Frankly - I'm struggling to figure out how I haven't heard of this place and why no one has posted…read morepics. The oldest review is from 2012! For more than 8 years, I used to frequently visit a plant less than a mile from this place and had no idea it was here. The only thing I can think of regarding lack of photos is maybe the other diners are wolfing their food down before they can snap pics. Lol. I love a good, hot cheap lunch and this place fits the bill. I guess it's what some would call a 'hole in the wall,' but as long as you keep that in mind, for this type of eatery, they knocked it outta the park! Exterior / Interior It's a gas station / convenience store, located right on the corner of Allgood and Damar Rd. (It's less than 5 minutes north of The Big Chicken). Limited parking and be careful exiting the lot. It's on a curve, no traffic light and most motorists seemed intent on disobeying the speed limit. Interior seemed clean and orderly, most customers seemed to be buying food or scratchers. They have this virtual gambling machines and each one was occupied. Crowd was a mix of friendly working class folks and surly sour faced people cursing and trying to steal other people's joy. Food I ordered a turkey club for myself and a chicken philly with fries for the SO. I took the liberty of opening his sandwich and fries to take a pic. My turkey club was quite tasty. I would have his again but I'd ask for it to be placed in a Styrofoam container and I would probably omit the third slice of toast. Thanks to the tight, foil packaging, may sandwich got pretty steamed up by the time I got to my destination. My sweetie said his cheesesteak was excellent and he enjoyed his fries as well. The fries and tator tots have their own dedicated cooking station - and they looked and smelled delicious. Also want to give some Kudos for variety. The cooking area is TINY but somehow, in addition to cheesesteaks and burgers, they also have cold cut sandwiches, fried chicken sandwiches, shrimp PoBoys, BBQ pulled pork sandwiches, beef / lamb gyros and hot dogs. They even have a veggie patty sandwich! Customer Service The 3 men behind the cash register were friendly and the person I spoke to on the phone was very friendly and kind too. (I called to ask about hours and whether they had a menu online). The young lady doing all the cooking was friendly and efficient. She smiled as she asked if mushrooms and onions were ok on the Philly. She kept smiling as she asked if I wanted it dressed with mayo, tomato and lettuce and she thanked me for stopping by. She was manning the grill, the fry station and taking orders and still she managed to stay upbeat and pleasant. Price / Value I think the food prices are pretty reasonable. Another reviewer said the cheesesteak was $5 - either regular inflation or COVID ... it's $6.49. My turkey club was $5.79 and I think the fries were $1.89. They don't have any paper take-away menus (you know I asked) and no online presence so I snapped a few pics of the menu they have written on the an actual, old-school chalk board. Unfortunately, the chalk is very faint and the menu is very hard to read. COVID precautions None at all that I could see. No masks were worn by anyone. There is a plexiglass divider between the customers and the cashiers and the cooking area is on an elevated platform, but otherwise - nada! Overall Overall, once COVID is over, I would stop back by if I was in the area. They are open for breakfast and they stop cooking at 4pm, so I would suggest arriving no later than 3:30pm. If the owner reads this - I would LOVE to see a chicken gyro added in the future. Lol. You already have the flatbread, onions, Tzatziki sauce ... just use that tasty chicken you use on the chicken philly.

Only problem is that it's so popular, trying to park anytime near breakfast or lunch is difficult- but worth it.

Typical Walgreens experience happening here…read more If you aren't familiar, the primary focus is pharmacy/medication and cosmetics. In addition to that they have some supplies of everyday items that range from household to food to electronics .... etc. Prices are high, but you kind of know that coming in. They do have a rewards program (that is free) that gives some pretty good perks if you want to keep up with them. They didn't have what we were looking for, but we had forgotten to bring some waters (for a concert we were going to), so took the opportunity to grab those while we were here. In addition we gots rselves bunchs smrtr cause theys was Smart Waters (Sorry couldn't resist). Probably wouldn't have any reason to be back to this location (nowhere near where we typically are), but if we were we would stop here if we needed something they carry.

BUYER BEWARE of the lack of customer service that LORDYS provides at Walgreens - 4371 S. Cobb Dr!…read moreOn October 29, 2026 at approximately 8:06 PM I ran in to pick up three prints totaling $.98. There was a cashier at the front. I asked if she could help me with pictures as no one else was around and was advised that someone will be with me. At the time, she was in front of the counter and no other customers were in sight. I heard her call out to someone on the floor. After patiently waiting, I asked her if could I bring the pictures to her as they were in clear view and the only photos waiting. She said someone will be right with you. I continued to wait patiently and watched as she checked a customer who had just arrived and after a while, I advised her that I was in a hurry to get to the airport and I really needed to go. She called over the intercom that someone needed help in photos. No one came and by now there are about 3-4 other people in line. She proceeded to check them all out, even though they came up after me. I reminded her that I was still waiting and I really needed to go. She made an announcement, yet again, and no one came. I asked her again if I could just bring them to her to check me out and reminded her that I was the first person waiting to be serviced and she has now helped almost 5 people who came in after me and she exclaimed she's only one person. I heard one of the other customers mention that she could help me, and she said it's ok. After checking out everyone, she then proceeded to come to the photo counter and take the pictures back to the front counter where I offered to bring them earlier. By this time I am extremely frustrated and advised that it was totally unfair to make me wait knowing I was in a hurry and she repeated that she's only one person. I said no, you just have horrible customer service skills. She said you don't talk to me like that, I'm not your child. I told her to do better and stop acting like one. She checked me out and I left. BTW the other person she called for never appeared. Instead of providing the level of customer service that I deserved, Lordys decided to take her frustration with her coworker out on me, obviously because she didn't want to do "someone else's" job. Instead of being a team player, assisting the customer, and then deciding whether to report her coworker to Management, Lordys failed to show any empathy and chose to totally disregard the customer's situation and concern. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!
