This place has the BEST and cutest clothes! There's literally something for everyone and items you won't see everywhere. I came into town to ski and celebrate my birthday with my friends! While shopping with my friends the owner who happens to be the sweetest lady heard me say my last name was Roberts and my grandads initials were J Roberts. She not only took the time to chat with me and my friends but offered to give me any shirt or jacket in the store that said "J Roberts" on it. Having something with my grandads initials on it like that means the world. She is a one of a kind lady! Can't recommend this store enough! read more

While driving around in Ruidoso for the first time, I came across this cute little store. I just had to go inside and check it out. From the outside it doesn't look all that big but don't let it fool you. It's actually pretty big with tons of cute clothes. Within the first 5mins of walking in, I already had a pile of clothes that I wanted to try on. As I looked in every rack, I just kept finding more and more. Staff was very friendly. The prices were your average boutique prices, nothing crazy expensive. Make sure you check out this store if you love boutique shopping as much as I do. read more

I give this two stars because the stuff actually is really cute here. Unfortunately, the owner is probably unaware of the terrible attitudes and unprofessional behavior demonstrated by the high school girls running this place. They treat customers like dirt and sit there eating pickles at the register (the whole store reeked) with unfriendly and unhelpful looks on their faces. What a shame for a cool place. read more

Purchased a necklace and sundress for my daughter which I'm sure she will love. Never was offered if I needed help while in the store and upon checking out wasn't asked if I found all that I was looking for. If the young employees stopped talking so much with each other, took customer services more seriously your sales would be higher. Just food for thought. read more

When my mother first purchased a cabin in Ruidoso, one of my first objectives was finding good shops downtown. J Roberts is a true gem! This is one of my favorites boutiques I have ever came across! They have the cutest clothes, shoes, and accessories! Every time I come to Ruidoso, I have to stop here! About a month weeks ago I went shopping at JRoberts in Ruiodoso wearing the shirt and necklace I bought from there the day before. As soon as we walked in there was a lady there watching me and my mom the whole time. About 10 minutes in she got on the phone she said "some girls stole some necklaces from our store yesterday if we see them again can we get them in trouble" keep in mind she said this while standing right next to me. I didn't think much of this so I kept shopping. when I found a cute dress I decided to try it on, the same lady came up to me and asked if she could take the other things I had in my hands, I didn't think too much of this either so I said "yes thank you" I decided to get the dress. When me and my mom were going to check out we were looking at the jewelry as we were waiting in line out of all the people who were in line the lady stared at me and my mom THE WHOLE TIME! When we finally got to the check out the lady was watching us get checked out and before the other girl finished ringing it up that lady said "and the necklace you have on?" I replied "I bought this yesterday" she gave me a filthy look. I bought my things and walked out that store and I will never buy from there again. The lady accusing me of stealing was also in the store the day before when I BOUGHT the necklace I had on. Horribly rude and disrespectful I do not recommend ever coming here. read more
