Me and some friends came here after Asr last week and overall the experience was okay. We were hesitant to come because we have been here once before and it took over 1hr 1/2 to get our food and we were the only people in the establishment, but that was over 1 year ago. This time, the woman taking our order was friendly and even gave our friend a free lemonade; We got our food within 10 minutes. While inside, they were playing afrobeats at a low volume, so we were still able to have conversation without speaking over the music. Regarding the food, I got the impossible shawarma wrap and it was delicious. There was a decent amount of sauce and meat, I just wished there were tomatoes in it as listed. The fries were also pretty good and given in a big portion. 2 of my friends got the chicken shawarma platter and one got a side of plantains. From this rice platter, there was a very small meat:rice ratio in which they had both finished their meat and still had a full bowl of rice. The plantains were really good though. We also got 2 orders of wings and they were decent. Overall, the service was fine, the location is convenient, the food was okay, and the experience was meh. Likely wouldn't come back here, but I also wouldn't tell other people not to come. It just wasn't our cup of tea. read more

The food is always amazing but the service is lacking. The parking lot is small and on a steep incline. The street parking is even worse. People don't come here for parking. The people are not mean but it always takes a while to get my food. I order pickup before coming but they still take 20 minutes to have my order ready after I arrive. I ordered the Lamb domoda with salad and plantains. The Domoda was spicy this time and it made the meal better. The salad was refreshing. The plantains were perfect. I love eating here. read more

The service was good. Guy at the front was friendly and helped us find our footing. The menu on the counter should have its lamination replaced cause it's covering some things on the bottom left. I got the domoda over rice with impossible beef which is fully vegan. I got two sides as part of the full combo (salad and plantains). The salad was really fresh and great. The plantains were cooked well but I think they could have used more seasoning. In my hunger I didn't see if there were seasoning shakers, but that could be a nice option. The domoda was great. Savory and slightly spicy. The rice had nice texture too. I'm glad I tried this restaurant. It's my first experience with Gambian/West African cuisines, and I'll be sure to try more around my hometown. This restaurant is fully halal. read more

I'm updating my review mainly to post food photos. This spot is still amazing and delicious. Again, the recommendation is to call in and pick-up. It's made to order so it takes some time and again isn't suitable to sit down at if your party is greater than 4. But it's perfect for dinner or late night cravings. Again, I am recimmending the loaded fries with beef and tossed in Greedy BBQ and anything with domoda. Domoda is "peanut butter stew" but it's more like a thick curry sauce and is addictive. read more

I came into this place because my friend was curious and I saw they have wings and I was craving wings. The wings are a bit small, comes in orders of 10 and smaller, menu says it comes with a side of celery but they don't have celery so don't expect that. I found out you can mix and match and put all the sauces on the wings for no extra charge, my favorite combo of sauces is Hot, Honey and Lemon pepper iykyk!! I have been back here over 6 times in the span of 4 weeks, it's great, the price is good and the food is good. Sometimes it's a little inconsistent like the sauce ratios were wrong and one time the plantains were dry which was upsetting since I paid more for extra plantains. read more

So what happened to find that spot randomly through word of mouth. And so far I cannot complain. It is in a little area right near my side job so it was really close to where I was going to be at. It's right next door it's a House of Hookah so you really can't miss it if you know where House of Hookah is. So first and foremost, when I walked into the establishment there were two guys that were coming out and they said that the food was hittin, so people are walking out saying that that you know it's going to be something significant! That was a good sign. They are somewhat new so I'm glad to be the first one to give a review for it. The food that I tried was good. I tried the signature barbecue wings and then I tried then domada pasta. It is a kind of a cream base pasta dish with chickens and onions. All of it was solid, all of it was good, flavor wise. Usually I would go ahead and go for the lemon pepper right away because Atlanta seems to love lemon pepper wings LOL but I was told to give this a shot. Now some of the wings were a little bit small, that's my only gripe. But the flavor behind them was Major so I don't really hold it against them too much. And the reasonably priced so I'm not that mad. If the wings are like $18 I got a bunch of really tiny wings, I would have been upset then. But overall I had a flow first experience. read more

5 stars for incredibly flavorful West African (the owner is from Gambia) and American cuisine. I was pleasantly surprised by the richness and combination of flavors. I stopped here for lunch, and ended up ordering dinner for later, because of how good it was. The wings are excellent (greedy bbq and lemon pepper), but unfortunately on the smaller side. The West African dishes were both a must try, easily the best West African food I've had. If you're looking to try something new, get the dibi or the benachin (only available on Friday). I've been wanting to try this place for some time. A few weeks ago my coworkers and I finally decided to try. We placed an order online and it was supposed to be ready by 12pm. I arrived a little before 12 and was told it would be a few minutes. Unfortunately the food wasn't ready until closer to 12:25-12:30 which cut into my lunch time. The food itself was GREAT. I ordered the chicken shawarma wrap with fries. The chicken was tender and moist and flavorful. The fries were crispy and seasoned well. Everything came together really well and I was quite impressed. Came here a second time and ordered inside instead. This time still waited about 20 minutes. I'm starting to realize that if I'm on a time limit I need to order super early because they typically have 1-2 ppl working and unfortunately they also move really really slow. The food overall is amazing and would've gotten 5 stars. But because I often visit during my lunch break and they move slow, I took away a star. Overall I'd definitely recommend it. This food is amazing! My husband and I came down from Woodstock to go to IKEA and needed a late night meal to-go. The menu was super easy to navigate and my eye was immediately drawn to the Domoda over rice. I LOVE peanut sauce and this was absolutely amazing!! Perfect spices, very comforting. I really hate that I have to write this review. when I first started going to The Greedy Bunch, they "had" great customer service and good vibes....all of that has changed, I literally call my order in and they tell me it'll be ready in 15 mins, I pull up and I'm waiting an additional 25 mins (45 min in total). This has been a consistent issue because the place is not even busy. They bring you your food laughing likes it's funny that a customer has to wait that long. The food is good, plantain iffy if there not cooked right. I recommend you calling your order in 45 min early, that's how bad the service has been. Hopefully they can get it together, it's great alternative for late night food. read more

The Greedy Bunch didn't have no business being that good so late at night. My friend and I discovered this place by accident after gallivanting through the streets of Atl. We wanted to try something new and this restaurant didn't disappoint. Now if you've been following me you know if there are no pictures the food didn't stand a chance and I completely forget to take pictures. This was the case. My highest recommendation is the Garlic Honey fries! Yes yes yes. The staff was friendly and patient and we will be back! Parking lot and establishment is small but definitely worth it read more

Food is very good. The Domoda is very tasty, as is the rice. Parking can be tough at night, even if you're just picking an order up. The few spots in front are often taken by cars of people going to a restaurant on the next block. Cars will also be parked in the driveway preventing other cars from getting through. It gets to be a real mess. The people behind the counter don't seem to care about the problem. I don't expect them to fix it themselves but they can report it to the owner. But they choose not to. I parked in a back lot last night and didn't feel safe walking up the street. The next time I go there to pick up an order, I'll cancel it if parking is unavailable.
