The Harper Group was an amazing agency to work with. The support, guidance, and service I have found here cannot be beaten anywhere else. Within a couple of days I was already booked on a temp job and was constantly updated on the status of my candidacy at a full time position I was interviewing for. There is no waiting around-when you email a question you will receive an answer in less than 10 minutes-literally. It's very rare to come by the speedy responses these days and I'm someone who really appreciates that especially since I'm impatient-and let's face it, we're on New York time, everything needs to be fast paced and The Harper Group is definitely on that level. The Harper Group goes above and beyond for you-for example, even when she was away on a trip overseas she still called me to help me prepare for the interview. She called to let me know what questions I should expect to be asked in the interview, how to answer them, salary requirements, questions to ask, and which of my skills I should spend the most time talking about that will help me become a stronger candidate. She even asked me to call her immediately after the interview to let her know how it went and she will then call the interviewer and seek feedback about how you did and lets you know immediately after. She also offers to proof read your thank you note before you send it making sure it's great, you haven't misspelled any names, etc. That right there gets an A+ for customer service, dedication, and passion, and I have never and most likely will never meet someone who was so dedicated as this agency is. I love that The Harper Group listens to you about what your needs, wants, and dreams are career wise and that information is used to help place you with a full time position in your field which is very important. I work in the entertainment industry, and it's pretty cutthroat out here, but I have never felt so cared for and supported before in my career and that is something I really value. If you are looking for a career in the Sales and Marketing Industry as I was, the Harper Group, Inc. should be your first stop! I worked with Jill Rosenfeld, the president of the company and she was beyond amazing. She took the time to get to know me at our initial meeting, what I was looking for career wise and searched for job leads accordingly. I have to say she did a FANTASTIC job! She got back to me with at least two leads a week to see if I'd be interested in going on interviews. I was out of work for about a month and a half prior to meeting Jill, finding myself getting nowhere with my search. I had applied to a position through an on-line ad that she was filling, but unfortunately, I was too late; they had filled it. She still got in touch with me and told me she would like to meet me, that I had a great resume and even though the position I applied for was filled, she had more that fit my credentials. The position I hold now is miles above my last one in every way (title,salary,employer etc.). Not only did she find me an amazing company to work with, but she followed up with me every week to see how everything was going, see if I had questions, or if I needed anything! She really goes above and beyond. I have used other recruiters in the past and they weren't nearly as helpful, professional, easy to work with and dedicated as she is.
