Review trap. Not sure why this place has such high reviews. The staff was pleasant and attentive but the food unfortunately came up really short of my expectations. I ordered the Reuben and my wife got a classic burger. It was obvious the ingredients were not fresh but come from the freezer and/or from a nearby bulk-buying grocery store in lieu of sourcing fresh, local ingredients. I consider myself to be an excellent home cook and we have a knack for finding great eateries, so it's rare when I experience a place whose food is well below my own cooking ability. The service is good, the staff was quick, and attentive. The restaurant is clean. We ate here several times while visiting the area two years ago and enjoyed it very much. Ate here again today and the portions were smaller, and the quality wasn't as good. The home fries were orange, had green peppers, seemed like they had been boiled instead of fried and were various sizes with the larger ones being crunchy and for me inedible. The biscuits were super dry and crumbly. But we also had an omelette that was good and the hash browns were good. So, not a bad place, just not the place I'm going to drive out of my way to get to again. read more

This is my favorite place in town. I absolutely love their vanilla waffle, their triple decker turkey club, and their french fries with homemade fry sauce are delicious. I also love their grilled cheese with ham on sourdough. The ham is thick and quality meat. The bread is always grilled to perfection. Oh! And their homemade strawberry jam is my daughter's absolute favorite. Everything is amazing. I try something new each time and I've never been disappointed. I could eat here every day! And the staff is lovely. They know my drink is always an Arnold Palmer and bring it when I sit down. Such kind people. A real gem!! read more

Okay, my google GPS did a much better job than the Safari GPS at getting me to the correct location. I was expecting a little more of a rustic location but this is a more modern style in a strip mall. Service was quick and attentive and the meal was out in less then five minutes. Nothing special about my bacon and eggs but the menu has so many more choices for those that want to try them. It's a bit out of the way for me to be a regular but had to come back for an honest review. I ordered the fat burger, came on a sour doe bun and high quality meat. The fries were quality Idaho russets freshly cut and cooked. My bride ordered the turkey southwest. I am amazed at the great reviews for this restaurant. Today was our second time having breakfast here and I ordered bacon crisp, home fried potatoes, biscuit and gravy and eggs over medium. My husband had a Denver omelet minus the pineapple (yuck - who wants fruit in their omelet) home fries and toast. Why they bring your toast way before your breakfast is beyond me because it is cold by the time your breakfast comes. We remember them doing that the first time and didn't like it.. My crisp bacon tasted like it had been cold and reheated, potatoes terrible and I swear there isn't any sausage in that "sausage" gravy. The lumps which should have been sausage tasted like nothing. The eggs were good as was the biscuit but the coffee is weak. We have crossed this off our list for breakfast places. read more

This was yummy! I was kind if surprised by the menu options and kind of thankful. The menu is more unique than your basic breakfast establishment. I probably won't order the enchiladas again, mostly because I didn't care for the scrambled eggs inside. But, I would order the other similar menu item I saw. I think it's more of a stack, vs actual enchiladas. The 5 car pile up was delicious and good amount of food for a good price. Our kids enjoyed the French toast! The potatoes side needed a little salt, but it was no biggie to add it myself. read more

Just had breakfast, and it was very good. Plenty of food for a reasonable price. I had the #4 omelette with fried potatoes and coffee. The total was a little over $10 and I feel that a received my money's worth. The omelette was big and very fluffy, a decent amount of meat and lots of melty cheese. The potatoes were fried with onions and green pepper, and had a reddish tinge. They were well cooked, but I wish they were crispy. Overall I would recommend the Grille . Had breakfast here this morning. I ordered the 5-car pileup. Had good flavor. Wasn't too salty which is good! I have a couple complaints though. The gravy was almost runny it wasn't as thick and creamy as you would expect country gravy to be. My eggs were barely cooked enough to avoid food poisoning. And the orange juice left a lot to be desired. It was watered down quite a bit. On the plus side the potatoes were delicious and the country fried steak was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. This dish in my opinion would benefit by being accompanied by toast. The restaurant itself is on the small side but very clean. The bathroom is nice and clean. I would probably come again to try a few other things on the menu. read more

I had high hopes for The Grille after reading the many positive reviews. Sadly my hopes were dashed by a dry and not particularly good breakfast burrito. Even after many liberal applications of salsa the burrito was dry and didn't have much seasoning or flavor. Even their Spanish sauce and salsa were very plain. Gringo salsa I suppose. Really good homemade food. Our server was very friendly and checked on us regularly. The breakfast enchilada was very delicious and nothing I've seen at other restaurants. My husband ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs, and you could tell that the gravy is made from scratch. The atmosphere was nice. Some of the walls looked like they could use a few paint touch ups, but everything was clean and modern. If you're into supporting local businesses, this is a great spot to enjoy breakfast or lunch. Our server also told us that they are open on Fridays until 8pm for Prime rib night. If the rest of the menu is anything like their breakfast menu I will definitely be back to try the prime rib. read more

Overall, I was pretty impressed with this quaint little restaurant. Prices were below average, or at least average, which was a nice surprise. Food options were plentiful, without being overwhelming, and service was above average. My server was helpful and friendly and prompt, but not pestering either. Food came quickly and was hot, too. The only thing I wasn't a huge fan of were the French fries. I could eat French fries for days, but I wasn't super impressed with these fries. I ordered the Texas Jack (which was quite tasty). It came with a generous portion of fries, which is always welcome, but they seemed a little bland a tasteless to me. They had no seasoning to them at all. Other than that, I enjoyed this place. My idea of what tastes like great, country cooking. The food was very good with giant portions, and the service was friendly and prompt.

It was simply "OK". Nothing really special stood out. I got the Hermossa omelette with his fries along with the biscuit and gravy poured over it. No complaints, pretty basic and good food. Kids and wife said their Hashbrowns were a little soggy, and the bacon was very thin with zero crisp. Pretty nice little menu, nothing bad to say about the place. read more
