's good fun. read more

When I came here they were closed. My curiosity got the better of me. So I came back the next day. Pretty cool place to check out. It's a black light room with black pen art. Beautiful colors. A very short walk it will take you less than a minute. Entrance fee is $2. The sign says it's open until whenever but the store worker said usually they're closed at 5 pm. I wouldn't go out of my way to see this but there's really not a whole lot to do in Roswell. Not what I expected but the art work was still "stellar" get it? Lol okay never mind! Anyways, if you're looking for something touristy to do...go search for all the aliens, take a tour with researcher Dennis (UFO tours), eat beef jerky and come here too. I would skip the museum but hey you might as well if you're here! But anyways, I am defiantly glad I got to see this. read more

Do not miss this place! The space walk is way too cool not to see. The guy that runs the place seriously loves his job and that's reason enough to go ~ no really you don't understand you have to go and see what I'm talking about. Now we didn't just stay in because it was 500000 degrees outside (but the a/c was a definite bonus) the time he has taken to put this place together is inspiring or worrisome not sure which. The amount of kitchy little alien stuff & useful stuff too ~ i love my water bottle & bottle opener thank you ~ is worth it. The prices aren't too outrageous so you can stock up on gifts for the suckers that missed out. Have a great time & make sure you get your alien buck! You never know when you'll need it! read more

Like everyone says, the Space Walk is cool. It's really short (like...maybe only 2-5 minutes), but it's a very creative way of depicting Roswell's infamous history with extraterrestrials, and so if you're in search of some Roswell weirdness, this place will do nicely. The gift shop is chock full of Roswell-related stuff. The quality of some of the items is questionable (the design on a spinny keychain literally fell off after a couple months of use), but in my experience the T-shirts have been fine. I bought the black shirt with the neon green, alienified New Mexico symbol, and that shirt has been fine for over a year now. Same goes for the mug I bought. If you shop smartly, I don't think you'll have any issues with the durability of the items sold here. I wouldn't say that this little place actually makes a trip to Roswell worth the trip, but if you happen to find yourself in town and you're looking for something to take with you, this is the place. read more

This was lots of fun! Only cost 10 bucks for my family of 5 people to get in, and it was a really well done hallway of detailed black light paintings, all centering around Roswell history. The paintings were very cool, and there were some good uses of spinning paintings and cool shaped silhouettes. The little shop had some cute things, but all very gag alien themed stuff (which was awesome, if you like really cheesy stuff, which I do!) The building is pretty small, and it didn't look like much from the outside (or the inside) but the black light walk itself was well worth it! read more

i came here just to grab a keychain for my friend. This place has a lot of alien themed stuff. The staff is very friendly and they don't hover over you as if you're going to steal something. The selection of gift items were abundant and very creative. i didn't have much time to look at everything since i was on a time crunch. If you looking for some unique souvenir, this is the place to go, all the souvenir shops on the main street have the same stuff, but this place carries some of the local artist's items which is awesome. The owner is friendly and I asked whey two of the same item have different price, he sold me the one I wanted (with higher price label) at the lower price item. read more

Right off the main road, follow the small green alien footprints to the Roswell Space Center. There is a small gift shop right inside and for 2 dollars, you can go in the black light space walk tunnel, which was our main purpose of going there. The lady at the counter told as, "take as many pictures as you like, and stay in as long as you want. Well, we were in there for maybe 4 minutes tops. But hey, it was 2 dollars! There are black light scenes of space, spaceships, aliens landing and building city, they were all very well done! It looked (at least in the black light) very well maintained. The spacewalk in itself is pretty cool and different than what the other alien places around town have to offer. Tons of gifts and tshirts. One of the artists was running the place when we visited and he greeted us with the Vulcan Salute and "Greetings Humans!" He had a speech about all the tshirt designs having stories to go with them and that the government hasn't been in there to confiscate anything since 9/11. Very cool place. Best little alien shop in town. Kind of hard to find as it is not on the main drag, but worth visiting. Location is on 2nd Street, one block east of Main Street. The guy who works "some" late afternoons, and all day every Sunday is amazing. (This is the overweight guy, Pat). I think he is a true believer in UFO's. This place is simply amazing compared to the UFO Museum in Roswell. The guy who runs the place is very friendly and explains everything in the store. On top of that they have a small black light gallery which features space and alien themed art. If you had to pick between seeing the UFO Museum or The Space Center I would pick the Space Center. DO NOT buy your T-shirt here! We bought the coolest T-shirt here, took it home, followed the washing instructions on the tag & after the first wash, it was totally ruined and now unwearable.
