Really understanding and great staff! Support this business -- the burgers are good too!

My co workers and I went on lunch this week and it's good HALAL fast food! The loaded fries were my favorite, saucy and flavorful! The gyro cheeseburger was good, the gyro meat was a little too well done but it was saucy and flavorful. The In Out Halal was good just not my jam. The Philly cheesesteak was really good! Fireball wings were ok, not super spicy like I thought they would be. read more

Ok so although this place may seem like a "hole in the wall", don't be fooled! The food was absolutely delicious! Have you ever been to a restaurant and looked at the picture of the food and it looks nothing like what you receive? Not here. The photo and food are practically identical! I had the loaded fries and there was SO much beef that I couldn't finish the meal! My daughter's burger was picture perfect. Highly recommend. read more

I tried the Sauccyyy Fries and the Fireball Burger from this restaurant today for lunch. Burger really isn't greasy so you won't feel sleepy or tired as you would usually after eating a burger. I placed the order on call for pickup and the customer service was quick and my food was ready in 15 minutes. Simple Ambiance of the restaurant but it really doesn't matter if the food is great. Definitely recommend this location to all for lunch 5/5. read more

I had the Gladiator Burger and it was very delicious! My wife had the Gyro Burger and loved it. My son had the Tilapia Burger and my daughter the classic burger and they both loved them. We all shared some chili cheese fries and they were also the best I've ever had. Will have to come back to this place again. read more

The halal burger is one of the best places to get your fresh made burger . The halal burger been up since I came to America and I came to America around 2014 and I been going to the halal burger for the past 10-12 years. So the owner of the store definitely seen me going from little and fat to tall and slim . And over the past years I been eating with them, there food quality and texture definitely improved from years going to them. If you haven't tried there food out your honestly missing out because there food is so amazing now like couple days ago me and my friends want there and ate there and was dining in there new dine in place. Yes they opened up another store right next to it for a dining area and i love it. The paintings and the art on the walls were just cool. I'm putting up this review because they deserve it and they been so consistent with they business and I love to see that. But without consistently you can't really achieve anything. So this restaurant is definitely 5/5 . The food and the quality of the food has Improved so much I want you guys to go and support this business and leave a good review in for them for all the hard work they put into becoming what they became today. They are a clean and halal business and they respect all of their customers. The food over there is good and nice. But they take too long.

The two guys at the counter were good and they had a spicy version of the fries called masala which was good. Other than that everything was bust. 1. We got three burgers, and clarified we wanted one of them without the sesame seed bun. Apparently that request was too hard to handle. The sauces on fire burger were good but the rest of the burgers were bland. It appears the patty they use is a stock frozen one so the sauces add the flavor to it which is not what a burger place should be. 2. Restroom was dirty and a mess and there wasn't any TP to even clean the seats... 3. This location doesn't have a dine in option which would've been good to know before we made the journey but that's on me. I wouldn't recommend this place if you want the burgers. There are far better halal burger spots like Epic, Firefly to name a couple. read more

Went to this place craving a burger. When I first arrived I immediately wanted to turn around and find something else, because it seemed like a bad neighborhood and dirty. I ended up ordering one of their most popular burger options and cheese fries. When I finally got my meal I was extremely disappointed of how sloppy and unappetizing it looked. Ordered late night delivery from here. Did it take longer than expected? Yes. Was it 100% worth the wait? Also YES! We ordered a burger, a chicken sandwich, some wings and the gyro nachos. I saw this place on DoorDash and the DD reviews seemed promising so I placed a pick-up order. When I arrived, their parking lot is not big enough for the number of businesses open in that strip mall and it was very chaotic. When I walked in, it just seemed like a bunch of dudes hanging out and I immediately became suspicious of the sanitary conditions. No gloves, no masks, just dudes hanging out. When I got home, I was immediately disappointed in the food. I ordered a well done gyros burger and onion rings. My onion rings were burnt and inedible. The burger looked good but after 2 bites I had to go to the bathroom... I wrapped up the burger and put it away. I wasn't sure if that was the cause of my upset stomach so I brushed it off. Next day, I ate another bite of my burger and same thing happened so I threw it away. I'm gonna need these guys to at least look like they are washing their hands or something. Nice place for burgers with decent prices. I've tried the fireball and gladiator and both tasted good. This place seems like carry out only which is fine with me. One thing they can work on is not overcooking the burgers, sometimes it's a little dry. But overall it's a decent place to get halal burgers, I'll be back soon. read more

This place is best enjoyed if you take it to go and eat it at home. There's only 2 random tables to sit at and I personally wouldn't want to eat there because it is very small. So as I was driving to this place, I tried calling in my order. No one picked up. So I decided to just order in person. Once I got there, there were three men cooking away. I signaled one of them to help me. I ordered the CEO Burger (added turkey bacon), Fireball Burger, and a 10 piece order of Korean Wings. I asked the man if he could separate the wings by half in 2 containers. He got kind of hyper. It seemed he didn't want to give me 2 containers. He said he would try his best and that my order would take 20 mins. So then I sat on one of the stools and waited. I noticed the phone rang a few times, but they weren't answering. There was a tv on playing some hot dance videos from Ibiza. It was so random it being a halal burger place. My order was ready in exactly 20 mins. The man did separate the wings for me. And he threw in some fries for free. I think he felt bad about earlier and not wanting to split the wings into 2 containers. I couldn't wait to get home and try my burger. Was it good? Absolutely. I felt like I could live the rest of my life eating burgers. The wings were also super flavorful. I am going back for sure to try more of their burger options, gyros, and mozzarella sticks! Great place for late night takeout! I didn't try this place for the longest time because of reviews saying it takes 45 minutes, but after a few months of ordering from here a couple times a week, I can tell you that usually the wait is only 10 minutes. If they're absolutely slammed on the weekend it's at most 25 minutes, but they're pretty accurate in telling you how long so that's not a big deal. The burgers are huge, juicy pub style burgers, very tasty and filling. My favorite is the Fireball but I usually switch it up because they're all great. Also worth mentioning is that the burgers are wrapped in a foil wrapper so they're still hot up to about a half hour later. read more

Good burger but EXTREMELY TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! The first time I got a burger from there, it was so good. Then I got it again on a different day & I bought burgers for all my staff too because I thought it was soo good the first time but ALL the burgers came totally burnt. Like no joke, black. It was disgusting. I called to complain & the manager said that they'd give me 5 free burgers next time I ordered so I tried to order about a week later. After about callin for 30 minutes, someone finally picked up & said they couldn't give me my free burgers cause the manager wasn't there. Probably one of the better burgers on the far Northside that most (foodies) are never going to try. But why? It's a hole-in-the-wall, situated in a rundown strip mall known for late night karaoke and Korean bar & grilled foods. Also there is at least one employee that needs customer service training in the sub-category of pleasantries. The cost is very affordable. The storefront lacks greatly in the "looks" department. Most people would make a snap decision to eat elsewhere. This is the honest truth, I felt this but decided to overcome & see what the hype was about. Surveying the lifeless interior, a fear of dysentery came over me. They offer a table with a few seats but the "cold" atmosphere with a tiny wash basin next to the counter.. it doesn't look inviting or sanitary for that matter. I've seen soup kitchens that are more comforting. Also, there isn't much in the department of hospitality. The guys manning the counter do their best but I don't think they've been at it very long. It's an uphill battle. It's still a new place, they're learning how to swing take-out, phone orders and preparing foods to-go in reasonable timing. The chef that slings their amazing burgers looks like Big Pun, he's the nicest of the lot. He's got a partner that helps him run the counter. But dude...lacks in pleasantries. See other reviews he's been mentioned. Seems like an okay fella but whoa! The other day I asked if I could have a few slices of jalapeno on my burger. With a lot of sass & grump, he said "why don't you just order the spicy burger then?!" But I didn't want the spicy burger, I wanted the CEO w/ jalapeno slices.. all the toppings are different from burger to burger. This guy also HATES separate orders and will comment if you arrive in a group and order solo. I'm guessing the bigger problem is not having a decent POS touch-system to ring up charges. They are using the old style cash register & having to look at their menus for pricing. Then doing arithmetic in their heads or on a calculator. It's time consuming & an extra chore on top of preparing foods in a timely manner. If they could get another $3-5 k invested, it would go a long way. I don't understand why they opened in this lot. There are a couple other burger joints that are now vacant and a perfect fit. These guys should move! Last but not least, the burgers are Halal and FRESH meat. What's Halal? Well, Muslims eat meats that are butchered Halal as Jews eat meats that are butchered Kosher. If it matters, Google it. It's a special process in how the animal is slaughtered. Both Muslims and Jews do the initial processes similarly but in the end there are some differences. They're using run-of-the-mill ingredients as toppings but they do so in such a favorable fashion, it's very tasty. Burgers are served on Brioche so toppings and the final product look picturesque. So far, I've had the CEO and Chilli burger. I ordered the Chilli burger thinking it was going to be spicy. Later I realized, no, it's topped with chili. Much of the time when eating a burger, I reach for my usual condiments of ketchup and mustard. There's a perfect meld of flavors I seek with a good charred burger. However, with their flavorful combinations, I find myself content with what's offered. They're still new and operating with a small budget; this indicative by the condiments brands they use and the frozen french fries that are prepared. Fries will come free in sandwich combos or with other meals like chicken wings. Also a tasty offering so long as a sauce is chosen. But, the size of the wings are mighty tiny. But for $4 for 6 chicken wings and a side of fries.. it's kinda a steal. Enjoy it while it lasts folks. Spots like this tend to be around a short time. Not sure how the food taste since I never received my order. We ordered on the phone (after countless attempts to get thru) and were told it would be 30 minutes for 3 burgers and fries. We showed up 45 minutes later to pick up the food only to have the person at the counter tell us the order had not been started and would take another 30-40 minutes. No thank you. It shouldn't take an hour and half to grill 3 burgers when orders are placed ahead of time. And even if it does take that long have the vision to give a proper estimate of when food will be ready. Will give it another shot if in the area and re-review. This occurred on a 5/11 9pm. Wish you guys success but not sure you'll be occupying this spot for long if this is a reoccurring theme in how you handle customer orders. read more

Really good zinger burger filled me up my second time eating me and my family liked it

I am giving it 5 stars because the food tastes really good. My family ordered some classic burgers and all were very happy. The burger was juicy and tasty. Fries were good. 3 combo meals costed about $21 which is not really expensive. The owner/manager Kamran was a really nice guy. I highly recommend this place! Has its own parking lot. However, I REALLY HOPE THEY WILL CONSIDER NEWER EMPLOYEE(s). I was told since today is NYE that the wait will be longer, and that instead of 15 minutes it will be 25... it took almost an hour for 3 classic burger combos.... Also there is an older employee who was telling a group of customers that all came in together and wanted to order seperately, "Can you guys please have everything in 1 order, it will really make my work a lot easier". Another incident was when a customer placed an order and after paying came back and wanted to make his burger into a combo the same employee tells the customer, "you know I asked you if you wanted a combo before and now you are making me do more work." Halal Burger get on top of this poor performing employee! You have a great thing going don't mess it up because of some imbecile like this.
