Had a great time at the pumpkin patch...some real beauties with great big stems!!!! Food to sample and purchase, Dave's Dazzling Dills are not to be forgotten. Hay ride, obstacle course and farm animals for the kiddies!!!!

    Dad found a big one!

Husband brought the kids and I here for the first time last weekend. We are used to Bishop's in wheatland but it is so overwhelming and we just wanted a nice quiet day. This place was perfect. You walk up and grab a cart, they have cutters in there for you . So helpful. Kids loved getting a ride in it. Pick your pumpkins and then take them inside to get measured and pay. They also have a few local goodies, like pickles and jams. I loved the hot pickles :) They also have a cute little hay ride that goes around the whole pumpkin patch, $3 each. We all thought it was cute. Kids enjoyed feeding the donkeys and running around taking photos in the fun prop signs. They also have a bounce house, and I think it was $1-"$2 per kid. It is small and not a lot to do, but that is exactly what we wanted..it was perfect! And will definitely be back

I came here yesterday after the owners were kind enough to give a donation of 2 large pumpkins for a fundraiser I am organizing at work!

I came here yesterday after the owners were kind enough to give a donation of 2 large pumpkins for a fundraiser I am organizing at work. The farm is beautiful and the pumpkin patch is very plentiful and vast. When I arrived, they were making their own jam and they were very friendly and giving. Thank you for everything you guys do! I will definitely be back for my own pumpkin!

Here we are..on the hayride. The driver was a super nice guy. This little trip around the patch was $15 for us.

This is a nice small scale family farm in Chico. Pumpkins are about $8-$10 for medium size. Hayride goes around the pumpkin patch and costs $3 per head. I think the pumpkins are marked up a little high but...it's really all about the novelty and experience. TJ's gets you in that Fall mood and Halloween spirit

My husband was even interested in everything that we learned. We had lots of questions and Caz answered them. The man who works on the farm was so kind to bring out some fresh lavender for us to have. Thank You! We took a self guided tour of the loofas. Fascinating. I had fun shopping in the store. There were so many different items for sale. I got some fun gifts for my girlfriends back in San Diego. If you love lavender, like I do, or if you're curious about loofa, be sure to plan a stop at this farm. Be sure to check out their website for current hours. www.MoonBeamFarm.com They offer classes. It would be so much fun to get together with friends and take a class. Check it out. Note- if you have an RV, check out Harvest Hosts. You can camp overnight at the lavender farm.

Moonbeam Farm and Country Store have such a cute selection of lavender products and gifts. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They said their products are all organic and do not include parabens. The lotion and lotion bar are my favorite. They smell and feel great. We will definitely go back on our next trip up north. They also sell online.
