Three year update and I'm still taking the 30 minute drive here. Just like my hairstylist, when you find "the one", you do not change hairstylist unless they move out of state lol I love that she has become a regular. They know who Luna is when I call to make an appointment. I have no anxiety leaving her in their care and she gets so much love from them. And as always she smells so good! I've brought my two small dogs to them for a couple years. Noticed that one of my dogs would have big raw bleeding spots after he got groomed that lasted a couple days but the last straw was after grooming them for two years (one of my dogs had back legs that did not work). Decided I was abusive to the dogs and called the cops. After paying to get med records and dealing with the cops the situation was resolved. I later found two other customers whose dogs had the big raw spots after having their dogs groomed there. They are inexpensive but it's like getting your hair done at beauty school. It might be ok but not great. The work was just ok. Never good just ok. Kept going because of the cheap price. You definitely get what you pay for there for sure. read more

Scoo-B-Do's grooms cats! It seems like a no-brainer but most grooming shops will not. Every couple months wife has been bringing our cat here. It's an easy drop off and usually takes an hour and a half. The cat comes out looking good and smelling nice. read more

We brought in our old english sheepdog for her summer cut. When she came one she began licking her privates excessively and would not sit down. This continued for 2 days and we ended having to take her to the vet. Per the vet her vulva had been clipped during the grooming and no one at the groomer said anything had happened during her trim. This turned out to be the most expensive grooming due to the $190 vet bill. The cut was done on 5/4/21 and the dog is still not healed!!!!!! We recently had our cat Smokie groomed at Scoo-B-Do's. We are very happy with the results! They gave him a lion cut, and he looks so darn cute! Never took my cat to a groomer before, but wow is it hard to find a place that will actually do cats. I did all the research so you don't have to! I called around 10 places, and out of those 10, I think maybe 3 would do cats? Very reasonably priced as well. Not only is this place reasonable with their prices, but they're also very professional. I've been bringing my Keeshonds to Scoo-B-Do's in Dundee for years , and they consistantly do an excellent job. My one is very old and has had surgeries for her knee, bad arthritis, and skin issues from her past... they are so gentle, careful, and kind to her. One of my others isa very stubborn boy with separation anxiety and he is a challenge to say the very least. They love on him and make him feel comfortable, as well as making me feel like he is not a problem. I love this place and wouldn't trust anybody else with my babies. I never have to worry- they look appropriate and beautiful everytime, and my dogs are happy and not traumatized when they come home to me. read more

Iam a bit sad to have to report the grooming done on my Goldendoodle was pretty bad. Perhaps my last vist there was a different groomer. This time, after I picked him up, I took him to the dog park. Ant then I noticed, along with many others there that his grooming was, well, pretty uneven. The fur towards his backside was longer, which would be fine, but it was not even.. In fact there were several, and I mean several spots where longer clumps of fur were just "missed" and we're the original length. His head fur was uneven, and similar long patches of for just missed in the grooming. I got him home and spent a good 1/2 hr trimming him and attempting to even things out. The fur on the back of his legs did not match from one leg to the other.. Honestly, it seemed as though this was perhaps a very novice groomer. The last time I brought my dog there, the results were much better (obviously, I brought him back) but, although the people there are very friendly and loving to the dogs, I can give him that at home for free.. I wanted a grooming for my pet and think I may now have to bring him to Groomsmart to get him properly groomed. Sadly, I really can't recommend this place, at least from this experience. read more

They do a very nice job on my dog. He looks great after every visit and seems to be fine with the staff and groomers. They are very thorough, and he looks great. The shop is a small quaint place in East Dundee. If you are not familiar with the area, allow a few extra minutes to find it. They typically take a minimum of three hours, so plan accordingly. There were two other dog groomers that many of us were using in the area that don't service animals anymore, and this shop has taken many of us in. Great work overall. My only call out is that the shop owner (I think she is the shop owner) can be abrasive at times. Overall though, the quality of the work is really solid. read more

Brought my German Shepard in today for the 2nd time (he got into some gross stuff), he remembered the team and was excited about being there.
