Beatrice and Company truly care and it shows, they are all very friendly and extremely accomodating to each and every request that I had for my rott.. I actually felt bad that I don't think I thanked her enough today for everything and all of the little things that she did for us today. You can't go wrong and I personally think her prices are really cheap for what you get. A pleasant and fun experience for my best friend ! Thanks again Beatrice !! read more

If it was possible I would give Hairy Hound negative 5 star rating. On February 3 we brought our little sweet girl Daisy here for grooming. Daisy had a big bump on top of her neck. I informed the lady who took Daisy in to be careful not to cut the bump. After couple of hours I went to pick her up and she looked great until I noticed a bloody spot on top. Same lady, I'm assuming she is the owner, didn't even say anything about the cut, not one word!!!! I took Daisy home thinking the cut will heal pretty quick. Oh was I wrong. The nightmare began later on that evening. Gross liquid and blood started oozing out of the cut. As you can see it the pictures it looked horrible. The following day we took Daisy to the vet. It was infected and she had a fever because of it. She was prescribed several medications. Daisys health started to decline and sadly she passed on March 1, 2020. Prior to going to The Hairy Hound daisy showed no health issues and she was one happy dog. I have contacted the Hairy Hound on February 14 and told them about our dog's situation. The owner Beatrice was on vacation and I spoke with one of the employees who assured me Beatrice would get back to me as soon as she returns. As of today I have not been contacted by her. If Beatrice can not bother to contact us about our dog when the problem clearly occurred at her salon how is she going to treat your pet? If you love your pet stay away from this place. read more

Brought my Aussie here today for the first time. She was a little skeptical going in but came out her normal, happy self and looking awesome. This makes me comfortable that she was taken care of and pampered. Groomer did a great job and gave her exactly what I asked for, cleaned up but not too much taken off. She looks like she's been coming here forever. Very pleased with the customer service and service to my pup. Will definitely be coming back. Price was very fair as well. read more

I can only say positive things about Beatrice and her grooming shop! I took my little Joey to her yesterday. She's personable and very welcoming. Joey would usually run for his life knowing what he's about to get into. Bea carried Joey while she gave us a tour of her shop, and Joey didn't seem to mind at all! I think he knew she was going to treat him well for the short time they're going to be together. I've already spread the word to other dog owners about her! This will be Joey's new go to place for his grooming needs! read more

The fur so super soft and smell so nice and clean as well. The price is very reasonable to! read more

ABSOLUTELY LOVE HAIRY HOUND! My babies Sadie and Biggie always come home happy and look great. My brother referred me, forever thankful! Thank you Beatrice!! Even surprised my husband by having Sadie's nails polished! Sadie is a rescue who's had a rough start to her young puppy life. When she comes home after her grooming she prances and poses. PRICELESS!! read more

Used to love them for my two dogs....but the last time I had them there my male came home curled up in vehicle, stayed in cage for three weeks had to coach him out with treats to eat and go out. He'd then go back to his crate. Didn't want to play with his toys or even pet him. Never going back read more

The best groomer my dog ever had! I have the Goldendoodle, Bart, and he was abused by the previous groomer. We both (I mean me and my dog) were very nervous when we came to Beatrice, but she was so nice to Bart. I have to say that is was like the dog spa, he calmed down, he wanted to play with her and try to kiss her every time he was able to reach her. I strongly recommend this groomer to everybody. You do not find better! Believe me! Beatrice, thank you for your big heart, love to our dogs, high professionalism, and dedication! read more

Wife and I are babysitting her parents dog from NJ and needed to find a groomer. We saw them on yelp, let me tell you this:THEY ARE AMAZING!! I would recommend them to everyone. Everyone was so nice and caring. They even found some stuff in he's ear we didn't know about and offered advise. I can't say enough good things about them. And they are reasonably priced. read more

Great local find for pet grooming and nail trimming needs. Very reasonable pricing and always flexible when we need a quick nail trim for our pups. Everyone is extremely friendly and good with the dogs as well. Highly recommend them! read more

Bea is incredibly friendly and very upbeat, as are the rest of her staff. She even offered to come pick up and drop off my cat! I take my long hair calico Boggle to get shaved twice a year due to her matting, and she has always come back home very skittish and freaked out for several hours to a day or so. After taking her to The Hairy Hound for the first time, the moment I let her out of her cage at home she was completely chill as though nothing had happened to her. I was thrilled by this, was planning on returning anyway due to the affordable and great job Bea did shaving her, but this just makes me even more happy. Everyone take your furbags here if you want great service! Thanks again Bea! read more

Very happy I found this place. B took us in on a Sunday without an appointment and she did a fabulous job with my puppy. Very clean areas clean grooming instuments. She explained everything to me in a professional manner, she was very friendly. I will be bringing my dog back. Thank you. read more

Bea was very kind, sweet, gentle and very attentive towards my dog. He is a sweet guy, but gets anxiety from the groomer until he is very comfortable with them. We just relocated to Illinois and had a couple of bad experiences with groomers that caused my dog's anxiety to flare. Bea did a great job grooming him and she communicates very well. Best part is she books your fur baby their own individual appointment and they will get undivided attention. We have found our groomer! read more

My first time taking my lil shih-poo morkie there. Beatriz was able to give me an appointment for the same day and she did a fabulous job. I'm very happy to say I'll be taking my little guy there going forward. read more

Beatrice and her staff are the best groomers in the area! One of my dogs gets a little crazy when it comes to getting her nails trimmed but they are patient with her and creative in finding ways to make it less stressful as well. They are kind and patient with the dogs and their prices are very reasonable. Will never take my fur babies anywhere else! read more

I have a very large German Shepherd rescue and his baggage includes a huge fear of water (bathing) and having his paws touched. He was filthy, his nails were too long and his fur was matted. Bea was professional, efficient and fearless. With compassion for his history, she managed to bathe him, dry him and clip his nails without further traumatizing him. I needed him to trust this process and the treatment he received ensured that I can bring him back, as needed. Outstanding people and very fairly priced. Cannot thank them enough! read more

The Hairy Hound is absolutely excellent. They are willing to be flexible with scheduling to meet your needs, their prices are very reasonable, they do a beautiful job and they will talk to and nurture your animal the whole time. My recently adopted Boston Terrier/Jack Russell mix had not been professionally groomed before and they made her feel perfectly at home. The place itself has couches and a couple of rooms, so you can even wait while your furbaby gets the spa treatment. read more
