The whole point of placing a mobile order is for that order to be prepared and ready BEFORE the person arrives. The other way in which the staff is disrespectful, particularly towards delivery drivers who are getting paid to facilitate their business, is that they treat all drivers like thieves. After making drivers wait 15+ minutes past the pickup time, the staff has the audacity to then refuse to hand the driver the order until the driver has "confirmed" the order on the app. They do this because scumbag drivers in the past have stolen orders without confirming. The actual solution to the ROOT of this problem is to report those thief drivers to whichever company the order was placed on (UberEats, DoorDash, etc) and get that driver deactivated. Treating every single driver like a thief, especially AFTER deliberately making the driver lose money by waiting a long time for a fast food order, is disrespectful beyond belief. It's almost as if they don't realize that drivers are also potential customers, and fellow citizens who are just trying to make a living.
