History
Established in 2013.
Headquartered in Chico, CA, Painted Cellars was founded on a woman’s search for classy fun, relaxation, and socializing. Living in a new town, having outgrown the nightlife, and being bored from the typical day-to-day activities, Erika, founder and co-owner of Painted Cellars, was in search of doing something new, fun, and meeting new people.
With Erika’s creative imagination and experience with art therapy and her fiancé, Jason’s wine country roots and entrepreneurial spirit, both were set on a mission to create an unforgettable activity that included their joys of mingling with people, painting, and wine sipping.
Painted Cellars is a paint class designed for people who are also in search of trying something new, perhaps uncovering a hidden talent or stepping out from the ordinary night out, meeting new people, or simply wanting to relax after a long day at home or work.
Meet the Manager: Madelyn H.
I am a lover of art, parties, wine and good times. As the Manager for Painted Cellars Chico, my goal is to create a fun, relaxing, creative experience for our clients. I am honored to have the opportunity to teach as an Artist Instructor for Painted Cellars on a regular basis as well. I have a Bachelors in Education in the Arts and a lifetime passion for planning events with friends and creating artwork. As your Chico Manager and Art Instructor, I will guide you step-by-step until you’ve completed your masterpiece. No painting experience is required, only a desire to relax, have fun, and paint!
