Because you have to put your card on file when joining the school they have access to charge your card whenever. When I noticed I was charged an extra $55 in the month of November I asked Ms.Julie the director of the school what the charge was for. She told me that it was a custom fee for the recital in May and if we decided to not participate in the recital that we will be able to apply the $55 towards tuition. Later I decided to withdraw my daughter from the school. I asked them to apply the $55 towards the last month they charge upon withdrawal. Expected to be charge an additional $20 being that a months tuition is $75 and clarified with Abbey the Receptionist when I turned in my withdrawal form. To then be charge then entire $75. Still believing in the good of people and ethics in their business I figured I would call and explain what had happen and everything would get fix. Instead they never picked up or return my call after leaving a voicemail. Instead I received an email from Ms.Julie stating that costume fee are non refundable. Even though I wasn't asking for a refund I was simply asking for the charge to be applied towards tuition being that my daughter wasn't participating in the recital. I tried calling multiple times and still no answer so I decided to take a trip to have a conversation with Ms.Julie. Ms.Julie was very condescending and continued to interrupt me while I was trying to explain her the entire situation. She ended up cutting me off mid sentence for the last time and dismissed herself. My 5 year old daughter who looked up to Ms.Julie and was attending her class for several months was doing the potty dance and told me she really had to use the restroom. I started to walk towards the restroom with my daughter when Ms.Julie told me my daughter her former student is not allowed to use her restroom she needs to go next door to the gas station. My daughter was very hurt and I was disgusted. I am happy with my decision of withdrawing my daughter from this school. It was never about the money for me, rather about ethics and professionalism which clearly they have none at the Collierville Arts academy. These people don't accept honest feedback only compliments. They never admit to any wrong doing and never apologize.

At the time Justin Timberlake's little brother Jonathan was one of my students as well and I remember he took to dance really well. I taught 3 to 4 classes a day from 8 years old to the teenagers and a mommy class on Fridays. Those were the good ole days in Memphis, but if you're ever in Germantown and you have the need to get your dance on please go to this studio.

Each spring, students work together and put on a big recital, for which parents have to stand in line to buy tickets. Costumes, production, the whole shebang. Rehearsals are daily the week prior to the program. Every other week of the school year, students attend a weekly class. The little ones take in the downstairs classrooms, accessed either through a back door (which they don't want anyone using when weather is cold, because it puts a chill on the downstairs studios), or through the painfully tight upper lobby and down a set of metal spiral stairs. When classes change, this is a truly hectic scene. I've started just dropping my 3 year old daughter in the lobby to walk herself down, because the stairs make me so nervous! In the changing area/restroom, something is always broken or out of order. The big dance area upstairs is a beautiful space, with plenty of room, great windows, and the tweens and teens seem to take their classes up there. The little girls are allowed to wear whatever leotard they like to classes, as long as they have appropriate dance shoes and purchase the tap shoes provided by the studio (they must all match for the show). Hair is to be up in a bun when possible, and not in a bow. When we came to join the studio in the fall, we may have caught the staff at a bad time. Miss Deborah, the dance teacher for the little ones, had just driven to Chicago and then lost her phone while she was up there. I never could get anyone on the phone from the actual studio, and have not been able to get much information from them via email. Your best bet is just to come into the studio between 4-5:30 one afternoon, to get information in person. It sounds from this review that it is a terrible place, but my daughter *adores* her hour-long ballet class, Miss Deborah, and the other little ballerinas. As long as she continues to enjoy it, we'll keep her enrolled. Maybe someday they'll expand, or get a bigger space. Until then, keep handing out the stickers, and we'll keep paying!

We arrived at 4:15 PM and were the only table in the restaurant, yet service was unbelievably slow from the start. It took over ten minutes just to receive drinks. Shortly after, another table was seated and the server suddenly spent a remarkable time at that table (roughly ten minutes?) and then she took their order first. After waiting about 30 minutes, our food finally arrived and it was completely unacceptable. Everything was cold, greasy, and nothing about it resembled authentic Cajun cuisine. The crawfish tails were clearly microwaved and served on a bland bed of rice. The children's mac and cheese was especially bad--dry, unappetizing, and obviously had been sitting under a heat lamp for far too long. My boyfriend had his dish to the side, untouched and was trying to get anyone's attention to come by. The server did not return for another 15 minutes to check on the food. To make matters worse, when we asked to speak with a manager/owner, they refused to come to the table. Instead, we were told, "The manager said to just remove it from your bill." That level of disregard for customers is incredibly unprofessional and disappointing. I honestly don't understand how they expect to stay open. A service industry business that you refuse to treat seriously? Ridiculous. The service throughout the entire visit was just as poor. Our server was rude, inattentive, and spent most of the time avoiding tables, either hiding behind the kitchen door or standing at the server station. We ultimately had to get up ourselves just to pay. Overall, the experience was frustrating from beginning to end. Between the poor service, low-quality food, and lack of management accountability, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. If I could give it zero stars I would.

Thanks to the combination of excellent training and Ms. Brown's emphasis on traditional values like hard work, dedication, team work, commitment and attention to detail, her students consistently win top awards in competitions, earn college dance scholarships and go on to perform professionally. We stood there confused, and when I asked if there was a problem, she said, "We're about to see." We stepped aside so we wouldn't hold up the line and watched other guests be warmly greeted and helped. The manager came, asked a question or two, and told her to check us out, but Tiffany didn't. She continued helping others while we stood there waiting respectfully, not trying to cause a scene, feeling embarrassed as people looked at us, wondering what was going on. It wasn't until my husband spoke up that she finally helped us. The delay wasn't the issue. It was the lack of communication and the way we were made to feel.
