Communication was prompt and Beckie was super hospitable at every moment. She was kind and calm, and we all felt welcomed and comfortable. Thanks to her, we learned about alpacas and took some adorable photos. We even got to take home some souvenirs from her cute shop (get the alpaca socks-my husband LOVES his!). As a cherry on top to this fabulous experience, my toddlers got to pick a delicious Fuji apple from Beckie's farm. Wowow, what a fun and unique adventure! I called them a week after that, again, just to check on order status and if the order was not going to be filled, I would like a refund. Their answering machine message says their online store is open and they are checking and returning calls multiple times a day. I've called 2 times now (3/27 and 4/3) and haven't gotten a call back. I also tried reaching out to their Facebook page and they haven't even read the message. I don't want to leave a bad review, and I don't want anything free, I am asking for Some sort of reply to me and either the product I ordered or my money refunded. Please Lavender Ranch, make things right. Fun festive pumpkin patch!…read more This family run pumpkin patch is in the heart of Folsom. This was perfect for small children as it isn't huge like many other patches. They have a variety of pumpkins for sale, and reasonably priced. They have tractor hay rides, animals for petting (bunnies, goats, & chickens) and pony rides. They had a corn maze/tunnel that the children loved running through. And the rocking horse corral was a big hit. And it was reasonably priced. We will be back at Christmas, when it turns into a tree farm!

Tickets for the lavender bloom are seasonal and opening dates can vary based on the timing of the bloom each year. They do a great job of posting their bloom updates and open hours. Buy entry tickets in advance and be ready to show them on your phone. On the day I visited, they had a local coffee vendor who was serving lavender infused products and some local makers on site. The farm is not far from the Sacramento and Folsom areas and you can spend the day visiting other local growers or businesses not too far away. What I really enjoyed about the farm were their strategically placed benches and lawns. You can sit in the shade and enjoy the fields from afar after taking time to walk directly through them. Photo ops abound! There's also a farm barn with their wonderful products such as lotions, soaps and culinary items made from their own lavender. If you missed their opening in 2024, be sure to check them out in next year's bloom. Such a pretty and peaceful place!

I just have to say that Brandon and his family are some of the nicest people I have ever met…read more Since Brandon has bought T J farms, he has worked so very hard to get improvements made for his guests. He has impressed me with his kind hearted Ness for everyone who visits his farm. I did not know Brandon at all until we started working together a year and a half ago. We have a crew of young men and they try very hard to get things done. We replaced the roof on the main house and helped get the kitchen refurbished in the small pickle kitchen. We installed a heat pump and the list goes on. I got to spend lots of time with Brandon and his family. I really appreciate the kind nature of him and his family. They treat everyone so very kind and are always happy to see people who stop by . I just wanted to say thank you Brandon for always being patient with my crew and I.
