    Brown stew Snapper

This is walk up restaurant no seating. You order the food and it's all to go. The food I ordered was delicious I got the brown stew snapper which is cooked to order takes about 20 minutes. But worth the wait it was amazing! My friend got the ox tails and she loved them

If you are looking for real deal Jamaican food, this is the place! AND they serve breakfast! I am of Jamaican heritage and this is authentic. Check it out! JUST AN FYI, breakfast isn't ready until about 8:30a-9a, even though they open at 6am. Enjoy!

Great service, and stays open late! Rare, because most Caribbean spots shut down shop pretty early. There was a bit of a line, but the wait wasn't too long. I really liked that the oxtail pieces were large, kind of fatty though. They give you a lot of rice! Minimal cabbage. The flavor was okay. I'd return for a late night fix, but wouldn't go out my way other than that. I'd like to give them another chance.

    Brown Stew Chicken Plate.

This is my go-to every time I go! Never disappointed. The whole plate is very flavorful, even the rice and pease. The chicken is well seasoned, falls off the bone, and always has more than enough gravy for my rice and peas. The cabbage is well seasoned as well. Not only is the plate flavorful but this is a "medium" size plate, portions are lovely!! And the prices are great!

I liked the jerk chicken the best of the 2 meats.

8/18/23 I went for another round after movie night around 10pm; 1 star just for being open for late-nighters wanting good/down home/affordable food in ATL without pretense (IYKYK), 4 stars for food & service. Sauce was on point this time and the beef patties. Grabbed a veggie plate that was really really good. Served hot, they charged for extra sauce eve though I didn't have any on my plate because I asked for it to all be on the side and they don't substitute anytime any of the combos so I has to take corn even though I would have preferred double of any green veggie instead but it was good. Coconut bread was good - a close second to NY, who has thee best- and the jerk chicken was tender juicy wings smothered in sauce per the BF's review. Now, it can get tense in the line- ppl always seem to be on the brink of hangry when they come here lol! The cashier was under pressure from some other clients being pushy after he politely told them they were out of certain things like veggie Pattie's and plantain so I give him extra kudos for keeping calm/being professional! Most likely gonna go back tonight based on the reviews of other places and the food pics of the alternatives. If you want real Jamaican food, made by staff that appear to be of the culture, without having to sit or go thru ATL shenanigans this is the spot. It's in Westside ATL which I love because it's not pretentious or over-rated, it's real community vibes, and just down home like I like it. I'm from SF/Oakland and been bi-coastal traveling 2 yrs and this place is a dependable go-to. Nothing fancy and priced just right with large portions. Sent others here and everyone has said it's a go!

I'm pleasantly surprised, and will definitely be ordering again. We ordered through grub-hub on Saturday night for delivery, my sister and i were craving Caribbean food and did not feel like driving to memorial drive for our old faithful. We took a chance and it was worth it - the food arrived hot and the portions were generous. The oxtail phenomenal. It was tender, savory and well seasoned - the plantains were just ripe and fried correctly with no excess oil. The curry chicken was delicious, medium spice, right amount of heat - juicy chicken and plenty of gravy. The reviews may be accurate for interacting with the associates, but our experience was superb. I'd recommend giving it a shot.

Covid-19 score = F. No gloves, no mask, no social distancing. No protection against people coming in and touching things (a couple came off the streets and rifled though the carry out bags). They look to be understaffed, I didnt see anyone for at least 5 minutes. Three other people waiting. A glimpse at the kitchen was enough to see it was a mess back there, with equipment laying about, and open food. Poor place is a nighmare right now.

As someone who is known for seeking out and truly testing vegetarian options at Caribbean…read morerestaurants, I have to say--Miss Conduck is easily the best Caribbean flavor restaurant in Atlanta. And coming from a Jamaican background, let me be clear: the usual Trinidad vs. Jamaica debate does not apply here. This place stands on its own. From the moment the food hit the table, one thing was consistent across everything we ordered: it was hot, fresh, and made with real intention and flavor. We started with the fried cauliflower bites. The batter was light, crispy, and well done--definitely a solid starter. I wasn't a big fan of the tartar sauce it came with, but it didn't take away from the quality of the cauliflower itself. My friend ordered the jerk chicken rolls, and I have to give credit where it's due--the sauce that came with those rolls was incredible. Easily one of the standout sauces of the night. Next, I had the doubles, and because I like my food with a kick, I asked for pepper sauce. Now, I'll admit--I made my first one obnoxiously hot. But what I discovered was the real winning combination: adding the callaloo on top of the doubles. That was the perfect match. The callaloo itself is blended with so many elements into a rich, flavorful purée, and when paired with the doubles, it created this burst of layered, authentic Caribbean flavor that was just on point. I also ordered a veggie plate with rice and peas, cabbage, and chickpeas, and they did not disappoint. The portion size was generous, and every single item was clearly made with flavor in mind--not just thrown together as an afterthought for vegetarians. I also tried the macaroni pie--it's a smaller portion, but it's true Caribbean mac and cheese, rich and satisfying. The fried plantains were done perfectly--hot, fresh, and with that ideal balance of sweetness and texture. Then came the rasta pasta. My first couple of bites, I thought it needed a little more kick--but by the third bite, everything came together perfectly. You can taste the layers of vegetables building flavor, and there's a subtle heat that isn't overpowering but adds depth. The noodles were cooked exactly how they should be--perfect texture, not overdone, not undercooked. One thing I always pay attention to is this: Is a vegetarian-friendly restaurant also approved by meat eaters? And in this case, the answer is absolutely yes. My friend had the jerk chicken, and she said it was spectacular. She actually lives nearby and already plans to come back regularly. Honestly, I was surprised the place wasn't packed wall to wall. The atmosphere is incredible--it has its own unique style that really makes you feel like you've stepped into the Caribbean. The music, the vibe, everything is intentional. The staff was extremely attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit. We even watched them handle a large party, and they went above and beyond to make sure that group was fully taken care of. All in all, this place exceeded expectations on every level. Five stars without hesitation. If you're in Atlanta and want real Caribbean flavor--whether you eat meat or not--Miss Conduck is a must-visit. I highly recommend making a reservation and experiencing it for yourself.

We tried calling ahead, but no one answered; fortunately, it wasn't too busy when we arrived, so our tardiness wasn't an issue. There was a DJ playing a nice mix of hip hop and R&B, which set a great vibe. We weren't immediately greeted since no one was at the hostess stand, but someone from the kitchen noticed us right away and seated us. They offered a $28 "Girl Brunch" with a choice of cornbread or deviled eggs, plus either jerk chicken fried rice or croissant French toast with blueberry compote, along with a lemon drop. I chose the deviled eggs and croissant French toast and gave the lemon drop to my friend, opting for a mocktail instead. My friend ordered the cornbread and steak and eggs. We both enjoyed everything. I was pleasantly surprised by the croissant French toast, and the mocktail was just as good as any cocktail.
