Great experience with this company. The project I hires them for was a brand new gutter install on my house. The color I wanted was very specific and it was hard for me to find a company that would offer any colors outside of the general 15 or so standard colors that you can find on most gutter companies websites. I called the Gutter Boys, who had 3 different color palettes to choose from, got my quote on a Thursday and the install on that next Tuesday. They kept me updated on the schedule, were on time for my appointments and were very quick with getting my project completed. The price was more than fair and since this was my first time ever getting new gutters on ny house, they understood where I was at and I never felt like any of my questions were dumb. Had an issue with the gutter on the back of the house, half of the gutter came down in one of the late season snow storms. After looking at it I decided I couldn't fix it myself, instead I contacted The Gutter Boys based on the Yelp Reviews. At this point they said they were so busy they could only quote on replacing all of the gutters, I figured it cost me nothing to get the quote. The quote was reasonable for the size of the job, but more then I wanted to spend, so I let them know that I did not want to move ahead with the job. A couple of weeks later they contacted me and let me know that they would quote on replacing only the back gutter. This came in and was still a bit higher then I wanted to spend. After another couple of weeks they sent a revised quote that was about 20% lower at which point I decided to go ahead with the job. Getting the job started was easy, you log onto their website, review and approve the contract and put down a 50% deposit. Once this was done they scheduled the job in less then a week. On the scheduled day they came out while I was at work, took down the old gutter, put up the new gutter and downspouts and cleaned up the jobsite. A very nice job all the way around. After Gutter Boys cleaned my gutters, the crew left my brand new Trex deck damaged, scratched the decking the entire distance of the gutters. Extremely disappointed in the lack of care taken by the crew to protect the homeowners property, and Gutter Boys management for not following up to resolve! Contacted the business numerous times to resolve, left numerous voicemails which have not been returned. Damage has not been addressed, compensation never received, issue is still outstanding!! Flushing was not done. It is difficult to see all the parts of the gutter to inspect for complete work but I just found a section not done beyond the 30 day call back period. They completed the job in just a couple of hours. I asked for and received a QUOTE from Gutter Boys for a gutter cleaning at my home. I never authorized or approved the work. I had the work completed by another service provider in December 2025. In January, I received an invoice for the work from Gutter Boys. I immediately responded via email, shared a copy of the paid invoice from the other service provider, and informed them this work had never been approved (and was uncertain if it was actually completed, as it was exterior gutter cleaning). I followed up with multiple calls that were never returned. Gutter Boys submitted the invoice as unpaid to the credit bureaus. Given the damage to one's credit score from something like this, I paid the Gutter Boys invoice. Very unprofessional/disappointing. Consistent with some other complaints I saw. read more

They showed up on Christmas Eve without notice, left more than half of my gutters unserviced due to ice, and used a leaf blower instead of the contracted hand-removal method. ! This is the 2nd or 3rd year we have used Gutter Boys to clean our gutters. Up until this year, I would have recommended them. But something has drastically changed in their business. We requested our gutter cleaning to take place 12/1 or that week after. This past Monday 11/27, my husband noticed a truck in our driveway. One guy was already on the roof cleaning gutters. I was surprised they were earlier than requested. But no big deal. I told the guy to let me know if they had any questions. The next thing we noticed is that they left as soon as they were done. Never knocked on the door to let us know they were finished. My husband found the invoice tucked behind a Christmas decoration on our front porch. The invoice was for someone else's name and address, further down our street. I immediately called Gutter Boy's office and tried to explain that their cleaning crew may have done the wrong house. After speaking with 2 different people, I was assured that the correct invoice would be in my email the next day. Two days later, still nothing. So I called yesterday and got their voicemail. I explained the situation again and asked for someone to call today. I get a call about noon from the gutter cleaning crew, who are now in my driveway wanted to clean the gutters they just cleaned 3 days ago!!! Same guys. I can't believe they didn't recognize me or my house. I explained the entire situation again. He made me out an invoice and left. Total unprofessional service from everyone involved. Gutter Boys responded promptly to my inquiry. Someone came out within two days to complete an estimate and was able to schedule my gutter replacement. Was given a timeline of 2-3 weeks but the job was completed the following week. There were reasonable updates about the scheduling and possible delays due to weather. The bad was after l made several calls and text messages to the office personal. I finally got them to show up at my house to install gutter guards. Five weeks later. The one installer discovered that on one side of my house the wood board, one half of the wood board, the wood was rotten and needed to be replaced. I asked how much will that cost?? He said probably $200.00. l said fine go ahead and fix it. Much to my surprise Gutter Boys is calling me saying l owe a extra $1000.00 for replacing that rotten wood. I refuse to be ripped off. I have used them to clean my gutters and downspouts several times over the past few years, though I am starting to question if they are even doing the service, and not just billing me instead. Recently I had them quote me to do some actual repairs around the house. I paid half and they gave me a date a few days later on when service would be performed. The day came for the service and someone called stating they were on the way. Once I made it home I noticed they only completed one task from the list of repairs. There was no note or communication from Gutter Boys on what happened, or when the work would be finished. I had to text them to follow up. They have now did the same thing for the last two weeks. Three weeks in a row of the same thing, except today no one called to say they were on the way. No idea what is going on or if they plan to ever finish the work, but this is the worst communication from a company I think I have ever seen. Had 34 feet of gutter replaced along with downspout gutterboys broke off clay pipe below grade and never bothered to inform me. This is not a way to replace downspout and leave it below grade they still have not repaired damage work was done December 2024 they did return to solve standing water in gutter because it was not sloped after five months of calls. Adam and his colleague were dispatched to assess the situation, which they determined needed a modification to the downspout. Additional material was expertly installed and the problem solved. After 2 years I offered to pay and they did not charge me for this, the door was wide open for them to take advantage. They mess up my whole house gutter system. They have ripped me off and they didn't care that they sent 3 guy to work at my home were I smelled them smoking pot and I had to leave to go back to work I came home late and did not see the nightmare till the next day. They are cheaters I seen the invoice that they used 18 feet of wood. Their was no wood behind the gutter were I knew there was not wood because this was the spot a bird was getting in the home and they put a Screw in the air to look like they did the work. I could see that it was in the air and no fascia board replaced. On upon finding this I checked all the other gutters and found that the pitch was wrong. IT was making the water go up hill not down the drains. The piece that goes inside the downspout was raised so the gutter would have to fill halfway up before the water would drain. Sure, I have found other holes in places where the fascia was not replaced as it was in the contract to do so as needed. They were to fix and replace the whole house gutter system job. In all of the gutters replaced on my home they have been installed improperly and already are pulling off of the house in location. When I called customer service they said they will send somebody out on Monday that's a week away. They were not apologetic whatsoever They were not concerned whatsoever about the job that was done I got attitude from the woman that I spoke to and I had to call them back to make sure that they are going to be here when I'm going to be here because I wanted to point this stuff out to whoever they're sending because I could not even get a name or anything and they'll be here in a 5 hour window when it is convenient only for them even though they have inconvenienced me and tore up my whole house and left a mess all over the yard because all I did all afternoon was pick up screws everywhere. During one of their gutter cleanings, they tore two small holes in one of our screens. No big deal really so we went out and got them repaired at a reasonable cost, and they refused to pay for the repair. We were deeply saddened by this because we used them many times. They go to the house yesterday, complete the clean and then invoice me. I had to call them, like "what about the repair?" I called concerning gutter cleaning. I was offered and accepted a plan that included cleanings twice a year back in October or November of last year. I haven't seen them nor heard from them since. I received a notice of violation from the city of South Euclid, which included gutter and downspout cleaning, and I had to reach out to them again to try to get in compliance with a city ordinance. Had they followed through with enrolling me in a cleaning plan, I'm sure I would be in compliance with this particular ordinance. I have until June 27 to comply. read more

BUYER BEWARE! I scheduled gutter cleaning for a garage only and was told it would be between July 11 and July 20th. It was for my elderly mother, so I requested that I be contacted the day ahead so that someone would be there, and they agreed. To my suprise, I received an invoice on July 10th stating that the work had been completed. They even sent me pics of the garage gutters with the gutter screens on to verify that it was the correct garage. From the pics, you could not see in the gutters, but it showed their ladder, a hose, and water on the ground. I called them to verify that the work had been done and was assured it had been, so I promptly sent payment. On July 12th, I had the gutters inspected and absolutely zero work had been done. The gutter screens had never even been removed and the gutters were completely full of trash with moss growing in them. I immediately disputed the credit card charge and notified them. After two emails with their customer service, they apologized and said there were miscommunications about it being the garage only (really?! after verifying with pics?), and they would refund my payment. read more

We contracted with The Gutter Boys to install gutter guards for $2500 on our new house that is on a wooded lot.. They were out within a week or so to do the job. We was impressed that they were able to do the job in less than 1.5 hours. We had some issues with rain coming over the gutters, and Shandale dispatched a crew to fix the issues. While they were here to fix the issue we were having, they made some recommendations for us to consider. I would recommend The Gutter Boys to fix your gutter issues. read more

They did a satisfactory job with the gutters but left debris all over my roof, much of it within a reach of the gutters, all of which was going to end up right back in my gutters. I asked them to come back, and they did. This time they got about 75% of the debris, but their "technician's" car left oil on my driveway. Another call, more Email and messages via the website: for two weeks they promised they'd come clean up the oil, but they haven't. Hiring someone to clean your gutters shouldn't be so hard. EDIT: Today, a crew showed up to clean the valleys (already done). I showed the crew leader the oil stains, and he apologized, took responsibility for the problem, and went to Lowes and bought an assortment of things to try to tackle the problem. He said he was a contractor for Gutter Boys and asked that I please not blame Gutter Boys, that this was his problem. A nice young man who took responsibility, and for that I am appreciative. The people are friendly however working with the gutter boys is too inefficient. 1.They only communicate is via phone calls and every time I talk to the sales rep, it's always different sales rep so I have to repeat myself multiple times depending whom I talk with. 2. Scheduling is another issue, my original gutter cleaning was scheduled for week of 04/04 but the actual work didn't get it done till a month later which resulted in my gutter failure due to heavy weight in leaves. 3. The gutter replacement was quoted 3 times higher than the other vendor I got quoted from. My suggestion is to obtain quotes from multiple vendors as I found out later gutter boys wasn't as competitive as I thought. My insurance also quoted the same price as the other vendor. In summary, the lack of communication, inefficient ways to handle customers among multiple sales reps, and the expensive cost are the main reasons why I'm giving one star. I have no doubt that the workers are nice, hardworking people but the company's system on running business needs a lot of improvement. read more

The worst part was the crew left my gate open which I didn't know they opened and my dog escaped. He was almost hit by a car and luckily I got him home. Overall, I rate them well, especially the rep they sent to give me an estimate, Steve Roth. Very helpful, genuinely friendly and focused on meeting my budget by being able to do the work in stages. He was not high pressure., unlike a competitor who came earlier and quoted a ridiculous price. The installers did a fine job but they need to pay closer attention to clean-up. There was some debris left in my bushes and grass and a few screws left in my driveway. I was contacted by a rep who apologized and promised to improve in the future. During the recent cleaning the crew put two holes in our screen while moving ladders. I sent them and pictures of the holes and an invoice for the repair, which was around $41.00, and they refused to pay for the damage. I have used this company several times before and for my loyalty they were going to charge me $300 to come out and put up a downspout and repair a gutter and that was just to come out. I have sent customers here and since I rehab homes I have used them on a couple of rehabs and my personal residence and this is the thanks I get. They are only getting a star bc Seth was helpful.
