I only realized after the wedding that she's an organic farmer which made my esteem for her (and her prices!) rise even more. She's professional, super friendly, organized, a great communicator and incredibly talented at arrangements. Deena listened to my ideas and interpreted them perfectly. From my end it was tricky to explain everything I wanted because I couldn't find a picture that captured the look. So we reviewed lots of different photos where I pointed out the aspects I liked in each. She explained all the flowers available for the season and was such a great communicator that I really felt I was in safe hands. I totally was. She was very generous with her time and advice from the initial consultation to perfecting the flower crown on the wedding day (not that it needed improvement, it actually made me cry it was so beautiful, but it needed slight trimming here and there when we saw it with my hair). When she delivered the flowers I was so overwhelmed that my vision was there in front of me. Her arrangements and flower crown were works of art. So delicate and effortless but also powerful and stunning. I don't know how she did it. I HOPE I can work with her again.

I was probably most excited for the flowers in the lead up to our wedding... and the flowers on the day were even more beautiful than we even imagined!!!! My vision was "wildflower princess" and Sweet Roots absolutely crushed and exceeded all expectations!! Deena was super flexible and helped us work within our set budget. We also got to visit the farm and align on which flowers we liked best, this was definitely a highlight of the whole summer for us. Our visit was so fun. Deena & her team are so warm, welcoming, highly responsive and collaborative, and incredible at what they do. If you're looking for a florist I can't recommend Sweet Roots enough.

She had been recommended to us by a friend who had also worked with her for her wedding. Pros: -For our ceremony in the redwoods we didn't need any flowers to make the place beautiful, but we did ask for a chuppah (for the groom's Jewish culture) adorned with batik cloth and jasmine flowers (for the bride's Indonesian culture). The chuppah was made out of beautiful wood, and even though the specific species of Jasmine flowers used in Indonesian weddings was not available, Molly came through with a local flower that looked almost the same. -We both love succulents and wanted to have them be the floral look of our wedding and reception. The bouquets, corsages, and bride's hairpiece were creatively made out of succulents and all looked gorgeous -For the reception, we wanted the tables to have potted succulent arrangements as centerpieces. Molly delivered, big time! Each succulent display was different and beautiful in its own way. -The mother of the groom was very involved in the preparation of the centerpieces, acquiring and hand-painting seventeen pots for the arrangements. She and Molly worked VERY well together in making this happen. -Great value compared to some of the other florists we considered Cons: -None All in all we were very satisfied with Molly and recommend her highly! Review from my mother in law : Working with Molly was a total joy. I live across the country from her, and we communicated by phone, text or email in regards to the flowers for my son and daughter-in-law's wedding. She ended up custom-growing plants for specific containers that I mailed to her. Those centerpieces, in addition to the bridal bouquets and a custom-designed outdoor chuppah ended up making a lasting visual statement! She is a superb listener and a beautiful artist. As an artist myself, I can totally endorse Molly to get the job done in a memorable way!

Molly is incredibly easy to work with and her prices are very reasonable. I had a hard time articulating what I wanted but was able to share some concepts with Molly and she worked to bring them to life. I loved all the arrangements she made for us and we received numerous compliments on how beautiful the flowers were. If you are getting married in the Auburn/Grass Valley/Tahoe area I highly recommend Dinner Bell Farm as your flower vendor.

I called, the lady said she would have to get back to me the next day about our request. She called 20 minutes later & said that would work. I was so excited, it was all I was looking forward to for weeks. We show up a few minutes before our 9:00 am class, there was a woman in the window measuring things, we wave, she waves back. Then she keeps measuring. We keep waiting. Finally, around 9:08 I knock on the window & motion for her to meet us at the door. She comes around, "Hi, we are here for our 9:00 am class", "Oh, uh...I'm just renting the kitchen, no one else is here"... She called the owner, a few minutes later comes back with "I didn't know they confirmed for the class". The woman renting the kitchen was very apologetic, invited us in to write down our names/numbers so that the owner could get in touch with us. & did they? Nope. Which brings me here today. I wouldn't have left a bad review if they had called me & tried to talk it through, but nothing... nothing, at all. I'm all about customer service & will be loyal to a fault, especially to local & small business. I get it, things happen. BUT its been over 3 weeks now, and nothing back? Super disappointing.

We ended up with a 4.5ft tall tree. They do have some larger pre cut trees that they bring in if you're okay with not cutting it fresh.
