Answer: DEEP fried or grilled. Now I am intrigued. I had an eager look on my face, and I was assured, "Honey, deep fried is the way to go." I added an over-medium egg, cheese and mustard. The fries came out fast, and could have used another minute in the fryer for my preference. But they were krinkle cut which I always enjoy. And the paper boat held WAY more than I expected or needed. And then the sandwich arrived on a tiny paper. Unpretentious yet magnificent! The bologna edges had crisped to perfection. The mustard, egg yolk and American cheese blended to golden bliss as I enjoyed this sandwich. The server was very friendly to our table of obviously out-of-towners. I am pretty sure the staff knew all the other customers by name. I debated on the 5-star review, but the place is a dive bar with good food. So I would want others to come after me to know it isn't fine dining. Going in, knowing what to expect will give others a good chance of enjoying this establishment!

The workers were so friendly and helpful. They clearly know the regular customers and they stayed busy. My friend and I aren't familiar with Van Wert and the staff was happy to recommend local businesses for us to visit while he hung out. We were there on a Saturday morning and it was busy, but there's ample seating so it was fine. It was cute inside and the enjoyed the exposed brick walls.
