I called customer service and the next day they sent out an inspector to see what the problem was. Within three days American furniture warehouse had sent out an exchange for the defective recliner. Their delivery men were very courteous, professional, and knowledgeable about what the problem was. it was a pleasure working with them. The prices at American furniture warehouse are very reasonable compared to other furniture. We have bought furniture before from them and we will continue to buy more since we are very happy with our whole experience.

I found a hole in one of the cushions of the sofa and they came out on the 17th and replaced the cushion. On May 30th I found a second hole in one of the other sofa cushions. I called and informed them that I wanted to return the sofa and loveseat at that point. Since then I have found a 3rd hole, though I digress. I ordered a new different sofa and loveseat that was a special order and would not arrive until July 15-18. I have called and talked to no less than 12 "customer service" people, all the while being told that "it would be another week". Today I called and was told that now it would be "another few weeks". By now I am livid! "Nikki" said she would call the manufacturer and call me back. She of course did not call me back. I called again and was told I could not be transferred to "Nikki",and spoke to "Chelsea". She informed me that yes, it would be another few weeks. I asked her if I could speak to a manager and she informed me that she and everyone there IS a MANAGER. I said that there HAS to be someone above her, she said "no, I report to no one". I informed her that now I am going to and find furniture SOME PLACE ELSE, and that I will then call and have AFW come and pick up this DEFECTIVE AND CRAPPY furniture and get a refund. She said "you can do that if you like". Honestly, this is NO WAY to treat customers! I have gotten furniture from AFW in the past and have never been treated like this. Trust me, DO NOT GWT FURNITURE FROM THIS COMPANY!! The value for the money you spend is simply CRAP! And apparently they do not care.

Feeling unlucky and ready to give up, we were pointed to the direction of this modern, millennial artistic entrance. We originally passed this shop, with assumptions of indifferent staff, selling cosmopolitan-anything and us feeling broke, we kept on going. Well three times the charm, our unenthusiastic attitude quickly shifted a 180 just by walking in! First, it was these air plants on a fridge magnet with fun little quotes that drawn us in. They were $28.00, which Nick and I considered buying it. However, looking around, the staff recommended to us a unique gift, for pulling herbs and PERFECT for a green thumb, gardener! We were thrilled to finally end our Christmas shopping quest, because Cherry Creek North seemed to only cater indoor living, and crafts. But, what happens when you're shoppin' for a very talented, artsy, and imaginative MIL?? She always makes her own napkins, her own pottery. Everything seems to be handmade from her! Our gift was completely homespun, wonderful, and Revampt even honored a Yelp discount for %15 off! We purchased an air plant for my sister as well and their gift wrapping is incredibly eco friendly and very cute!

I initially had a great experience with Jaime Langer and genuinely believe she has strong design…read moreskills. However, my overall experience with her ended in deep disappointment and frustration. If you choose to work with her, do not let her refer you to Hummingbird HRD (Crystal and Brian Mansanares), as that is where everything unraveled. Jaime first helped me after a Christmas morning plumbing disaster, and at the outset, she was fantastic--quick to respond, knowledgeable, and actively engaged in creating thoughtful layouts. Because things seemed to be going well, we also hired her for additional design work in our kitchen and living room. But when she referred us to Hummingbird as the general contractor, she stepped away entirely, leaving us in the hands of an inexperienced team that led to an overpriced, incomplete, and poorly executed renovation. Where Things Went Wrong Jaime and Crystal turned out to be personal friends rather than longtime collaborators, and our home was essentially a "guinea pig project"--a fact Jaime admitted only after things had gone terribly wrong. The staggering lack of professionalism from Hummingbird resulted in months of stress, wasted money, and a home that remains unfinished to this day. After Crystal declared the project "done" (despite glaringly poor workmanship), I asked Jaime to see the state of things herself. She agreed with me that the quality was unacceptable and even apologized for how badly things had turned out. She admitted that Crystal lacked the necessary experience and recognized that we had been unintentionally used as a test project. To make matters worse, she also told me, "Wow, I didn't realize you were so detail-oriented--I would feel exactly the same." As if they thought they could get away with subpar work and I wouldn't notice--truly insulting. Jaime's Final Disappointing Choice To her credit, Jaime convinced Crystal and Brian to attempt to fix their mess, but she ultimately abandoned the project. Despite personally acknowledging all the flaws, she later sent me a completely contradictory statement: "I have every faith in Hummingbird completing the project as promised, and overall, I believe they have done an exceptional job." This project was supposed to take 4-6 weeks starting in March--it was still dragging on in November, at which point I cut ties entirely because it was no longer worth the emotional toll. To this day, our home remains unfinished and cheap-looking, a painful reminder of the stress and financial loss we endured. What We Actually Got for Jaime's Fees After paying her design fees for both the bathroom and kitchen/living room, all we truly received was: * Layout options * A recommendation for Hummingbird (which proved disastrous) * Help selecting a kitchen table and rug Had we gone with a different general contractor, I might be writing a glowing five-star review. Unfortunately, given how this played out, I cannot recommend Jaime Langer at all.

I just used Jaime and her team for a home refresh. Her well trained eye brought out the best in my…read morehome and her advice on new additions were spot on. Sometimes we all need another perspective and Jaime is a great design partner. Jaime is well known for her excellent staging work, but also consider her for interior design.

From trying to load the whole 2000lb worth of flooring material onto a little trailer (with only 500lb limit), to not being able to do simple math and tries to short us on $$$. To not exactly knowing what kind of products they offer because "My computer is down, I can't look up in the system" when the sale flyer literally tells you the kind of product they carry. It seems like the store manager is the only person that knows anything around there. If you want flooring with a good price, this is the place to go. I wouldn't say their flooring is the best but for the price, look/feel of product and quality, the flooring at Lumber Liquidators does hit the sweet spot.
