    What an amazing find! Eliza showed up to my home on time and was kind, courteous, attentive and extremely knowledgeable. She answered all my questions and put my mind at ease. My Mini Goldendoodle Layla was spoiled and pampered and ready in under 80 minutes. Would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a quality groomer. The convenience of her coming to you and the quality of the groom is nothing short of sensational.

    I'm based in Naperville and have been taking all of my dogs for years to this location. In our…read moresecond to last appointment, they called to tell me that I need to take my small rescue border terrier to the vet, and that he's bleeding and seems to have an abscess. I was alarmed and confused because how could I miss something like that? When I arrived I found that they had trimmed him too close where they thought his tail was (he's doxxed and literally has no tail). He was clearly injured and they put it on me instead of taking responsibility. He was in pain for a couple days after. We decided to give them a second try, because mistakes do happen and some of the other team members I've interacted with have been great. We took our newest dog for her first grooming appointment today. I Was told it would take about 1.5 --2 hours. I confirmed my phone number to text me an alert when she was done. After approaching the 3 hour mark, I considered calling, but figured they were probably just busy on a Saturday. I then received a call from Jade informing me that my dog has been ready for an hour and I need to come right away. She repeatedly asked if my phone did not receive text messages even though this was the number I gave her to text. I repeatedly told her I do receive text messages on my iPhone, I've never had an issue receiving their text messages before. She saw that their message was undelivered and then said they've been having issues with their server, so it might be on their end but she's not sure. So instead of apologizing for the situation she lead by blaming me, and making it seem like I was being unresponsive and just leaving my dog there. I felt really uncomfortable by the exchange. They could have called sooner, or contacted the other number she confirmed earlier on the file if there seemed to be an issue. Instead my dog was sitting there for an hour after her appointment. She later said it was because my phone number was listed as "home" in their system and was a non-working number...Again, I never had issues receiving their texts...and why was the story changing? It's my phone, then it's their server, then it's how in was saved in their system. When I arrived, I shared that there's a pattern of a negative experiences, and tried to explain my perspective. I referenced my other dog's previous appointment, the injury, and how it was communicated in a similar style to today. Was told by Jade that she had nothing to do with that and I quote "I'm done talking about your injured dog" (as I was submitting my payment). Surprising, after she said she was the manager. I said I don't feel comfortable bringing my dogs anymore based on these experiences. I asked for the contact information to get in touch with an owner and was told they don't give out that information, but I could email her.

We initially believed we had found an ideal groomer because this facility promotes dog interaction, similar to a puppy daycare environment. Socialization was important to us, and during our first two visits everything seemed excellent. We were able to see our dog playing and interacting with other dogs on the live cameras, and he appeared to be having a great time. However, during later visits, we noticed a significant change. Our dog appeared to be kept in a crate from the time he arrived until pickup. We raised this concern with the owner, who assured us this would not happen again. Based on that reassurance, we decided to give the business another opportunity. Unfortunately, during the following visit we experienced the same issue. Our dog was not visible on the cameras and appeared to have been crated again. When we addressed this, we were told it was due to a miscommunication among staff members. We were again reassured that the issue had been resolved and would not occur in the future. Today, after not seeing our dog on the cameras for approximately two and a half hours, my husband called the facility to check on him. The staff member who answered the phone was dismissive and did not allow my husband to fully explain the situation. We referenced our previous conversations with Chris, the owner, who had assured us this would not continue to happen. The staff member responded that Chris was not present and stated that she needed to check in all dogs before allowing ours to be cage-free. At that point, our dog had already been there for two and a half hours, which raised further concerns for us. Due to the circumstances and the manner in which the call was handled, my husband informed them that he would be coming to pick up our dog immediately, as we were not comfortable paying for services where he remained crated the entire time. When my husband arrived, our dog was simply brought out and released to him. There was no explanation, acknowledgment, or apology offered. Based on our experience, I encourage other pet owners to ask questions and ensure they fully understand how their pets will be cared for during their stay.
