Food is okay...... terrible customer service... charged us for to go fee because they didn't want to let us sit inside..... lied about not knowing how to give refund.... The food was good but the employees really showed they didn't want to be there. We lost our appetite after listening and watching them being disrespectful to the district manager. They had no consideration for the customers. In 2 words, Never Again! read more

Waffle House has become an iconic presence on the culinary landscape here in the southeastern United States. It seems that their familiar logo beckons in all of its bright yellow neon glory road-weary travelers, partying college kids, parents with kids in tow, hungry workers seeking a casual and quick sit-down meal and just about everyone else from every walk of life. Since Waffle House opened its first location back on September 5, 1955 in Avondale Estates, Georgia, it quickly established itself by offering a consistent selection of food and by being open twenty-four hours a day. For me, the biggest appeal of Waffle House has always been their hash browns, which you can get basic or topped with a variety of toppings such as chili, white sausage gravy, cheese, ham, onions and so many more items and you can combine these toppings in a multitude of ways. For my main course, I have usually gone with their patty melts or one of their egg breakfast options. I myself can see the strangeness that I have never had a waffle in a business where waffle is in their very name, but I prefer a more savory breakfast than a sweet one. If you are in the southeast United States, odds are you have probably passed a Waffle House location. It seems that they are on almost every major highway exit ramp and strategically placed throughout most cities and towns in the southeast. If you see one, give them a try. read more

Dirty, dirty, dirty! I'm a fan of the Waffle House. When in the South I ensure to make them regular stops. However, I'll never be back to this location. It was filthy. The kitchen area which is in plain view was down right disgusting. The cook was preparing orders of scrambled eggs in the same bowl and with the same spoon as every other order. The bowl looked horrible. The food was ok but not great and served on dirty plates. They are short staffed but the current staff had time to laugh, joke and goof off so they had time to clean. Training is needed. read more

I always heard about the Waffle House, almost as a southern pop culture icon, mentioned even in Rap songs, so I had to try it! I ordered the Texas toast breakfast, a solid breakfast sandwich with eggs, bacon and cheese, served with hash brown and coffee. Good breakfast, but I don't see what the hipe is about! Service at this location on the other hand was excellent, very friendly employees, they deserve five stars. read more

Waffle House - Texas Bacon Angus Patty Melt With Hashbrowns - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Robinsonville, Mississippi

My 100th Review!!!! Reading the reviews here, I think some people are just way too picky! Waffle House is a must for travel through the south, and when I arrived in Mississippi for the weekend, there was no doubt where I'd be having my first breakfast. The wait time was negligible, and the staff of 8 were working very well together. As soon as tables were vacated, they were cleared and guests were seated. The grill line was well manned and food was coming out quickly enough for a busy Saturday morning. My waitress was a delight (I wish I had gotten her name to brag on her here!), and anything I for was brought immediately. She also checked in every so often. My coffee cup remained full and warm throughout the entire meal. The food was as good as it ever is at Waffle Housem The interior of the building was a typical Waffle House for me...no more or less dirty that I could tell from any of the ones I visit. The building is in an area with a run down shopping center, but that has nothing to do with the food or the service. I'd go again without hesitation next time I'm in the area for a trip. read more

Great Food. Service was a little slow. I appreciated the waitress making a fresh pot of coffee.

It's a Waffle House. It's a Waffle House. It's a Waffle House. It's a Waffle House. It's a Waffle House. It's a Waffle House. I just want to remind you, it's a Waffle House. Today my server was actually really nice. We were greeted, served, and ate all of our food. The entire staff, actually, seemed very nice as we interrupted several of them because we are awfully needy. They were especially nice to my hung over asshole little brother. That is a feat itself, I am proud of them for that. It's a Waffle House. It cannot go above 3 stars because the food is great. I can today because they made it a good visit. I left happy... all because of the staff. P.S. The place is nasty. Clean that shit up. read more

TRUST THE REVIEWS ON THIS ONE. One star is stretching. I'm pretty speechless about this one. First of all, I love Waffle House. It's a staple in our house and even on vacation we usually make our way to one. This was HANDS DOWN the WORST. It took 45 minutes from the time we sat down to get our order. Yes, they were busy, but they weren't busy enough to not be able to all stand in front of us (we were seated at the bar) and gossip. There is no urgency anywhere, it took us 15 minutes to just get acknowledged and our drinks. The place is dirty, the staff is rude and slow as hell. Two people tried to sit at the bar (there were three open seats) and one of the employees told them they couldn't sit there. They decided to leave, so the woman at the register started making fun of them? Absolutely ridiculous. Moral of the story- don't come here. read more

I have ever ate a restaurant and the food was good the second time. This wafflehouse did not fail me and that's why I'm writing a review at 4:34am!! The cook is great. D took the time to listen to my spouse tell him how how to cook his steak bc we used to food being over cooked and under seasoned. He was on point. Food was delicious. read more

Whoever gives this place more than one star is probably an employee. This has been our regular stop on the way home from the Blues Festival in Clarksdale, so we know what most Waffle Houses are like. We really don't expect too much, but this was disgusting. Everything was filthy. Flies and gnats on the dirty windows. Floors were uncleaned. Parking lot had trash in it, and please don't use the restroom. The staff was friendly enough, and all wearing masks, yet not covering their noses. We ate in a hurry and got out of there. This will no longer be a stop for us. read more

Going to almost any Waffle House is like stepping into a portal to an alternate dimension for just as long as it takes to eat your food. This one was no different, and had friendly service too. Honestly this location is probably even more surreal than most given that it's in the shadow of a cluster of half-abandoned casinos in the middle of cotton field Mississippi. Great experience good food read more

What the hell is going on... A few words to describe my experience at this waddle house , disaster , rubbish , cold food , shitty service and ice cold coffee. Will not be back. Had to ask for silverware , syrup , and remind the waitress after 45 minutes I needed a water refill. Cold food , burnt bacon. Go to a different restaurant... hell subway would be better. read more

The staff of 3 did an amazing job. It might be a little slow, they brought the food as they cooked each one by one for the all star breakfast, but that was a great starter for the situation. Two really friendly black women staffing the place and who obviously know how to cook some great southern food and southern hospitality, I can just imagine what they'd do with eggs on top of grits in their home cooking.. I just slightly suggested and they did exactly what we were hoping for. The place was clean, food was great and everyone friendly, certainly impressed me enough to think about writing a review which I don't often. read more

What's yellow, smelly, and a questionable dining option? You got it. Waffle House, of Robinsonville, Mississippi. We are all aware that Waffle Houses are not 5 star dining by any means, but after a long night, they do the job. Eggs, biscuits and gravy, Texas toast sandwiches...all those late night greasy options that for some reason you think will be a great idea to eat until the following day. As soon as we walked into this particular location, I was instantly regretting our decision. The way we were gawked at, you would think the Waffle House patrons had never seen four girls walk in for some eggs at midnight. Back off, I'm hungry! As we unsurely proceeded towards a booth, an unpleasant smell filled my nostrils. I didn't smell bacon grease and syrup like I had hoped. It simply smelled dirty. As we sat, and took a scan of the restaurant, debating whether to stay or go, we noticed three employees seated at the bar, puffing their cigarettes. I guess smoke breaks are taken inside with the customers in between orders. Yuck. It was time to decide how hungry we were and what else would be open at this late hour. Well, we were pretty frickin' hungry and didn't have any other options besides drive-thru fast food, which now doesn't seem like a bad option. Our particular sever was sweet, and our biscuits were soft as can be, but those two things alone can't bring a girl back. This Waffle House needs a scrub down before I'd be back for some late night biscuits and eggs. read more

Awful, horrible, no good, very bad staff at this Waffle House! I have been to numerous waffle houses all over the country & enjoy going there because the people are usually so friendly & I get a feeling of home. However, I don't think I have ever been treated so rudely at any business as this waffle house on Sat about noonish on10/23/21. The waitress deliberately ignored after we sat down. She turned her back to us & started talking to another waitress. I waited a bit & finally raised my hand to try to order, the other waitress said "i think she's trying to say hey to you - our waitress turned, laughed, gave us a dirty look and continued talking to other waitress. About 10 minutes later she finally came to take our order. Then she finally brought part of the order. I waited a while & she didn't return so I finally went up to the counter. Then she brought part of it, i waited again, went up to counter again & got another part, etc etc- when I finally got my waffle everyone was done so I got had to get mine to go. I want to make it clear that it was not because they were busy, the waitress was deliberately rude for some unknown reason. The food I didn't get to taste with the usual delicious waffle house breakfast. read more

we came in and immediately were told that they were closed when the restaurant was in fact filled with people, and also had more coming in that they were allowing to sit down and eat. I looked online and it said they were also open 24hrs. I believe that it was 100% discrimination in the fact that everybody allowed to stay was a certain skin color while the ones asked to leave were a different skin color. it also smelled so bad of weed and seemed as though the staff was partaking as well as good friends with the people that were allowed to stay. some of the worst service I've ever received at a Waffle House ever. every Waffle House I've ever been to I've never been turned down for service at any time of night or day. It could be that they actually were closing but it being that the internet said otherwise and that the person that walked in directly behind us was allowed to stay I don't believe so. read more

Waffle House Waffle House is just good. Breakfast anytime! It may be a chain, but they definitely cook it in front of you. It's a good place after the club or the bar. This time we went after a trip to Tunica. Everything is cooked to order. I like to get the all star special. It has such a variety. I added a side of gravy and made a sausage biscuit. The biscuits are just ok, but the meat and gravy are good. One of my friends wanted ham and sausage. Waffle House will let you customize your meal 100%. Gotta have some coffee with that meal. Decaf at night. You can't go to there and not have a waffle. The hashbrowns are one of the most fun things. They have like 10 ingredients that you can add. I got mine with everything except chili. Waffle House just hits the spot sometimes. Go to your local Waffle House! read more

Came to this Waffle House tonight on 1/3/2022 at 5:45 a.m. and nobody was in the restaurant. We stood there until 6:10 and there were no workers to be seen... we debated on calling the police because burners were still on and door was left unlocked with no employees. Finally someone walked from the back at 6:10 a.m. to inform us they did not have a cook and we needed to leave . Very weird experience lol read more

The staff was really friendly and prompt. The food was 4/5 for Waffle House food. We actually had a really pleasant experience. So why only 2 stars? The entire building, from the parking lot to every inch of the inside, was so incredibly and disgustingly dirty. There is literally no words to describe how bad it is. Think of the worst you could imagine and know it is 100x worse than that. This place clearly must need a new general manager. One who knows it's time to insist the restaurant close for three days for a deep clean. Then sees to it the staff has a proper cleaning schedule. Again, the staff was super friendly and the food was good. However, I cannot come back until it is cleaned up. read more

Has to be the worst waffle house I have ever been to. We were the only ones in the restaurant at 6:45 am 4 people working manager was doing inventory, 2 was sitting down and the cook came over after 5 mins to bring us coffee. It was cold. We asked a wai8that walked by if she could take our order her reply was I'm off the clock. To start I love Waffle House; walked in and they were pretty packed not unusual for a Waffle House that's right on the interstate and in the middle of nowhere. When waiting for our table the waitress cleaned it off but the towel she used fell out of her hand and on the floor . When I saw it fall I said to me myself surely no she's not but she did pick it up and (not) clean the table. Didn't she think we wouldn't see that...yeah lady we did. Food was really good but no surprise there it's Waffle House. There were flies flying around but I honestly think it was the same one pudding everyone off lol. The only problem I had with this Waffle House was the cleanliness really. I've been to other Waffle Houses that were spotless and the place was packed. read more

As this waffle house was near the casinos, I am sure they get a lot of inebriated individuals in here on a regular basis. However, that does not excuse the quality of the food. The patty melt I had seemed to have been cooked hours earlier and was just sitting on the grill waiting for someone to order it. The patty was EXTREMELY dry and over cooked. I asked for the has browns to be crispy but they were done as usual instead. The waitress however, Net, was extremely nice and did an outstanding job. I hope this patty melt was not indicative of there normal food. read more

I would give this place a zero rating because the service wasn't great and the food. As a chef I love coming to Waffle House but this place is a food inspectors nightmare. The floor was slippery and there was breed all over the ground. I had mystery objects in my sprite and the grits I got were lumpy and gross. Also the bacon was extremely over cooked. The cook spaces weren't clean and there slate flies everywhere. I'm here for another 2 days for my job and I put out on Facebook not to come to this location. So far everywhere I've gone to here has be gross. The server didn't get to us until 15 min later. There was one other family of 3 eating so it wasn't busy. read more

If only I could give it a '0'. This was the nastiest waffle house I ever been too, but the group was hungry and it was the only dining place around. The table was nasty, the floor had food all under our table and my silverware should have just been thrown away, Clorox couldn't get it clean. Luckily I had a plastic ware set in my purse. Went to visit Graceland and the local hotels were a bit pricey and not reviewed all that well--so I decided to stay at Harrah's Tunica. There's just about no where to eat around there other than casinos and the Waffle House.... First off I'm from California so when I walked in and saw people SMOKING I stopped dead in my tracks! Literally! WTH! Then I go as far away as is possible in this tiny place and sit on a bar stool because that's the only place to sit. So now I'm on a level that I can see everything--not good. This place would be shut down if it was in California! But I'm pretty darn hungry so I decide to suck it up. I order a medium rare burger with hash browns (no fries here) and the people behind the counter look at each other confused.... They told me that if I wanted my burger cooked that way I would have to sign the receipt... Again-WTH? So I say okay and I signed the receipt. The burger was well done anyway. The hash browns were okay. When I asked at the hotel where to eat -- they said the Waffle House! In my opinion someone should go in and use a high pressure hose and hose it all down. read more

Pulled into parking lot noticed two female employees sitting in the car...walked in the place not one employee to be seen. After about 4 mins one of the employees walked in and straight to the back to inform the manager she had customers. After I placed my order. with the first employee the said manager finally came to the front ,took her a seat across from me and went to sleep. As I start to look around the place I noticed how fifthy it was, dirty dishes under the sink, floor behind counter nasty, waffle makers looked like they had not been cleaned in days.by this time the second employee walked in. When I was bought my food which was a waffle and bacon, the plate was full of grease. Now there are more customers coming in and guess what the manager has moved to the corner and still sleep. I will never eat there again and the meal wasn't worth the pay. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. When my family and I arrived, all of the tables were dirty and when we asked for the one we wanted to sit at to be cleaned, the staff was reluctant and slow to do it. The entire restaurant was disgusting. There was food and other yucky stuff all over the floor and the menus and condiments at the tables were dirty and icky as well. This was enough to spoil my appetite. Staff was not welcoming or friendly at all and they all seemed like they did not want to be there. The service was terrible. No one came to the table to check and see how things were going and we practically had to shout to get staff's attention when were in need of something like more water, an extra fork, etc. As for the food, it was rather good, but the overall atmosphere and environment killed my enjoyment of the food, thus there is not much else I can say about that. We will not be coming back here again. Waffle House, fix your act. read more
