She even mumbled about having 14 years of experience, but that doesn't excuse trying to "shark" customers into paying hidden fees. This felt manipulative and unprofessional. Customers should never feel hustled or guilted into paying for something they no longer want, especially when there was no clear communication about extra charges. I don't think a membership is needed to grab a drink, but it did feel a little weird to be in there in street clothes next to people doing lat pull downs and pumping iron.
