I shopped here for at least a year, but will no longer give them my money. Last attempt I placed an order online to have my wife pick up, as we've done many times in the past with no problem. My wife got to the pick up area and the guy manning the window was rude. He told her she couldn't pick it up because it was under my name, in a rude way. The first time we went to the store the lady asked if we just wanted to use the same card, and said she only needs to put one of us on it. And it was never a problem before. So I called the store right away and was told that it's always been their policy, and the managers must have been making exceptions in the past but wouldn't tonight... Why would they not mention this to her the last half dozen times she picked up? They offered no apologies, just "meh". I sent an email about it that night, that they never bothered responding to. No acknowledgement, apology, explanation, nothing. They clearly don't care and just want your money. Although most the staff was friendly most of the time, I will not return to TGS. There are better dispensaries to be found, so I'd look right past TGS. read more

This place used to be great, but I can no longer recommend The Green Solution at all. A couple months ago they advertised a $61.62 ounce of Cosmos flower. I bought a couple over a month and it was a great deal. Then I went a couple weeks ago and it was $67.23... Annoying because there are better deals than that and it felt like a bait and switch. So today I go to order and it's now $78 for that same ounce! I call in and ask if they don't still have the deal and am told that there was never a deal, it's always been this price. I said "Less than two weeks ago I bought an ounce for $67..." She replied "No, you didn't. It's $69.95 but you have to add tax, so it's $78 total." (which first off, no... The tax on $69.95 would be like $17, not $11) She said this like she was talking to a child. I am literally looking at my order history showing that I bought the ounces for those prices, so to be called a liar and to have them raise the price by $17 over the course of weeks is just terrible business. If I wanted to show somebody Colorado's best-foot-forward in the marijuana industry, I would take them to The Green Solution (TGS). It's well lit, everything is labeled, and everyone wears clothing indicating they're an employee. For people who are new to buying legal weed, TGS is the closet thing to a typical retail environment that I have seen. For folks (like me) who are experienced in buying legal weed, they have some perks to consider. They offer a Reward Points program, you can shop online and pickup your order in the store with little waiting, and they also have a clearance rack if you're on a budget. I don't think any other place offers those three things together. Also, the fact this location is an old McDonald's located next to a Taco Bell just makes it ideal for stoner jokes. Flower prices could be better. Vape cartridges, concentrates, and edibles have fairly reasonable prices. Plus the clearance rack offers some great deals. However, some other places have them beat on good-ole-fashion bud. If their flower prices get competitive, then they'll have the perfect weed store. All things considered, this is the best weed store in Aurora (maybe the best in Colorado). I highly recommend visiting them. read more

Just left this place after waiting for fifteen minutes in line and chose to leave empty handed. I've been here before and it was OK with decent bud so came back by the edible sale which was bogus. I found a coupon in the Westword for 30% off the entire purchase. So I did a call ahead order before I left the Smoking Buddah head shop, but when I got to TGS the employee and the manager, Tim, informed me that that particular coupon I found only applied to the medical stores and not the recreational ones. I was upset because I was on a budget, didn't have a red card, and was in a lot of pain due to a surgery I was still healing from. So I said I wouldn't be able to get the product and was about to leave until Tim said, "Hold on," then disappeared, came back, and gladly scanned a $7 off coupon! Which shocked me because they had just given me one a few days prior for a different reason! But overall, the people at this store continue to blow me away with their awesome customer service skills. I often leave that store smiling from ear to ear from a good experience, but this time I left crying tears of small joy, because of the kindness shown to me. Tim didn't have to do anything, they could have sent me away with a shrug of their shoulders about the coupon. But the staff there always find a way to help me feel better, even if they don't know I need cheering up! TGS is my favorite place in Colorado!! I've always had a great experience using the online reservation window at this location. They are fast, friendly, and efficient. With that being said, on a few occasions I've actually gone in because I was in the area and figured why the hell not? And I've always had to wait in a line. The line alone makes you feel a little rushed when you finally do get your turn, even if the employees are working at 100% (which in my experience they are; the staff here is fantastic). I'm fine with the fast pace but partly because I've been a customer long enough to know which strains I like and don't like (frosted prism is my favorite flower; I love any of their pure live batter for my vape). I'm always satisfied with the product. And in comparison to what I can get in the springs it is better by leaps and bounds, in price and quality. Also, I highly recommend signing up for the rewards program and taking advantage of online reservations. The website has descriptions of all the products and it's easy to use. Your reservation is ready in under a half hour. You walk in and pay; you're in and out in minutes. read more

The customer service is on a different level. We were able to walk in explain what we wanted and what kind of high i was looking for and John Gray(bud tender) hit it right on the head. We walked away with Bud, edibles and concentrates because of the clearance areas located throughout the store for each category. They are all ways out the value flower and shake ever since they open there discount store ( don't know where it is and it's probably further then I would drive for a discount when there are so many other dispensary around) or they only have values in half half oz or full oz don't understand why they don't brake it down ,I like call ahead ordering feature. The green Solution was where I had my first experience with a recreational cannabis retailer. I have tried many many other dispensaries but but I always seems to come back to TGS. I really enjoy the atmosphere it feels modern , welcoming and inviting. I really really love the selection TGS offers they have a big selection of product to choose from. Great range if choices in flower firm. They have a few vaporizer options. They without a doubt have the best choice of edibles to pick from . Most of the other places I have tried have a much smaller selection of edibles to choose from and it is rare I am able to walk out with having spent less than ten dollars on edibles it's usually at least 30-45 $ while at TGS I can purchase from $4 and up. They have got nice clones if that is the route to that u are interested in and of course I like the staff they are always very helpful. They all seem to be knowledgeable and willing to help. It is Just consistently a good experience the only thing I am not thrilled with is they are in my opinion on the higher side when it comes down to premium bud and flower . But I do know the quality also reflects the prices as I'm never disappointed read more
