WOW! For almost two years I drove past this place hundreds of times and never stopped in. At first glance it appeared to be a vegan place, I guess because of the name "green stop" I regret not stopping in here long ago. So it's January 1 2017 and a co worker told me to stop in. I ordered the special pork, mashed potatoes and gravy. I also had a side of homemade coleslaw. It came with a homemade corn muffin. I licked the plate clean! Talk about being completely taken by surprise! The food was DELICIOUS! The cook then offered me lamb he made along with rice and beans! It was spectacular! All I can say is if u pass by this place you are missing out! They make a lot of different items and have a nice menu. Will definitely be coming back! read more

Was driving by and stopped in for a bite. First off the place needs some updating . It's totally run down inside .I ordered a Cuban and was not happy with it. I guess I should have read the description but thought a Cuban sandwich was a Cuban sandwich You know , pork, ham,SWISS cheese, mayo,pickles and mustard. Wasn't expecting mozzarella and very dry pork. I had to take a drink every time I took a bite .About the only good thing about it was the bread. read more

Found them by a Yelp search on a rainy day, and was so happy I did. Just a quick lunch with my son, but the food was tasty, high quality, and in a quiet homelike setting. Felt like I was invited to a close friend's home for comfort food and conversation. My boy had a taco pizza, which was generously heaped, and I had a Caprese salad, which the mozzarella tasted so fresh I wondered if it was made on premises. I would definitely recommend. read more

Referred by a co-worker of my husband a few years ago. Ryan and I always prefer The Green Stop to other area restaurants...and we are always trying new places (and old), and always keep on coming back to the Green :) People have to understand that GOOD FOOD TAKES TIME, and it is definitely worth the wait (usually 30-40 min) and we pick it up to take home. Fresh made breads, bountiful pasta meals, fresh chicken and fish, and crisp salads. We've never had a bad meal here (I'm originally from NY, and can be picky so my husband says). You won't be disappointed. I actually want to keep this place a secret, but it's too good - and word is spreading! Walked in and was looking to place an order. Right away i see a CAT on the counter. How disgusting!!! That is not sanitary or legal! Left right away. Was talking to a friend and he said the same. Amazing, personable, homelike atmosphere. If you want a good eat, friendly owner who will even sit with you then the Green Stop is your place. We enjoyed a slice of pizza so my husband could taste it. Mmmm crunchy crust. For dinner I has the stuffed shrimp with Diablo sauce and linguini. He has his classic chicken parm. The garlic bread was homemade, but big full from half of the food we took it home. Definitely piping hot when your food arrives and great portions. read more

I was blown out of the water!!! The best salad I've had around here in so long and very inexpensive. The owner and cook do a fantastic job at giving you an amazing home cooked meal but also a warm, cozy environment with a lot of friendly conversation. Good pizza. Great price! After paying $20+ at other local pizza places for a large pie, the $12 large pizza at Green Stop was a relief. Pair that with them making their own bread and mozzarella and this place is a homerun. The only downside was it took 45min to make the pizza but that is not surprising now knowing they make fresh ingredients in house. They also deliver which is a rare find for the wind gap area. No more ridiculous product and delivery charge prices from other local establishments. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a new pizza place! read more

You have to look for the Green Stop, you can drive right by it and miss it...do yourself a favor and stop. It's pretty much just take out, not much room to sit and eat, but it's just about the best take-out around. Out of this little green building, you'd never expect the quality of food they serve! I''ve had many of their hamburgers and hot sandwiches and it's all been great! My favorite is their eggplant rollatina! I've tried it many places in the valley...nowhere does it compare with Green Stop. They also do catering, I had Stephanie cater my son's graduation, pork barbeque, sausage & peppers, delivered on time, hot. Dessert was fruit tarts. Delicious! The most overlooked under rated pizza place around. A small place with big flavor. Don't blink cause you might miss it,but when you find it you know you are in the right spot.
