The gutter guys were great! I called around to many places to get a rough estimate on how much it would cost. Nearly every place I called wouldn't give me a rough estimate even though I had a rough estimate of length of gutters, size, and linear feet of downspout. I called and spoke to the 2 ladies at the front desk (I apologize for not remembering your names). They gave me a rough estimate on gutters and downspouts that was very close to the actual quote! The price was so good and fair I decided to add their proprietary gutter guard to the order. I scheduled the official quote with them. The next friday after I called I met their representative Matt Kohler. He was very professional and not a pusher salesman like I have had in the past (i.e. power home remodeling, window nation, vivant). He was very knowledgeable and honest about the project and what it required. I even asked him if I should upgrade my downspouts to the commercial size and he eloquently explained how it was not needed for a residential type home that I have. He also explained how if I had their gutter guard installed they would guarantee my gutters for life in case of a clog. This is very important to me because it can be difficult for me to get on the roof of my home to clean them. Also, who really wants to clean their gutters anyways! I decided to sign a contract with him that day. Now to today. There was a minor issue where they were unable to get ahold of me to schedule the work. I woke up and noticed a gutter guys truck sitting out front of my house. I walked outside and spoke with Danny. He told me that there was an issue with their office getting ahold of me and that he was told to come by and get the work done (as I had already given them my credit card information and authorization to charge it). Danny was not a fan of this idea and he wanted to speak with me personally before they started the work. I felt that this was a very professional move for him as he was worried I may not be ready for the charge to hit my credit card. Needless to say I was very impressed with his concern for my financial stability. I gave them the go ahead to get the work done and before I knew it they had my old gutters down and the new ones formed. Manny is a very hard worker! He was the first up on the roof and the last one down. He was very maticulus and took great care as he folded back the singles so they wouldn't break as he placed the gutter guard under them. Danny was always approachable throughout the project. If I had a question he would answer it almost immediately or would ask one of the other guys who was working on it to get me the right answer. Danny took care of my downspouts and the gutter guard on the back of my house. He noticed some issues where the downspouts terminated into my corrugated drain system and he fixed them for me without question. Jerry was also great. He expertly fabricated my new gutters and assisted the other guys whenever they needed help. He did not stop once while on my project. He also was able to answer any questions that I had while Danny was up on a ladder working on my downspouts or gutter guards. All in all my whole experience was great! I have had many bad experiences with other companies that only care about the bottom line like window nation. This company is far from it. They handle your project the same whether it is a high dollar project or a simple repair. They are always professional and treat you with respect. I highly recommend this company! read more

Today, January 26, 2017, I had the pleasure of meeting Dan and five men of the well trained installation crew at my house. The job consisted of approximately 99 feet of 5 inch K style seamless gutters. Heavy duty hidden hangers were used and gutter guard was also installed. The existing gutters were removed. Approximately five weeks prior I had the pleasure of meeting Matt who was very cordial and who took the time to evaluate how best to accommodate what I was tying to accomplish. Matt understood my priorities and we signed a contract at our first meeting. The crew arrived early this morning. They were all cordial and asked if I had any questions. Soon they began the work to remove the existing gutters. Unfortunately the gutter making machine would not start so they promised that they and Dan would return later. The office staff also called to let me know when Dan and his crew would arrive. Now there are two crews working with the Boss. That is excellent service. The job involved working three stories high from extension ladders. Every man on the job was an accomplished ladder climber. If you ask me...I would say they are almost too accomplished. Everyone worked together and I could tell that Gutter Guys was a great place to work for. I watched all aspects of the job and it appeared to me that the entire crew was trained in all aspects of the work involved. Everything seemed seamless just like the gutters. As the afternoon passed the wind grew stronger. Wisely, Dan ended work for the day and scheduled the completion in a matter of days. I was impressed with the quality of the work, the politeness of all the workers and how they came together after the gutter making machine failed to start. Hopefully the days of me cleaning the gutters is now done and the gutter guard will do the job as I expect it to. Next year I hope to proceed to the gutters on the second level and look forward to working with Matt, Dan and the crews again. Before I signed the contract with the Gutter Guys I met with two other gutter companies. I evaluated the different products and did research on all of them. In my opinion the Gutter Guard installed by the Gutter Guys is the best product. Time will now tell how well it works. At this time for all the reasons above I do recommend the Gutter Guys. I didn't want gutter guards! My wife and I bought a new (old) house and I wanted to treat new gutters with the same general disdain I have to the one billion different cabinet choices I learned the existence of during our kitchen remodel! Meaning, we put a man on the friggin' moon, but someone hasn't developed the best "kitchen box," or the best "water relocation system!" Why can't I just get some working gutters for Pete's sake! Well, apparently my slate roof is not super simple when it comes to drainage, and apparently the pitch of the gutters is important, and after speaking with James from the Gutter Guys, he made me understand why I needed to pay attention to some things I never thought of. Like those stupid, tiny, helicopter leaves, from my neighbor's stupid tree! I actually have a background in engineering, so the nerd in me actually found it interesting how their system worked, and in both demonstration and theory it worked well. So, we decided to give them a go! Well, it actually rained the day after they were installed, and I have to say they seem to work great. We usually have a great deal of evidence of drainage problems after it rains, and we saw nothing. The new gutter guards were the only variable that changed... Because I want to be honest, I will tell you that their installers screwed up our hose reel, but seemingly not on purpose. While they were cleaning out the gutters for installation they tried to pull it a bit too far, and broke it. However, I don't mind honest screw ups as long as they are made right, and it only took one quick call to get a new hose reel, which was kind of refreshing. So, I have to give them two thumbs up so far, because they sent someone out for an estimate quick, James was friendly as can be during our estimate, the installation was quick and basically went without any headache, and the minor one created was fixed with ease. I will update this review if and as needed, but all early signs point to this purchase being a great decision. read more

The Gutter Guys provided great service. The appraiser, Matt, showed up when promised and patiently explained everything thoroughly, particularly their patented gutter technology. They scheduled me a week later. The installers were prompt and courteous, completing the front and back (about 90 feet) in 2.5 hours or so using a crew of guys, Steve, Donnie, and Joe. The lead guy explained there was no rafters rotting, no damage to my soffit/fascia and that they got a good pitch on each gutter. Both appraiser and installer explained that their gutters are covered by lifetime warranty. The installer even stated that I was to call them once I started the work of adding a roof over my deck because they needed to remove and reinstall that portion for free in order to maintain the warranty. The lifetime warranty even transfers with sale of the home, a great selling point. I don't think the cost is so cheap, but you pay for excellent service, product, professionalism and warranty. My wife and I contracted with the Gutter Guys in Oct. 2015 to have all new gutters and gutter coverings installed at our house. The crew of Rob, Keith and Meka arrived on 11/20/2015 to do the installation. My wife and I are totally satisfied with the job they did. They arrived and immediately got to work. After removing all of the old gutters, they proceeded with the installation. We really like the gutters and their coverings. The crew cleaned up everything on our property. Except for the new gutters, you could not tell that they had been there. I especially liked the way they installed the down spouts. They were installed in such a way that the down spouts have no movement at all. Rob showed me how to clean the "smutz" away from the coverings with the special telescoping brush, which was mine to keep. Promptly after I contacted the Gutter Guys, James scheduled an appointment. He arrived on the day and time, inspected my current system, and offered three options. He described and explained each option thoroughly and patiently answered all of my questions. A few days later, I called to change my order which was handled with no problems. I was called around 4 weeks later as promised to schedule the exact date. A two-man crew arrived on the date and on time. They discovered two downspouts clogged at ground level where they drain underground and two that needed elbows replaced. Replacing the downspouts and elbows did not affect the final cost, I paid the estimate on the contract (minus 10% discount as Angie's List member). The sales rep did a good job helping us understand the pros and cons of installing gutter guards over existing gutters vs. new gutters and guards. Since we had already installed 6 in. gutters on the front of the house to manage water run off, gutter guards were installed there and 5 in. gutters/guards were installed on the rest of the house. The crew (Danny, Brandon, Shawn, Rob and Mike) did a great job. They cleaned existing gutters and downspouts in addition to installing the new gutters and guards. They were also gracious enough to tack down a piece of loose siding for us at the peak of our house. We had an extremely heavy rain storm a week or so after installation and noticed an issue with water overflow in the back corner of the house. I had the upper gutters and down spouts replaced on my home. James D. came on time for our appointment to review the project and give an estimate of the work to be performed, he was easy to work with and through in his work; the estimate was very reasonable for the work being performed. Because I had to go out of town for a while he was able and willing to work around my schedule. The work, supervised by Josh S., was performed quickly (on a very cold day) by his crew with no damage to the house or surrounding plants. The Gutter Guys are wonderful. My next door neighbor used them and highly recommended them to us. So when we needed a new downspout, they came to the rescue. They showed up at the time they promised - actually a little earlier - were very polite and courteous, answered all of our questions throughout the process, and did a fantastic job. I'm one who likes to keep my property tidy, and once the men were finished, you couldn't even tell they had been there which was wonderful. Perhaps a good company, but a very sketchy installation crew. When they installed our gutters in summer 2013, the crew tried to leave off a ten-foot horizontal run of copper gutter that I had paid for, so that water from the upper downspout would run over my porch roof before entering the lower gutter. Luckily I noticed it before paying. The foreman told me that he and the crew had debated whether or not I needed that section of gutter and decided against it. I told him that my price estimate included that section of gutter, then he said that "the estimators lie" about what products will be installed and he tried to charge me cash for the copper run. Finally when I mentioned that I would call the company to set things straight, he said never mind and the crew grudgingly installed the horizontal run. read more

Absolutely the best gutter cleaning service we have found in Baltimore. We have a very tall home and need a service or we'd do it ourselves. The first company we used jacked us for three times what these guys charged and they left all of the leaves all over the ground. The Gutter Guys gave me a quote via email, I left a check under my mat and they were done without me having to be here. The gutters were spotless - I mean SPOTLESS! - and there was no sign they were even there with all of the leaves taken with them. I cannot recommend them enough. Are they cheap, no. I had the gutter guys at my house today. Josh K., Zac and Andrew. I received a reminder call for the appt. about 5 days ahead of time with detailed instructions in case I wasn't home. These men arrived as scheduled and went straight to work. I hadn't had my gutters cleaned in three years so there was a lot of work to do. They finished in a timely manner and they didn't leave any mess around the house like some companies do. They took all the debris with them. They were very polite and courteous. Gutter Guys installed covered gutters and downspouts on our house. They were very professional and efficient; pricing was on the high side, but not unreasonable. We've had several heavy rainfalls since and everything seems to be working perfectly - far superior to the old gutters they replaced which had separated from the fascia and the resulting heavy drip was causing some water infiltration in the basement. None of that now. Real test will be in the Fall when leaves and pine needles come down. Then we will see if the covered gutters really work as represented, but everyone i've talked to who has them says they do. We will see. read more

Gutter guys showed up on time. It was a two person team. I was asked if I had any questions prior to the gutters being installed. It took about 2 1/2 hours to complete the job. Everything was cleaned up; all old gutters taken away. The lead worker was paid and I was provided with a receipt. The installation looked good as there were two locations for gutters. One gutter install on a second floor flat roof and the other on a section of a third floor flat roof. So far so good. It will be quite a while before any weight (ice or snow) hits the gutters. They came out august 11,2015 and my house looks like a new home, they also fixed for no extra cost some dry rot wood i had and extra 12 feet of downspout i need .i live in elkton its a good distance from Baltimore. On august 19 we got rain for two days i found a small drip and call them. they came out a different group of men on august 21 to look and fix it . it was do to a problem with my roof ,not their gutters ,but they went ahead and fix the problem for me. This was the perfect company for my job. I bought a modest home in Baltimore and renovated it. Suffice it to say there were no gutters. The gutter guys came and did everything in one day. The best part was that I did not need to be at home. There was one little change that I wanted to make and they did it right away. Also, they did not try to up sell me. They could see that there was no tree coverage so they just sold me a basic gutter. A lot these gutter companies are pushing fancy gutter guards and the like and are juicing the prices unnecessarily.
