We had several quotes come in for a new roof. We had some real bad storms a couple months ago and…read moreended up having 3 different leaks from the roof pop up. We decided to go with Victors for the new roof based on their reviews so I find it important to post this to prevent you from selecting this company. They took care of 2 of the 3 leaks. Don't get me wrong the new roof looks great but it's about quality and customer service more than anything. The last leak was by our chimney and caused specifically from a bad flashing. On our invoice it stated they were installing a new chimney flashing. They didn't and reused the same old one but turned it as it had exposed holes and has no edge coming out. I called them after the install to let them know it was still leaking in the same exact spot as before. They sent a warranty guy out and he said our issue is that we have no home wrap around the chimney so it's leaking inside the house. He tossed in a section for us and put some caulking on it and said should be good but we should put home wrap on the rest still. Rained again and still leaking through the ceiling. Called them again and they said they wouldn't assist us until we put a home wrap on. That wasn't an acceptable response to me as we just paid cash and paid in full for a new $23k roof. We hired a roofing company because we had leaks coming in through our ceiling in the house. We paid them money and now they aren't even calling us back or showing an ounce of care. I made threats of posting bad reviews and they said someone would call and they still haven't and it's been days now. All because they charged us for a new chimney flashing, told us they would make sure a solid barrier was up surrounding the chimney to prevent future leaks and at the end of the day they just reused the same faulty equipment. This company isn't worth your headaches that you'll get from dealing with their customer service departments. If they just did what they said they would do or even fix what was supposed to be fixed originally then I wouldn't be here posting this.

The color I wanted was very specific and it was hard for me to find a company that would offer any colors outside of the general 15 or so standard colors that you can find on most gutter companies websites. I called the Gutter Boys, who had 3 different color palettes to choose from, got my quote on a Thursday and the install on that next Tuesday. They kept me updated on the schedule, were on time for my appointments and were very quick with getting my project completed. The price was more than fair and since this was my first time ever getting new gutters on ny house, they understood where I was at and I never felt like any of my questions were dumb. After looking at it I decided I couldn't fix it myself, instead I contacted The Gutter Boys based on the Yelp Reviews. At this point they said they were so busy they could only quote on replacing all of the gutters, I figured it cost me nothing to get the quote. The quote was reasonable for the size of the job, but more then I wanted to spend, so I let them know that I did not want to move ahead with the job. A couple of weeks later they contacted me and let me know that they would quote on replacing only the back gutter. This came in and was still a bit higher then I wanted to spend. After another couple of weeks they sent a revised quote that was about 20% lower at which point I decided to go ahead with the job. Getting the job started was easy, you log onto their website, review and approve the contract and put down a 50% deposit. Once this was done they scheduled the job in less then a week. On the scheduled day they came out while I was at work, took down the old gutter, put up the new gutter and downspouts and cleaned up the jobsite. A very nice job all the way around. I never had an contact with any of their personnel other then by text and phone, but they got the job done fast and professionally.
