I followed a friend to get an important document framed at The Great Frame Up and she was very pleased at the professionalism and clear expertise here. Sammy was extremely knowledgeable about every process of getting this document done even though the document and frame weren't a perfect fit, he ensured us that they could get it done to the company's standards (very high). The prices here are higher than other places you may see but you very clearly get what you pay for. The folk here are experts at what they do and take great care of their craft. read more

We loved our experience with the staff at The Great Frame Up! We had been at Cherry Creek and I just happened to google frame shop and their name came up . I drove over and met the staff and left our canvas to be framed that day. Excellent service and attention to detail. Much appreciated. We will be back ! read more

Came by to switch the direction of the wire on one of my paintings that was done incorrectly and the woman at the shop was so kind, She fixed it for me for free! Will absolutely come back here for future frame jobs. Amazing customer service and clearly fair in pricing. read more

I had a mirror that was very loose in the frame and needed to be, what I thought, was reframed. I took it to the Great Frame Up and they took a look at the mirror and recommended that it just be refastened to the frame. In about 5 minutes they had the tape off the back and the existing fasteners out. The put in new fasteners and retaped it up good as new. I asked how much and they said bring us your next framing project!! In this day and age of price gouging and make a buck at any price these folks got it right. I will definitely bring them any future framing I have without question. read more

These guys are the best! I had an old passport full of cool visas and stamps that I had been wanting to do something with forever. Ethan took the time to work with me to come up with an awesome layout to frame and matte it. I'm blown away by the results. It looks better than I ever could have imagined and can't compliment Ethan enough on the incredible job he did. This kind of service and attention to detail is hard to find and I'm so glad I stopped in to see what they could do. This is the second time I've had something framed at The Great Frame Up and I'll definitely be back. read more

This was my first time doing a custom frame and holy smokes it was so fun, fast, and expensive. But not so expensive that it made me change my mind and run away. I just had no idea what went into custom framing. The guys here are knowledgeable, very appreciative of art, laid back, patient, and nonjudgmental. They insist you feel good about the frame and didn't make me feel bad about trying basically half the wall of options. They are also quick and conveniently called and left a voicemail sooner than expected to tell me my frame was done. I spent less than 10min on the whole ordeal in 2 visits. What a breeze. read more

Went above and beyond! They came out to my car to help me with my art, gave me a free consultation about my broken frames, and even removed dangerous parts of the frame and glass so that I wouldn't get cut. Thank you so much for the amazing customer service!! read more

Great experience. I took in a poster to get framed for my husband's birthday present, they had a wide selection of frames and you could select a museum quality glass. The turn around time was awesome, he said 2 weeks and in a week they called me and said it was ready. It was all just so simple. I know I will go back to The Great Frame Up for other frames. The price seemed reasonable. read more

Chuck and team made what is a very pricey and stressful experience incredibly pleasant. I shopped around at a couple of shops and selected The Great Frame Up based on price and the suggestions they made over the phone about how to best frame my oversized print. The Great Frame Up came in 30% lower than the next shop, and I felt it was in great hands following my consultation. Turnaround time for my piece was under a week, and the end result is exactly what I was looking for. I'll absolutely be back when I need another piece framed, and would highly recommend them for your framing needs. read more

Had several casual encounters with these guys (cutting mirror, replacing back on existing framed item) and they were always super professional, friendly and prompt. Had an old family item and decided to give it the pro treatment and get it into circulation. Had a fun 30 minutes perusing frame and mat options, in a low key, no pressure way. Took about a week to do the work, paid in advance and the rate was professional grade as well (~$200 for 11x14 fully matted and framed). Final product was just awesome, and a huge hit as a gift. Artisans in a neighborhood shop like this are rare these days- give em the extra 15% for the excellent service and you won't be sad. read more

From the moment I called to get information on frame ideas, i was absolutely impressed. They really took the time to walk me through all of my options, and to provide their professional input. While in the store they walked me through every step effortlessly. all of the employees were extremely helpful, and niceeeeee. Being nice is hard to come by now a days, but their work was impeccable, and I'd highly recommend them to everyone. thanks again. read more

I am in love with the finished product and service i received. I would like to say it took hours for me to find the right frame but Travis was able to look at it and make the perfect recommendation. It is perfect and looks so great and elevated. Thanks for making a great recommendation that lead to a beautiful finished product. read more

First time customer at Great Frame Up at 9th and Corona. Because I am not creative, I looked to their expertise to guide me on matting and framing my beautiful large photo. Ethan, a knowledgeable and talented staff member, guided me through the entire process. He has an eye for color, understands how the frame material should complement the nature of the photo and was excellent in helping me with scale (proportion) between/amongst the mat, frame and artwork. I chose "museum quality glass" and absolutely love it along with the finished product. I strongly recommend The Great Frame Up, and when you wisely utilize their competent services, be sure to ask for ETHAN! Christine S, Denver, CO read more

Absolutely great service and only took 2 weeks for a custom frame! Great job as well they did exactly what I asked for and we discussed beforehand! read more

Took a very special piece of art to these guys... was in a rush to gift it to the family... They said they were about a week out on framing projects, but would get it done ASAP. They put a rush on it, got it done in 2 days. When I called, they said they could tell it was a special gift, and wanted to help get it done in time... Everything worked out perfect, I can't say enough kind things about The Great Frame Up! I will certainly be back for more framing. read more

First of all, they did a GREAT job. I came in 1 week before Christmas with a larger black and white photo of my grandmother and her sister. I wanted it framed for my mom for her Christmas present. They were helpful and interested in the photo and really helped me pick out the best matting, frame, etc. They called me in a week to pick up. The only reason I am not giving a 5th star, it was a littler pricier than what I expected to pay and from what I know Hobby Lobby would have charged; however, this place is right near where I live and the convience factor beat out other options. They were really nice and the framed photo looks fantastic! read more

Have to echo everyone else's comments on here. The people working were so friendly, it was calm environment, and I thought I got a deal! I had this cool vintage poster of Denver that I wanted framed. The associate helped me find an appropriate frame, it was priced reasonably, and it was done within a week! Very happy. Like the other reviewer said, why go anywhere else? Thank you Frame Up staff! read more

So these guys are AWESOME. I went in looking for an affordable way to frame two pieces (the "poor college student" price). They gave me such good information and recommendations and helped me get a great frame job at a more than reasonable price. Couldn't be happier, they have great attitude and atmosphere. Great Service, Amazing Quality, and Affordable. I've been to many, many framing places but none compare this independent shop. Chuck and his team are _the_ examples of patience and service. Each time that we've come in (Chuck's team has done 8 pieces for us now), he has worked with us to get just the right border pieces and frames. He is careful to listen to what we want and patient enough to let us think about the choices before us. All of this and never have we been pressured into a more expensive option that we didn't really want (or need). Our favorite job that they've framed up for us was of our wedding pictures and invitation. It always catches eyes and gets compliments for its classy, finished look. All this great service...and the price is right too. You'd think that all this personal attention that is impossible to find at Michael's or Aaron Bros that the prices would be astronomical. They're not! (One piece was half the cost Michael's). I would suggest visiting Chuck to anyone! read more

Visited this store for the very first time yesterday and had a superior experience. Travis, and another member of the staff (so sorry I cannot remember his name) helped me go trough and select four beautiful frames for a client of mine. The whole process lasted about two hours and was worth every penny. I wouldn't go anywhere else:) Thank you!!! read more

I had a baseball jersey and picture framed which came out ok but the price was outrageous. They are definitely not great at framing jerseys and for the price I am very disappointed with the work. Customer service was good but outcome not so much. read more

They are the best in town! been using them for years & always refer to them.

A few weeks ago I dropped off a portrait of my late husband and his flag from the services. Travis understood how very important and special these two pieces were to me and took special care. He called me a few days later with an idea of adding a special touch to the flag and it turned out incredibly beautiful! He had things done sooner then expected. Travis is a true artist and has a very kind soul. I will never go anywhere else and will recommend this place to anyone and everyone! read more

This is one of those places where after you go once, you don't see the point in trying anywhere else. I keep coming back because they are awesome. They give amazing feedback too. I always think I know what I want when I go in, then one of the guys there will inevitably say (coming from all their experience) "Well what about something like this?" and it always ends up being an even more pronounced and unique piece than I had in mind. Turn around time and communication is always great, the price has always been more than fair, and overall I just couldn't say enough good things about the guys working there and the work they have done for me. Additional +1 for always having great music in the background and carrying pieces by local artists, one of which is now in my living room. read more

I went to have two pieces of art framed, with a good idea that I would have to pay out of my butt for what I needed. One piece was 48" x 36" and the other piece was 24" x 30". Both pieces needed to be stretched, mounted, and framed, so I knew I was going to be spending several hundred dollars. I'm a starving student, so I couldn't pay a lot. The first figure I was given was sort of high (I picked out a pretty nice, but simple, frame for the paintings), and I told him with some chagrin that I was looking to keep it about a hundred dollars lower. I think he took pity on me, because the next estimate was a full 75.00 lower. And I DIDN'T have to change the frame or anything else. Needless to say these guys get my business for any other framing I need done. The great part is the turnaround on framing the art is less than a week. read more

Never had the occasion to get something professionally framed before until I got some work accepted into an art show. These guys were extremely helpful and patient with my indecision. The cost was reasonable and the end result was just what I wanted. They even finished ahead of schedule. I will definitely return should I need to get more work done. Thanks guys! read more

My boyfriend was so excited when American Pharoah won the Triple Crown that he made sure he saved his program and winning ticket from the race. I wanted to surprise him by framing those items along with some photos and a plate I had engraved to mark the occasion. I walked into The Great Frame Up with somewhat of an idea of how I wanted it to look, but lacking a creative mind, I was truly a bit clueless. Chuck was extremely helpful and patient! He spent time with me pulling sample after sample and offered great advice as to how everything should go together. Plus, he remained very mindful that I was trying to pull off this surprise on a budget. To top it all off, my order was completed 2 days before expected. The finished product looks even better than I had imagined!!! I couldn't have been happier with my experience from start to finish! read more
