The TUVE burger from Meme's Burgery is GOLD! Munster Cheese, Queso de Puerco, Fried Plantains, Pickled Red Onions, Butter Lettuce, Tomato, Chimichurri Sauce, Meme's Salsa Rosada, all on a thick delicious patty of meat goodness. I always test out a place w/their double bacon cheeseburger, but every visit after I try something different. This burger was absolutely perfect. Between the chimichurri & the pickled red onions the flavors just all go together so perfectly! Finished it off w/some of their churros bites served up w/an awesome caramel dipping sauce! Love this place & their options. The service is spot on every time. Friendly, great suggestions, & always on point. Only issue is they are a food truck & not a brick & mortar where I can sit & get messy enjoying their grilled up creations.

We have our favorites (mine is the tuve, my husband's is the donkey boy) but the specials have all been amazing too. Definitely order the fries and get a lovely beverage from tea crate (next door) to seal it off. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention the owners of Meme's are kind and helpful.

Sorry I want fresh made not warmed up food made for my request! One of the things I love about most Mexican restaurants is that they are so flexible with their menu! I was very disappointed and actually surprised that they don't cook to order! Everyone says how good the food is here , sorry they don't cook to order, I would have loved to try it but now I am not a fan.

Personally I get 2 or 3 flour asada tacos(steak, it is some of the best steak I've ever had on a taco), without the cabbage. I normally don't eat corn tortillas with my tacos but I will say the way he does his corn tortilla tacos make them really good and I even get the corn tortilla tacos sometimes. Side note: I really like the owner because he always trys to connect with you and after like 3 times who knew my order. He also is very passionate about what he does and is always trying out something new like dessert, fish tacos, etc and you can see/hear the excitement when he tells you about the new recipe he's going to try. He also always ask if the new recipe was good because he really wants to improve if necessary and add that item if people really like it. Plus his two sons also help when they can and I think it's amazing to see a family working together and a dad teacher his sons the family business.

I was excited to try it as it's not often you see a restaurant whose specialty is a baked potato. We were seated right away on a Monday for lunch. Our server was so sweet and took time to answer all of our questions about the menu. I decided to go with the Chicken, Bacon, Ranch loaded potato which was a touch choice as every potato on the menu sounded amazing. My husband got the Bourbon Blitz burger which was on special. Y'all....the potato was HUGE and the BOMB!! It had queso, shredded cheese, ranch, hand breaded chicken tenders, fresh bacon, onions, lettuce, and tomato. There was not one square centimeter on that spud that wasn't topped with something. My husband said his burger was the best he ever had which is saying a lot. The crinkle fries were just your basic frozen variety but they are fried in beef tallow which made them extraordinary. We both pretty much cleaned our plates and my husband kept moaning lol. I just left a couple bites of potato because of its colossal size but I gave it my best shot. If you are in Batesville, go try this place!! You will not be disappointed. Every plate we saw go by looked amazing. If you have room afterwards there is a delightful coffee shop in the library across the street called Rocket Brew which our server recommended.

The Bourbon Blitz Smashburger at Twisted Spud (Batesville)…read more Some burgers try to impress you. This one hits you square in the chest and then politely asks if you'd like fries with that. Twisted Spud's Bourbon Blitz Smashburger is what happens when a kitchen understands restraint and swagger at the same time. Let's start with the build. The double smash patties are pressed thin enough to get those deep, lacy, beef-forward edges--the kind that crackle when you bite in. That's not accidental. That's someone back there paying attention. The beef flavor leads, not the toppings, which is the first sign you're dealing with a serious burger. Then comes the pepper jack, melted just enough to coat the meat without hijacking it. You get heat, but it's controlled--no gimmicks, no cheap spice tricks. The bourbon glaze is where things turn special. Sweet, smoky, and just sticky enough to linger without drowning the bite. It's not dessert-sweet; it's confidence-sweet. The kind that knows exactly when to stop talking. Chipotle mayo adds a quiet, creamy warmth underneath everything--less "hey look at me" and more "you'd miss me if I weren't here." And those hand-breaded onion tanglers? Absolute chaos in the best way. Crunchy, savory, slightly wild--textural contrast that keeps every bite interesting all the way through. All of it comes together on a soft potato bun that actually understands its role: hold, support, and get out of the way. Paired with fries, this plate doesn't feel like bar food--it feels intentional. Thought through. Respected. Now let's talk about the vibe. The staff at Twisted Spud are exactly what you want in a place serving food like this: friendly without hovering, proud without being pushy, and clearly happy you're there. Service is quick, warm, and genuinely welcoming--the kind that makes you want to come back even before the check hits the table. Add to that multiple screens to watch some sports and have a drink with friends Bottom line: This isn't a "pretty good for a small town" burger. This is a flat-out good burger, period. If you're in Batesville and you skip Twisted Spud, that's on you. If you order the Bourbon Blitz and don't close your eyes on the first bite--check your pulse.

On a…read morewhim I just jumped on 555 and headed out west of Jonesboro to an ever growing area of Bono(Beau No not the singer). It seemed as though I had been hearing about a place on into town, so I wanted to explore the food scene in this little community a little more. As I was coming into town I noticed a little yellow unmarked food truck, not because there was a crowd really, but because there was a county cop and I didn't really want a ticket. A little further up the road I see this very sad site of a packed out Subway location like they were a delicacy or something. It was so sad to me in fact that I turned around in their parking lot to go back to that little yellow unmarked food truck just to give them some support since the locals seemed to want to feast on big chain Subway. HOLY SMOKES am I soooooo grateful I decided to turn back!!! This little joy bus was exactly what I've been looking for in this little corner of the state! As you can see in the pics, I went w/my usual first time visit order of the double bacon cheeseburger. Ordered it up and went to chill in the Bronco since the wind was so crazy today. After about 15 min I went back up to the window just to see if maybe I'd not heard my name called. This is where it got sideways. The customer before me had snagged my order. Completely not the fault of the sweet ladies hard at work, but the boss lady refused to let me pay and remade the order. It was ready in a flash and I opened it up to see one of the most beautiful DBCB I have ever seen! Again, it was so windy outside I couldn't enjoy it there, and I just knew I was gonna end up wearing this thing if I ate it in my ride. Short trip back to town to the house and to unwrap and dive in. The first bite sent chills down my spine! It was like I had struck gold!!!! My first thought was "I finally found it!!!" Then my next thought was about all those suckers who had to choke down a Subway sandwich when a stones throw away was the BEST BURGER in the Jonesboro area! Everything about this burger was exactly what I want it to be like. THICK hand made patties, fresh condiments, and the absolute best bacon ever put on a burger! The bacon alone made me want to drive back for a BLT, which might happen next week when I can get back over there. Before I walked away I tucked $20 in their tip jar, because I knew if it tasted as good as it looked I would lose sleep thinking I got that dream burger for free. They can mess up an order every time & I'll still wait in line to eat there again!!! Stop by and see those sweet ladies at Donya's Country Kitchen LLC (yellow food truck) in Bono & treat them like gold! They have officially taken over the #2 spot for burgers in Arkansas for me. That is some pretty high praise if you even know me a little.
