But I digress Okay, so why should we care about existence, or lack thereof, of our avian friends? Well, I have a conspiracy theory: the reason this truck is invited to breweries is because the oceanic levels of salt will make sure your beer is always full! However, this falls apart quickly when you realize Barrel House Z and Vitamin Sea are family friendly establishments, and have big jugs of self-serve water. Don't worry - I am not throwing shade. While I do believe my critique of their salt levels is valid, this wasn't enough to cost them a star. This truck has everything else going for it, and it became an instant favorite among food trucks for me! First things first: the service here is incredibly friendly and kind! As for the food: I had the opportunity to try the Chicken Bacon Ranch Fries, the Meatball Sliders, and the Tacos. Across the board: the portion sizes are huge, and the value is excellent! Everything comes out hot and fresh, too! The meatball slider had a gentle consistency, and delightful sweet and spicy notes. The CBR fries were, true to their name, loaded with ingredients! As for the tacos, while not the most authentic in the world, they were overflowing with meat, had plenty of sauce and veg, and interestingly cheese in between the two tortillas (which helped everything stay together!) Finally, I am also a fan that their menu seems to rotate! Never a dull moment! Thus, I would say that the Meat & Cheese project gets an "A."

After mulitple searches and many recommendations we settled on Bark BBQ in Plymouth. I was in contact with one of the owners letting them know that we would be coming for my husbands birthday on a Wednesday and for lunch. I was hoping they would have candles which they did and the communication was very easy. Once we walked in (the restaurant is on Court St in Plymouth) but not near the center. It wasn't hard to find, but I was trying to make it a surprise so I put the closest place that I could find in Maps. I immediately knew the owner. I actually read all about his story from the beginning. I love it when I can support a husband and wife duo who own and operate a small but mighty restaurant together. I will try and not make this so long, but it is cute inside with tavern like table and chairs, a big selection to choose from, and really nice and passionate people. We shared the 3 meats and 3 sides. Now, I don't normally eat BBQ, but let me tell you we both devoured almost everything we ordered (hello leftovers). I personally loved the brisket and fall-off the bone ribs OMG. The cole slaw, potato salad, and baked beans were also delicious. We also washed everything down with one of their Kolsch beers from Mayflower brewery. And, for dessert we shared their banana pudding...probably the best I have ever had. If you are looking for a great BBQ place this IS WORTH THE DRIVE. From the scrumptous food to the nice staff and owners, we absolutely will be back. Only about 40 ish minutes from Quincy but even if you live a bit further, definitely make the trek to Bark BBQ because you won't be disapppointed. Cheers~

It's right off the main road in Plymouth and there's a lot of parking. Inside the place pretty spacious there's a lot on the menu that they offer but if I'm gonna go there, I need to try the ribs and mac & cheese I have to say it was pretty impressed. They have their own barbecue sauce with a few to pick from and the prices are really good if you're in the area you should definitely come out and try this place. It's worth the drive.
