I went in to see Angie to see if she can help me determine what was going on with me. I had been to the ER twice thinking i was having a heart attack and they found nothing. I did all the standard tests in the hospital and then went to the gastro guy to check all of my organs and gastro system. They found nothing. Told me I was fine. I went in and without saying one word about what was going on, she nailed the three biggest things I was concerned about before I said word ONE. Through her Iridology work she told me I had gray mold in my upper transverse colon, an issue with absorbing calcium, D3 and a whole lot of other nutrients. She said I probably had high cholesterol but not naturally, but because I my gallbladder and liver was not functioning properly. After her analysis I told her what had been going on which lined up with what my challenges were. Low vitamin d, high cholesterol and inability to lose weight because I was not absorbing foods properly. The mold was a whole other issues. She spend 2 hours with me, gave me supplements to address my problem and put me on a special diet to get rid of the mold. Within 2 weeks I was feeling myself again. No pains in the chest anymore and then after 3 months, my cholesterol had dropped 40 points from what I was taking. No drugs. I also lost weight and am feeling great. I have reduced the amount of supplements I need and am doing well. She is the real deal and I have no idea what one of the other people posted. I can't say enough about this woman. The practitioner's name is Angie. She presents as an iridologist, and provides "readings" that supposedly give you insight into your health. CAVEAT EMPTOR! My friend and I went - she basically told us the exact same things. My friend is being treated for cancer, (which she supposedly is able to pick up), and she totally missed it. The practitioner says she cured herself of stage 4 cancer- but also says her mom has the gift of being able to detect disease, ( but her mom didn't see hers?), she explains that she kept her eyes closed around her mom. After the reading, she'll diagnose you with "something," then load you up with supplements at a huge mark- up. Just google your symptoms and get your supplements from Amazon or Costco's. Don't fall for this scam! This business preys upon the hopes of chronically ill people. As an aside, the office is very dirty. read more

I can't believe I'm the first to review this place because it's seems as though it's been around FOREVER. The husband and wife team who own this place are knowledgeable, kind and patient. They are small but have a pretty sizeable inventory. And unlike a lot of herb shops, I've never found expired products on their shelves. The main thing that sets this shop apart from many other herb shops (I think) is the fact that the wife (Angie?) is a practicing iridologist. Iridology* sessions are by appointment only and she seems to be in quite the demand. Even though I'm a crunchy, hippy - I, personally, have never tried iridology - but for those of you that might be interested - I just thought I'd make note of it. The prices are pretty much on par with other herbal shops in metro-Atlanta and I always check them out (along with non-affiliated The Herb Shop location on Cobb Parkway) before ordering teas, herbs, supplements, etc from Amazon or other webstores. As good as it gets is right! Angie spent at least 2 hours with my husband and I. She started off with me first. I was blown away when she saw in my eye the exact day that I lost my Dad. She even knew where my husband worked by looking into my eye!!!!!! She knew what color my Kitchen was painted and called out several other colors of walls in our home. We were pleasantly surprised that she understood how to communicate with us all the things that had and were going on with our bodies so that we could begin physical healing. Our healing journey has been life changing for us and I can assure you that she has a gift from God. This Herb shop is the best in the world. My husband and I visit Angie and Lee Wilson weekly. My friends and family (which they have came from out of town, and out of the country to visit) has had appointments with her. Angie is the best, she detected things that I had forgot that has happen in my childhood that know one else would have known about. I have seen her lose sleep if someone is not feeling well. This is truly her passion and gift from God. Please do not make the same mistake I did, by purchasing the herbs from Amazon. You will not get the quality of what Natures Sunshine will give you. I went to see Angie yesterday for an iridology visit and I am blown away. She has extensive experience in eastern medicine and it shows in her knowledge of herbs for healing and her ability to see certain things in my iris that could potentially be harmful to me ... she told me things about me that no one knew or knows - and pointed out areas of my body that were injured and needed healing - parts that she had no idea prior to our meeting .. I was blown away. She told me how I slept - that I had major shoulder problems, my dietary intake, what injuries I had in the past and every single one was absolutely right on. I purchased quite a bit of herbal and nutritional supplements she suggested but in no way need I feel forced to buy them - I wanted to! When I read the reviews of The Herb Shop, I was somewhat shocked. I found The Herb Shop to be exactly as advertise, an MLM (a/k/a pyramid selling, network marketing, and referral marketing, etc.). I sat for an iridology reading with A.W. Prior to the reading, I asked if I could record my reading, I was told by A.W. "not in Georgia." It's illegal in Georgia. I knew this was not correct, so I went to the Georgia law and confirmed it is not illegal in Georgia. I should have known right then and there that this was a scam, but I was there and sat for my iridology reading. A.W. completely missed the mark...telling me "you don't have cancer" I'm currently being treated for cancer; "you're not good with math" I have a degree in math; and the list goes on. Not only did she miss the mark, her "reading" was almost word for word the same reading she gave my friend. Then came an odd question ... "Do you know what kinesiology is?" It just so happens that I am very familiar with kinesiology (the study of the mechanics of body movements). When I said yes, A.W.'s demeanor completely changed. Then A.W. loaded me up with overpriced supplements (MLM).
