In addition to treasures, there is also local art for sale and the building itself is historic - it still houses the safes from a previous life as Alamogordo's first bank! They carry all the major brands and some stuff I've not seen in the big stores. They should have any small items you might have forgotten before heading out for a hike or camping trip. The downtown area is pretty small so parking is limited but I usually end up finding something pretty close in front of the store. I definitely recommend stopping in if you're in the area and are an outdoorsy person.

Michelle is patient and thoughtful in her approach to home furnishings. She listens carefully. She looked at pictures of our new home. She asked my wife the style she envisioned. From there, she went to work. She pulled out catalogs. She pulled up pictures. She grabbed us fabric choices. She went over padding and metal options for bar stools. She was patient while we tried every mattress set. We felt zero pressure to buy anything. We bought here because the prices are very fair and their experience shines above the rest. We won't be buying any further furniture pieces without first reaching out to Route 54. We have now had most of the furniture delivered. The delivery crew could not have been better. The guys were friendly, but stayed on task. They were clean, well spoken and precise with the handling of our furniture. These guys far exceeded any and all expectations we had. We could not have been happier with the delivery process. I would recommend Route 54 to anyone. From a young Airman, just moving time town, to the retiree looking to furnish their entire dream home.
