I like to keep him coat long and they do a great job of cleaning him up. His coat is so shiny and healthy. I was scheduled for 9am but I thought it was a general…read moredrop off time because I could see dogs lined up for grooming: I was also called the last two times at 3pm when I dropped them off in the morning. So my guess is that they leave the dogs for a couples hours and take them when they are ready. It took me two months to get the appointment. It was my third appointment. I tip well it. Costs me close to 200 with both dogs including tip . Not to mention they don't like being Dropped off there. Jill the manager kicked me and my dogs out because we were late. When I complained Jill offered to call every dog groomer in town to complain about me so I would not be able to get into another dog groomer. What? I admit I was extremely upset because my dogs look terrible and need grooming at least every two months. It was very upsetting to me that I might have to wait another month for a dog groomer they cannot go without grooming. I showed late due to a misunderstanding. I live half the time in Chicago and I can say I have never been treated in this way. Typically 9 am would be a general drop off and they line up the dogs for the groomers. Which I understand. Jill did not even offer me another day . Snd said it's like a vet office you must show up on time. Yes agree with being on time for a vet because they don't line them up to be washed. I called the establishment back and asked to talk with the owner. Jill answered and said she was the owner. I cannot believe that she is the owner. She doubled down on her rudeness. She called insulting names. I cannot believe an owner of an establishment would act the way she did. Took the day off from work and got my dogs into Pawsatively. What a great group! My dogs look perfect that's to Pawatively at 1550'N Wells. If groomers aren't nice to the owners I can't what goes on with innocent dogs when the owners aren't around. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with such a warm welcome by Lindsey (I believe that was her name). The front of the house was very clean, and as another pup was leaving, it was obvious they had been well cared for and were happy. Since this was Knuckles' very first grooming appointment, I was a little nervous, but the entire team was incredibly patient, gentle, and kind with him. When I picked him up, he looked adorable wearing a cute bandana, smelled amazing, and his coat was so soft and fluffy. One tip:don't use Google maps to get there. It took me out of the way through a residential area and wasted time. They are in a strip mall at the intersection of Mitchell and Butterfield (southwest corner) next to a pizza place. Heading west on Butterfield from Kirk/Farnsworth it will be on your left.

With my help, a harness and a muzzle, my cat was finally calm. The employees were so patient, calm and kind. They let him calm down and we finally got the haircut done. He looks great. He feels great. I will definitely be back. So sorry he was difficult! Before and after pictures are attached. If I had to recommend one thing, perhaps there could be a separate cat room where they are groomed separately. I know my cat was stressed being groomed right next to a dog. The location is very open concept, so right behind the front desk are all the tables for grooming and then a room on the side for bathing and drying. If your pet gets stressed by a lot of action, this may not be the place for you. But the results were amazing.

When I sent a message to Randi and Rob to let them know, they both sent back the most gracious, sweet thoughts about our girl and it meant so much knowing they loved her too. Now we have two rescue dogs we got this last summer and they have been absolutely amazing with both -- Winston, a Jack Russell mix, is very timid and really gave Randi a hard time when she groomed him for the first time. She rolled with it and couldn't have been nicer about plans for the next time he came. I also really like that you can text them to request an appointment -- I am the worst about letting it slip my mind and it's tough calling when they're open b/c I don't want to bother them while the salon is full, so it's just super convenient to be able to send a message. The salon is really conveniently located, you just have to know to park behind the adjacent building (there are signs). Highly recommend -- great groomers that really care about their clients (and their owners, too)
